When I heard Moksa and Hawks were teaming up, I was beyond excited. Moksa already makes some of the best beer around, and Hawks has long been one of my favorite restaurants in the Sacramento/Placer area. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect since Hawks is known for its elevated dining experience, but they absolutely knocked it out of the park. The food is delicious , the portions are generous, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality you're getting. Pair that with Moksa's incredible beer selection, plus wine and canned cocktails, and there's something for everyone. They also do fun events like trivia and music bingo, which gives you another reason to keep coming back. Whether you're grabbing a beer, meeting friends for dinner, or making a night of it, this place delivers every time. Do yourself a favor and check it out. You'll be glad you did

My local family members said that this place is about the chicken tenders and fries! Did not try or photograph the chicken tenders but will give them a try the next time! For me, I got the double smash sans cheese called the Double Juicy and it was fantastic! The savory garlic aioli and carmelized onions was yum! The garlic truffle fries were also a good choice. It is a little disorganized as they have the complimentary water way in the back near the entrance/exit. The cups are by the pickup area and they are either available or you have to flag someone to get one. Overall 4 stars. We would eat here again when visiting Roseville!

When the waiter brought my drink, I immediately noticed it didn't look like a traditional Piña Colada, and after tasting it, I confirmed it certainly didn't taste like one either. I politely asked if I could exchange it for a different drink. The waiter returned and said the manager wouldn't allow an exchange but would offer me 50% off instead. I explained that I wasn't happy with the drink and simply wanted to order something else. The manager came over and explained that the menu includes a disclaimer stating the cocktails are made with soju instead of the traditional liquor. In my opinion, the waiter should have mentioned that when I ordered, especially since it significantly changes the flavor. I hadn't noticed the disclaimer--I simply ordered what I thought would be a classic Piña Colada. Unfortunately, I was still charged half the price for a drink I didn't enjoy and wasn't allowed to order a replacement. The manager emphasized that it was too expensive for the restaurant to remake drinks, which I found disappointing. I've never had an experience like this at any other restaurant. On a positive note, I ordered the Reuben sandwich with fries, and it was delicious. That was the highlight of the meal. However, the service was also lacking. Our waiter was slow and couldn't answer several of our questions without repeatedly leaving to ask someone else. Because of the poor customer service and how the drink situation was handled, I won't be returning.

After our original plans with another company were unexpectedly canceled, we needed to arrange a last-minute event for 24 foreign exchange students and their families. Victoria O., our event planner, was amazing. She quickly helped us make arrangements and secured three side-by-side bays so the students could socialize and enjoy the experience together. She was kind, flexible, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. When we arrived, our server, Jordan M., was exceptional. Managing a group of 24 students and their families was complicated, especially when we needed to divide the bill among multiple individuals. Jordan handled everything with professionalism, patience, and kindness. He never made us feel rushed or frustrated and continued to provide excellent service while we collected payments & organized the tabs. We truly appreciated Jordan's willingness to work through the billing process with us. His patience made a challenging situation much easier, and his outstanding customer service did not go unnoticed. Most importantly, all of our students had an absolute blast! They enjoyed playing, socializing, and spending time together, and they could not stop talking about how amazing the food was--especially the "American" food. It was wonderful to see everyone having such a great time and making lasting memories. Victoria and Jordan are both tremendous assets to Topgolf. Victoria helped turn a last-minute cancellation into a successful event, while Jordan made our visit smooth and enjoyable. Thank you both for helping make our International Student Exchange Program event so memorable. Our students loved the GameTime, the food, and the entire experience. We are incredibly grateful for your outstanding service, especially on such short notice. Topgolf should definitely recognize these two!

And of course, the beer is amazing! They have a great selection, and their slushies are so refreshing, especially when it's hot outside. This location is pretty awesome, always busy though I don't mind it , I don't look at that as a negative. I love eating at lively establishments. Some of the things I like about the happy hour at BJ's is the $5.00 & $6.00 drink specials. I also love the $7.00 food specials during happy hour including sliders, avocado egg rolls and a 2-topping personal pizza. The pizza at BJ's is so good-I swear they secretly changed the recipe on their pizza in the last year as its taste has improved immensely. The sliders are pretty good as well, I think that's the wife's favorite item. $4 Chips and Guacamole is a steal in this economy. One of the coolest things about BJ's is the fact that the bar area, both the table and booth areas and the bar itself is open seating. So when you walk in and see a crazy wait-check out the bar area, you might get lucky and score an open table. The service is mostly good-only in the rare instance when it's way overcrowded does it get slow but I've always found the employees to be friendly and available. Overall I would definitely recommend this location as they almost always do a great job in making sure I have a great dining experience.

It took awhile for someone to come and to get some menus and water. I ordered the $13 meal that included a cheeseburger with fries and a mini Pizookie. The cheeseburger wasn't that big, but it was enough for one. It was not bad, but not extraordinary as well. The fries were good and our server brought ranch and ketchup, which were both good. I chose the Oreo Pizookie, only because the special S'mores Pizookie was not available in the mini size. The pizookie was delicious as always. Our server had a very friendly and cool personality, but there were several mistakes made and the pace of the entire dining experience was so slow. Some custom orders were not correct, some drinks were brought, and some food items were put on wrong checks. Those weren't too bad, but the slow pace of the meal was just very dragging. We just came from an over 2 hour show and the time we spend at BJ's was way longer than that. Kids were falling asleep. The experience would have been a lot better if the service was faster. This was my third time at BJ's in the last week and a half (different locations) and oddly, each experience was slowwwww.
