We hosted a company event at Waymaker Brewing this past weekend, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. We had the entire place to ourselves for about 70 people for 3 hours. There was plenty of room to walk around, mingle without feeling like in the way, and we had several bays for our employees to play golf on the simulators. The food was amazing, worked with Chef Hunt on what our company would like. We had three sushi boats, two different kinds of chicken teriyaki and cucumber salads. No complaints, everything was delicious. The staff was incredibly attentive/helpful with the self-pour beer taps and kept the space tidy. Everyone was given a bracelet to get their own drinks, which made everything run super smooth. Highly recommend Waymaker Brewing for company parties or large group events. Will be on our list to hold a future event. read more

First time we came, food and service was spectacular. We were raving about it to our friends and invited them to join us. They closed the taps 20 minutes early because they wanted to leave early even though we were willing to purchase a second drink per person. Kitchen was already closed 30 minutes before closing. Great place and great vibe! We love it and can't wait to come with a large party. I love that it's self serve beer and wine. You get a wristband and scan to pour. They have a great selection of craft beers as well as a variety of wines. They have sushi and these mini pizzas that have a sour dough like crust. That's all we had but it was good. My favorite place!! I look forward to my Monday mornings solely because I get to spend an hour or two here. I come here at least once a week sometimes more if I need extra Joni jokes/laughs . It's such a fun environment, Kid friendly-so a great family activity as well. I'm not a beer drinking but they have seltzers and other drinks as well so I can still enjoy the high tech draft system! The staff is also sooooo friendly and welcoming. I always go when Joni is on shift because she is freaking amazing. Joni is the reason I became a member! The experience alone is a 10/10 but staff puts it over. The food has never let me down and I've tried just about everything. Pricing is very reasonable. Took the family for a night out and we ordered hand rolls, meaty pizza, shrimp/lobster rolls. All amazing! Rented a golf simulator for one hour and we had a blast! Service was on point as soon as we walked in. The young kid at the entrance was super helpful explaining everything as it was our first time. I like how you can order as much or less beer from the taps. Able to try different beers without committing to a full beer. Great ambiance vibe and we will be back for sure. It only has he been super friendly when we come in, but he also has remembered my name and all of my different friends names so I brought here, he's even given us some tips that has helped a huge way on the course. I was surprised when I walked in to find a place that at first looked like an amusement park, far from it. Sure there is golf simulators and TV's all over the place, but also surprisingly fun! I loved the tap system that allows you to taste, than decide if you want more. Mainly beers but also wines, cocktails, ciders, and hard ciders but you can taste or drink whatever you want. We also sat at the sushi bar and tried out their dishes. The edamame were seasoned very nicely, Hamachi carpaccio was amazing, sashimi very flavorful, and the rolls very fresh and tasty. They use these fried Japanese rice, that look smaller than whole peppers all over everything and they make everything crunchy. Great experience! Very cool spot with golf simulators and wine and beers on tap. For the golf, you can play an entire round, including chipping and putting, which takes some getting used to. Fun place to get some swings in without actually going to a course. The beer and wine is on a bracelet system, allowing you to pour as much or as little as you want. And they have good beers and wines on tap. But really why I wanted to write the review was about the sushi. I was definitely leery of eating sushi at a golf place. I talked with the guy at the front and he told me it was fantastic and that the head sushi chef was from a sushi restaurant down the street. Well, my friend and I tried it and sure enough it was awesome. Really good and fresh. Would definitely come back here just to eat. And the servers are all great, helpful, and quick. This place is a mashup of so many different things, in the most fun and unique way. Their beer/wine/cocktail selection is probably the best in the area,. The self pour taps allowed us to try a little bit of everything and find what we liked before getting a full pour. The golf simulator was fun for everyone in our group regardless if they played golf or not. And the service was unmatched! Place was fucking fire, i loved the beer selection and concept of pouring my own and paying with the wristband they give. I was skeptical when i found the place only serves sushi which i expected burgers and other finger foods. We got edamame and a blue fin roll and also to my surprise it was really good. The golf sims were booked all day so i didn't get to try that but it looks like a good time. The atmosphere was nice, music was a tad loud but a good time and covered the smack of golf balls. Ok this place is awesome! I'm a bit biased, of course, as I like golf. And craft beer. And sushi haha. All 3 in one place tho ?! The beer selection is actually really great! Good variety of styles and breweries (not the typical stuff you can get everywhere else) and the self-pour at your own pace format allows you to try a bunch of great brews without drinking too much. The simulators are legit, tons of different play styles and courses to play "at." Only complaint is that my brother beat me at 9 holes today The food menu is pretty fun and interesting, and the sushi is actually pretty legit! The first time I visited it was for a large party, and the chefs put together some amaaaaazing sushi and sashimi boats that were off the chain. We came for a date night and was pleasantly surprised especially with the food! The menu is sushi and we're like How good could sushi be at a Golf Simulator/Brewery?? Well, let me tell you, it was freakin amazing!! We had the sunumono salad (cucumber), spicy edamame, spicy bluefin roll, smoked salmon roll and spicy samurai pizza....let me tell you, everything was nothing short of delicious!! If you live in Roseville, or even if you don't, you need to check this place out! They've got a HUGE tv to watch any game plus smaller tv's where you could watch all the other games. I booked a golf simulator here back at the end of August for a group of 8. It was our first time here and they explained how everything worked really well. They have a great selection of beers that you pour yourself. This is nice so you can just get "tasters" of the selection too. Very friendly employees add to the experience! A friend and I went on Thursday morning at 11am. We met the owner, who was very friendly and giving us the Waymaker 101. I watched this place being built since it's my jog/dog route and was happy to see it open. I felt the food was great as we had sushi and pizza, weird I know, but we wanted to try a bit of everything. Tried a few different beers on tap and we played about 2-hours of golf. Everything was great and I will return with some other friends for sure. My suggestion was to have some fans in the simulators since it does get warm quickly especially when you're having beers and playing. I look forward to our next visit and another suggestion now is to download the mobile app "AG Locker". This will help save you time when you arrive and can instantly get connected. Great ambiance, and helpful staff combined with a large selection of self pour taps. 2 things of note, they are not the self pour you may be used to, with these you tap and choose your quantity of beverage you want dispensed. The upside is, that you can still stop it when you want and are only charged for the amount you actually poured. If I had any complaints, it would be that a good number of taps were out. The seating was nice, as was the sushi joint inside as well. I'll be back to update the review a bit later. read more

We went to this place last weekend. Absolutely loved this place! So much fun, cold beer and great Sushi! The only reason I could not give five stars is because the simulator we were using was extremely "off" and they said it may need to be calibrated again, unfortunately we had to play with it being very inaccurate which was such a bummer especially after paying so much! Hopefully they get it all calibrated soon I want to go back! read more

Very cool vibe here! Fun place to come with family or friends or both. Trendy serve yourself beer taps with an awesome selection of beers and other beverages. Staff was friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have regarding their tap system. It's nice so you can try an ounce or two of a beer before committing to a full pint. We ordered 6 sushi rolls to try. I know others have said it was good but I'll be that guy, It wasn't good. It was edible. I'll give them credit for creativity in their rolls but the texture combo didn't do it for me. Avocado on the rolls was more like guacamole squirted on top. I saw a few pizza's walk by while we were there and those actually looked and smelled delicious. We didn't get a chance to order one to try since a small fortune was spent on the sushi. Overall, I would absolutely go back, have a beer, hang out with friends, swing a golf club and maybe order a pizza next time. Pass on the sushi is my only criticism.
