Took the family for a night out and we ordered hand rolls, meaty pizza, shrimp/lobster rolls. All amazing! Rented a golf simulator for one hour and we had a blast! Service was on point as soon as we walked in. The young kid at the entrance was super helpful explaining everything as it was our first time. I like how you can order as much or less beer from the taps. Able to try different beers without committing to a full beer. Great ambiance vibe and we will be back for sure. Fun night out with the family.

Great place and great vibe! We love it and can't wait to come with a large party. I love that it's self serve beer and wine. You get a wristband and scan to pour. They have a great selection of craft beers as well as a variety of wines. They have sushi and these mini pizzas that have a sour dough like crust. That's all we had but it was good. I have heard the sushi is amazing and we can't wait to take the fam and friends back to try it. To top it off the staff is amazing and we just felt so welcome.

My favorite place!! I look forward to my Monday mornings solely because I get to spend an hour or two here. I come here at least once a week sometimes more if I need extra Joni jokes/laughs . It's such a fun environment, Kid friendly-so a great family activity as well. I'm not a beer drinking but they have seltzers and other drinks as well so I can still enjoy the high tech draft system! The staff is also sooooo friendly and welcoming. I always go when Joni is on shift because she is freaking amazing. Joni is the reason I became a member! The experience alone is a 10/10 but staff puts it over. The food has never let me down and I've tried just about everything. Pricing is very reasonable. If you come regularly GET THE MEMBERSHIP, it is so so worth it!! Couldn't recommend Waymaker more.

I've been hearing a number of times and dammit OK golfer, but I gotta say when I've been here when Kayden is working, it's been such a great. It only has he been super friendly when we come in, but he also has remembered my name and all of my different friends names so I brought here, he's even given us some tips that has helped a huge way on the course. This is a great place to visit, and not to mention the great selection of beverages they have.

Staff was beyond friendly and patient showing us around and explaining everything. Golf simulators have multiple games available to play. Pricey to play but worth it for a group. Pizza was so good and the crust was unbelievable and perfect for an appetizer or snack. So many beers to choose from and wine. Cannot wait to return for family night out.

Neat place, unique. Has a ton of taps pay by the ounce so great way to try different beers. They have a sushi bar here too. Never had sushi so tried the avocado roll and mushroom And a golf simulator stations they need to work some Issues out. Out if a lot if beers and the taps pour out very foamy

I was surprised when I walked in to find a place that at first looked like an amusement park, far from it. Sure there is golf simulators and TV's all over the place, but also surprisingly fun! I loved the tap system that allows you to taste, than decide if you want more. Mainly beers but also wines, cocktails, ciders, and hard ciders but you can taste or drink whatever you want. We also sat at the sushi bar and tried out their dishes. The edamame were seasoned very nicely, Hamachi carpaccio was amazing, sashimi very flavorful, and the rolls very fresh and tasty. They use these fried Japanese rice, that look smaller than whole peppers all over everything and they make everything crunchy. Great experience! Even though you order from a QR code, there was some personalization in service! The sushi chef is great!

Very cool spot with golf simulators and wine and beers on tap. For the golf, you can play an entire round, including chipping and putting, which takes some getting used to. Fun place to get some swings in without actually going to a course. The beer and wine is on a bracelet system, allowing you to pour as much or as little as you want. And they have good beers and wines on tap. But really why I wanted to write the review was about the sushi. I was definitely leery of eating sushi at a golf place. I talked with the guy at the front and he told me it was fantastic and that the head sushi chef was from a sushi restaurant down the street. Well, my friend and I tried it and sure enough it was awesome. Really good and fresh. Would definitely come back here just to eat. And the servers are all great, helpful, and quick. A fun place to golf, eat, and drink.

This place is awesome. We did not try the food, but will definitely be back to do so. We were greeted on arrival and got our wristbands. You pay by the ounce for whatever beer/wine you want. Happy hour is Monday-Friday during the day which gives you 20% off drinks. The place is clean with great TVs and comfy chairs. Can't wait to go back. Kid friendly!

Ask the Community - Waymaker Brewing

    Are there gf options?

On the food side there is, I have not seen it on the beer but there was some other items to drink that showed GF on them.

Do you have to bring your own clubs?

We recommend you bring your own clubs, however we do have a couple rental sets here if you do need clubs.

Is there other food besides sushi/handrolls?

Hello, at the moment no but we are working on getting an oven and we will have personal pizzas for sale.

First thing that happened when we walked in? A few members of the band we were literally about to see that night was just... there. Casually existing. We didn't bug them (we're cool like that), but that alone set the vibe. So yes, you might casually run into your favorite band before a show. No big deal. Now let's talk service. I didn't catch our waitress's name, but she was basically Superwoman in human form. She was serving multiple tables, including the band, moving nonstop, and somehow still checking in on us like we were her only table. Efficient, friendly, on top of everything. The kind of service that makes you immediately relax and think, "Okay, this is going to be a good night." Drinks came out fast and were actually good. Not "this will do before a concert" good. Actually delicious. Strong enough to feel it, smooth enough to order another. We ordered the asada tacos and sliders and both absolutely delivered. Perfect pre-show fuel. No regrets. No crumbs left behind. Goose Port set the tone for the entire night. Great drinks, great food, fantastic service, and a cool atmosphere that just feels right before heading into a show. If you're going to Goldfield, this is the move. Definitely coming back for future concert pregames.

