Slice just celebrated their 5 year anniversary. So glad to have this brewery so close to us . I love love the craft beers here . They release new beers often so you get really excited to try the new releases coming up. The inside is fairly small, but they have a cute sliding window that opens up to the outside. They recently created a patio space for the out front. I am so glad they did this. It definitely creates more space for families and friend to gather and have some good cold ones on a nice warm day . Izzy has helped us the last few times and she is just so friendly and attentive. If you want to sample anything before committing to a certain beer, she will definitely let you sample so you could pick accordingly. They also have plenty of cans to go. They do not have food there, but they do have an ordering system that you could order from Old Town Pizza next-door and they will deliver it to you. Pretty sweet because we all know Old Town Pizza is the best pizza in town. They also have some very cute merch. I really love their brown beanie. Overall, I highly recommend this brewery if you are a IPA drinker . We will definitely be coming back .

One of the best breweries in CA known for its crisp west coast IPAs and lagers. They hardly distribute so make sure you pick up some 4packs to go. The place itself is not large but you can likely find a seating at one of the bar stools or tables. They offer both full sized pint pours as well as 5oz tasters, so you can try different ones across lagers, west coast IPAs, and hazy IPAs. They also allow you to bring in food, and often partner with pizza place next door.

Absolutely LOVE this place. Attached to Old Town Pizza which is awesome, so you can grab some pizza and enjoy some amazing beers. They have GREAT beers and an awesome selection. They're just good at what they do. It's impossible to find a beer that you won't love. The staff is super friendly, they know their beer, and they give great recommendations. The building is not big but it's great. They have seating that looks out to the street, seating at the bar, tables inside, and a bit of standing room. They have multiple TVs which allows you to watch sports or a show. BEERS TO-GO: They have a lot of beers to-go and I feel confident that you will not leave without beer to-go. SWAG: They have LOTS and LOTS of swag. From shirts to flannels to hats to stickers to tackers. PARKING: Since they're located in downtown/old Lincoln, there's street parking and a parking lot adjacent to the brewery. You shouldn't have an issue finding a spot even if you have to walk a little bit.

We came here Friday around 3:45 and it was packed! Luckily we found some chairs near the only 1 restroom in the place. They are IPAs heavy here. We tried some hazies and a sour. Pretty good.

We came here on a Thursday around 6pm. The place was not crowded at all and we found an empty table for our party of five. The server at the register was friendly and knowledgeable. There is no food served here but there is an order screen for pizza delivery from Old Town Pizza (which we used today). The atmosphere was super chill today and we enjoyed our time here catching up with dear friends.

Legit craft brewery. Small inside but nice ambience. A lot of west coast IPA's when I visited, but they rotate a lot. Easy parking. Will definitely be back.

Small town beer but in a big town way. Flavorful IPAs, stouts, and everything in between! Had the wonderful opportunity to try everything on tap and everything was absolutely fantastic!! Cheers to a brewery that "gets it". Thank you for having IPAs made with desirable hops, and stouts with adjuncts that are to trend. I am quite optimistic with what the future holds for this new brewery. Go grab a pizza from next door and settle in for some pints or a flight.

Wow, excellent beer. Was trying to find a place to grab a good beer that wasn't some random run of the mill IPA, think I found my new spot. Folks who are serving you are super nice and helpful. Tight quarters and hyper skunk are excellent choices, though I loved everything I had. Reminded me a bit of one of my favorite breweries, ghost town. No food is served here but the folks helping us out pointed us to an excellent taco place less than a block away. Definitely swing by.

What I love about this brewery they have a beer for everyone. They are open inside and they also put some tables and tents outside. There is street parking and a decent parking lot to the left of the building. All of the staff has been pretty nice and they keep the place very clean. They have some cool merchandise for sale and they come up with new things constantly. M-T 3-10pm F-Sun 11am- 10pm Order.slice beer.com

Best IPAs in California, perhaps the entire country. All beers are fairly priced too.

Ask the Community - Slice Beer

Is it pet friendly?

We don’t promote being dog-friendly but if we aren’t too busy we’re usually open to making it work.

Is there patio seating and high chairs?

Unfortunately we no longer have our parklet outside. There are no high chairs for children.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The service was fantastic--super friendly, easygoing, and exactly what you hope for when you're settling in to enjoy a drink and unwind. Lots of areas there are to sit. Whether you want to be inside, out on the patio, or tucked into one of the many outdoor spaces, there's plenty of room to spread out. It's the kind of place where everyone feels comfortable. Families were out enjoying time together, kids running around having fun, and it was great to see so many people bringing their dogs along. We had our dog with us, which made the visit even better--any place that welcomes four-legged friends gets extra points. We tried a beer and a mead, and both were very good--refreshing and full of flavor. We also ordered a pizza, and despite the brewery being quite busy, it came out surprisingly quickly. Even better, it was delicious: hot, flavorful, and exactly what you want alongside a good drink. What really stood out was the overall vibe. It's lively without feeling crowded, relaxed but energetic, and the kind of place where you can easily spend an afternoon or evening. Dueling Dogs Brewing is definitely worth the visit. We'll absolutely be back--including of course , our 4 legged friend

This was such a cool find!…read more We came to town for a family members birthday party and wanted to stop by a brewery for lunch and check out the area. The place was way bigger than what I was expecting! The parking lot is huge, and it was packed! You order your beverage and food at the bar and they pour you your drinks and give you a pager for the food. I was impressed to see the food was coming out of a food truck for how large the venue is. I was drinking the Mexican lager, served with salt and lime. I thought it was super tasty, I liked it a lot. My husband was drinking the hazy ipa which had a pretty high percentage, I believe like a 7.5%! It was surprisingly easy to drink and fruity. Food we ordered the BLT and it was served with house made pickles and potato salad. The potato salad had cheddar cheese inside it, I like that twist. I ordered the pizza pretzel and at first thought $18.50 is pretty steep pricing for a pretzel but let me tell you, the pictures do not do the size justice. It is literally the size of a pizza! So big, covered in mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. Came with plenty of dipping sauce too. I loved it, it was so fresh and delicious, and perfect to share! I had more than half leftover to take home! Check this spot out it was pretty rad, they had live music and the vibes were great! We could've hung out here all day perfectly content.

So...we are a local family that enjoys going to local breweries. Sometimes it's just us older…read moreadults and sometimes it's with the kids and grandkids. Here's the hard truth, Hillenbrand has really good food and good beer. However, they are chasing away families left and right. Kids are not really welcome at all. The signs posted make it evident. The best seating area is marked with 21 and over on each and every table. I get it. Sometimes it's nice to have an adult only night out. However breweries in the area should decide who they want their customers to be. On a Thursday evening, it should really not be an issue for a family to have a nice night out. The highlight of our night for me was drinking beer out of a plastic cup. For the second round we asked for glassware, but were told we had to buy the glasses to have glassware. When we turned that down, we got a sales pitch for the monthly stein program. Sorry! For the monthly amount they want I'm pretty sure the winery around the corner has a better deal. We also asked if we could bring in our Hillenbrand glasses that we already have the next time to use and the girls behind the bar had no answer. The best part was when the bartender handed over the plastic beer cups and said enjoy your plastic. So the question is, next time we go out on a Thursday night to enjoy a beer and food is it going to be Hillenbrand or the 3 other breweries in the area. Also the girls behind the bar gratefully filled us in to the fact that Hillenbrand is not a brewery but in fact a bar. Too bad Ron wasn't there tonight. PS our two children were very well behaved and stayed by us the entire time we were there.
