Good selection but no 4 pack all individual cans on the craft beer. Which is more expensive.

When I heard Moksa and Hawks were teaming up, I was beyond excited. Moksa already makes some of the best beer around, and Hawks has long been one of my favorite restaurants in the Sacramento/Placer area. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect since Hawks is known for its elevated dining experience, but they absolutely knocked it out of the park. The food is delicious , the portions are generous, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality you're getting. Pair that with Moksa's incredible beer selection, plus wine and canned cocktails, and there's something for everyone. They also do fun events like trivia and music bingo, which gives you another reason to keep coming back. Whether you're grabbing a beer, meeting friends for dinner, or making a night of it, this place delivers every time. Do yourself a favor and check it out. You'll be glad you did

Great option for classic burgers and fries [Roseville CA]…read more Met my Yelper friend, Lilah, from SoCal with her husband and some of her family members at Moksa, my first time here... incredible food and atmosphere! The restaurant is a result of a partnership between Moksa Brewing Company and Hawks Restaurant. The aesthetics inside were cool with plenty of seating indoors and also patio dining. This is a counter service restaurant. I placed my order for a Cheeseburger. They don't deliver the food to your table, you get a buzzer instead when food's ready to pick up at the counter. The cheeseburger with all the trimmings was delicious... the garlic fries -omg- they were excellent! I don't drink beer or alcohol but I would love to come back to try more from their menu! The chef-inspired husband and wife team, Chef Mike Fagnoni and Molly Hawks, are also owners of Hawks Restaurant in Granite Bay and Hawks Provisions + Public House in Midtown Sacramento. There you go! I tried the giant Bavarian pretzel, schnitzel, and apple strudel, and what a delicious adventure! The pretzel was soft and chewy with a beautifully golden, salted crust. But the schnitzel stole the show! Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and paired with a rich, savory gravy that was absolutely delicious. The gravy brought everything together, making every bite hearty, flavorful, and pure comfort food! The fries deserve some love too! Ask for a side of curry ketchup. It's tangy, slightly spiced, and adds a delicious twist to your fries. For dessert, the apple strudel was the perfect sweet ending, with its delicate pastry and comforting apple filling. This Rex left with a full belly and zero regrets! Beyond the food, the atmosphere feels like an authentic slice of Germany! The spacious outdoor biergarten is perfect for relaxing with friends and family, while the indoor game room adds a playful touch. They even have a dedicated section with toys for little ones, making it a wonderful spot for families. Between the welcoming atmosphere and traditional German charm, there's something for everyone to enjoy! Rex Tip: Visit on Saturday or Sunday to explore their rotating weekend specials! They switch things up, so there's always something delicious and different to discover. Be sure to check their event calendar for occasional live music, too. It's the perfect excuse to return for another dino-mite German feast! 5 ROARS out of 5!

When the waiter brought my drink, I immediately noticed it didn't look like a traditional Piña Colada, and after tasting it, I confirmed it certainly didn't taste like one either. I politely asked if I could exchange it for a different drink. The waiter returned and said the manager wouldn't allow an exchange but would offer me 50% off instead. I explained that I wasn't happy with the drink and simply wanted to order something else. The manager came over and explained that the menu includes a disclaimer stating the cocktails are made with soju instead of the traditional liquor. In my opinion, the waiter should have mentioned that when I ordered, especially since it significantly changes the flavor. I hadn't noticed the disclaimer--I simply ordered what I thought would be a classic Piña Colada. Unfortunately, I was still charged half the price for a drink I didn't enjoy and wasn't allowed to order a replacement. The manager emphasized that it was too expensive for the restaurant to remake drinks, which I found disappointing. I've never had an experience like this at any other restaurant. On a positive note, I ordered the Reuben sandwich with fries, and it was delicious. That was the highlight of the meal. However, the service was also lacking. Our waiter was slow and couldn't answer several of our questions without repeatedly leaving to ask someone else. Because of the poor customer service and how the drink situation was handled, I won't be returning.

Being my first time I just wanted to get some range practice in and see where my balls were going. There are all sorts of games but we just went with the practice mode. I did bring some of my own clubs but clubs are available for use at your bay. It was pretty warm out but each bay had a mister on to keep us cool. My friend told me about their golf bag cocktail that comes in a souvenir take home golf bag plastic cup. It's a super cute souvenir to take home with straws shaped like golf clubs too. The drinks are meant to be shared by at least 2 people. I'd recommend the boozy cherry limeade over the berry bash cocktail. The servers are very nice and I ordered both through our server and with the QR code I the table. We weren't very hungry but we orders some snacks including the cheese fries and the chips and queso. Both were solid choices and not too expensive. I had a lot of fun and would definitely come back again! I wish it was a little more affordable though!

Extremely Disappointing and Unacceptable Experience…read more This establishment made what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration for my daughter an extremely upsetting experience. Before our entire party could even enter, the manager, Nick, approached us and stated that only six people could be present, even though only four members of our party had arrived at that time. When I attempted to address the situation with him, his response was deeply disappointing. He initially apologized, but then stated, "I'm not really sorry." That response was incredibly disrespectful, insensitive, and unprofessional. The way we were treated left me feeling stereotyped and discriminated against because we are Black. No family should have to experience this kind of treatment while trying to celebrate a special occasion. We deserved the same courtesy, respect, and consideration as any other customer. As a mental health professional, I understand the importance of treating people with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity. Unfortunately, that was not the experience my family received here. I find this incident shameful and unacceptable, and I intend to file a formal corporate complaint so that this matter can be investigated and addressed appropriately. Customers deserve to feel welcomed and respected, not humiliated or stereotyped. Our daughter's birthday should have been a joyful celebration, not an experience marked by disrespect and disappointment. I hope corporate takes this complaint seriously and holds the appropriate individuals accountable.

Very cozy inside, with lots of booths, tables (high and low) and bar seating. There are also some tables out front in an enclosed patio. For drinks, I had .5 litre of the Oktoberfest, which was cold, and refreshingly crisp and tasty. I also had a pour of the Arran Remmant Renegade Scotch, which was pleasantly fragrant, smooth with little burn. For food, I ordered the Fish and chips. Service was peompt, and the Fish was 2 large pieces breaded nicely and fried on the outside while maintaining a tender and juicy filet within. The fish came with their house special duck fat fries which were fantastic . Most excellent, look forward to coming back and trying another of the entrées

I wanted to love this venue, but the experience was entirely ruined by a combination of incredibly slow and antagonistic service, an unbearable noise level, and a total failure in the kitchen. From start to finish, the evening was a masterclass in how poor execution can derail a nice establishment. The issues began the moment I was seated. The service was excruciatingly slow, and the staff treated every basic request like a massive inconvenience. It is incredibly frustrating to pay premium prices only to be met with a grumpy attitude and palpable disdain from the waitstaff. Adding to the discomfort was the restaurant's acoustics. The space is deafeningly loud, making it an absolute nightmare for anyone trying to have an dinner. Good luck holding a normal conversation here without actively shouting across the table just to be heard over the din. However, the ultimate disappointment was the food, specifically the halibut. The kitchen completely failed in both the preparation and the flavor profile of this dish. A significant portion of the fish was severely overcooked and dry, stripping away the delicate texture you expect from a premium cut. To make matters worse, the dish was smothered in a jam that completely overpowered what little flavor the fish had left. The entire combination was a complete failure of culinary balance. Bottom line: a nice physical space means nothing when the service is poor and the food is a letdown. I will not be returning.

BJ's may be my favorite Happy Hour in the Roseville-Area…read more It's definitely the one I go to the most. This location is pretty awesome, always busy though I don't mind it , I don't look at that as a negative. I love eating at lively establishments. Some of the things I like about the happy hour at BJ's is the $5.00 & $6.00 drink specials. I also love the $7.00 food specials during happy hour including sliders, avocado egg rolls and a 2-topping personal pizza. The pizza at BJ's is so good-I swear they secretly changed the recipe on their pizza in the last year as its taste has improved immensely. The sliders are pretty good as well, I think that's the wife's favorite item. $4 Chips and Guacamole is a steal in this economy. One of the coolest things about BJ's is the fact that the bar area, both the table and booth areas and the bar itself is open seating. So when you walk in and see a crazy wait-check out the bar area, you might get lucky and score an open table. The service is mostly good-only in the rare instance when it's way overcrowded does it get slow but I've always found the employees to be friendly and available. Overall I would definitely recommend this location as they almost always do a great job in making sure I have a great dining experience.

It took awhile for someone to come and to get some menus and water. I ordered the $13 meal that included a cheeseburger with fries and a mini Pizookie. The cheeseburger wasn't that big, but it was enough for one. It was not bad, but not extraordinary as well. The fries were good and our server brought ranch and ketchup, which were both good. I chose the Oreo Pizookie, only because the special S'mores Pizookie was not available in the mini size. The pizookie was delicious as always. Our server had a very friendly and cool personality, but there were several mistakes made and the pace of the entire dining experience was so slow. Some custom orders were not correct, some drinks were brought, and some food items were put on wrong checks. Those weren't too bad, but the slow pace of the meal was just very dragging. We just came from an over 2 hour show and the time we spend at BJ's was way longer than that. Kids were falling asleep. The experience would have been a lot better if the service was faster. This was my third time at BJ's in the last week and a half (different locations) and oddly, each experience was slowwwww.