You'd be forgiven for thinking you were in the wrong place or about to make a mistake and put yourself into a sketchy place. We looked around for a more "realistic" entry way not knowing the most realistic entry way is one that looks like a back door to a closed vacuum or furniture storefront. That's exactly the point. You knock. Immediately, the door opens. A man in a cowboy hat looks you over. He doesn't wear a name tag. He doesn't need one. He asks, "You have something to say?" If you've done your homework, and say the right thing, the door stays open. You're in. I do not know what happens if you do not have the word. What follows is less a bar and more a pocket of time. The interior is small but well conceived. The bar sits directly at the entrance, flanked by a few standing guests and several small tables. Beyond that, the space opens up into a lounge with seating for six to eight, and a longer bench-style area for a dozen or so. The walls are dark, the lighting low. It's the kind of place that feels like it remembers what Prohibition was, even if most of us never lived it. It felt like walking onto a movie set where we might be extras, and the main characters would enter and play out a scene. It was a perfect example of a speak easy in full swing. Even the glassware was legitimate. The decor is intentional. Books tucked into corners. Stags mounted on the wall. Nothing feels store-bought or trendy. It's immersive without trying too hard. The seats were not overstuffed contemporary types nor were the tables or even foot stools. They all looked like they came from a speak easy back in the day. About the only thing that did not look like the real thing were the patrons, as they were dressed casually, and of course the iPhones. I suppose that would have caused quite a ruckus during prohibition! Conversations are constant, layered over each other and laughter. It gets loud, but not obnoxious. There's a rhythm to the space that holds. My suggestion is to not go at 7pm on a Saturday and hope to get a prized table, couch or seat. Now, to the drinks. House Divided serves anything you ask for, but they lean into the theme. Classic cocktails done right. Throwbacks with historical lean. Creative new entries like lavender martinis that aren't just gimmicks. Each drink feels made by someone who knows what they're doing and takes pride in the process. This is not vodka-soda speed bar territory. It's craft, and it shows. I did not see a bottle of ocean spray anywhere, but what I did see were large glass bottles labeled with the juice or concoction held within. The little details are obvious! If I were to translate my usual framework:    *   Ambiance and Service: 4 stars (it can get loud and if you are here to have a conversation it will be difficult)    *   Quality: 5 stars- I had a simple drink - vodka and cranberry. With something "special" that the tender added. I don't know what it was, but the taste was wonderful! Way different than my standard go to!    *   Value? That depends on whether you're measuring price per ounce, or the fact that you just got to walk through a green door into another world. But in reality, 5 stars. Do I wish for more seating? Yes. Perhaps more quiet? Yes. But if it were those things, would it be the same? No. My guess is going on a Saturday at 7pm is going to be a bit crowded, and loud. That's my fault, and testament to their quality. Next, I found the staff to be great! Even the doorman gave it character, cowboy hat and boots and all! Great experience!

Who doesn't love the idea of a speakeasy?? We decided to head to Roseville in pursuit of a secret place. We found the secret door, knocked, and a young man answered. He asked for the password. Unfortunately I am not on social media and that's where you're supposed to find it. Bummer! I decided to use my own password. It worked and we entered the inner sanctum. It was a cool, smallish place with nice decor. The bar was the first thing we saw. I looked around to see a few tables and couches to the left. It was pretty early and there were only a few people there so we got a cozy little table in front of a velvety couch. I went to the bar where a burly tattooed OG bartender greeted me. I ordered an old fashioned and a raspberry lemon drop. My old fashioned was done very well. I'm on an old fashioned kick right now and love to try them at different places that look like they know how to make them. This one was really good. My friend wasn't so keen on her lemon drop, saying the lavender was a bit overpowering. We had another round and this time she had something different that she enjoyed. My second old fashioned was just as good as the first. It was getting later and more people happened to have the password and it was getting crowded. We were done, paid the tab, which wasn't bad considering how most speakeasy's can be pretty pricy. Overall, it was a great experience, the place was nice, friendly, and the drinks were done well. Give it a shot. Find the password, or use your own if you dare!

We opted to sit in the outside patio area. They have a few tables inside, but if you have a larger party, you'll probably need to go outside. The patio is covered and has a few big fans overhead. They did some renovation over this past winter; I know bc I tried stopping by and they were closed due to it. When I went this past time, the inside looked pretty much the same ( based on my bad/faulty memory). The patio was different bc one side is completely covered, and I noticed a pulldown screen and projector overhead. The menu seemed a bit different this time. No more meatball appetizer unfortunately. Our server was nice and attentive (this time and last). The food: - Spicy Caesar (Romaine, home-made spicy Caesar dressing, home-made croutons, parmesan shavings, cracked black pepper and salami crisps): good stuff. Not really a healthy salad but a tasty one. The croutons are nice and light (not unpleasantly crunchy). The dressing has a nice little kick to it. I'd recommend. - Helena pizza (House-made Italian sausage, salami, pepperoni, San Marzano tomato sauce, fresh basil, fresh mozzarella, pepperoncini, and Parmesan): the pizza crust here is the best in the greater Sacramento area. Hands down. It's so wonderfully light and chewy. I wish they'd use a bit more sauce on their pizzas as they eat a bit dry. And, I think some extra sauce would balance the saltiness of the toppings as well (and, the pizza does eat a bit too salty for my tastes). - Classic Pepperoni pizza (Pepperoni, San Marzano tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella, parmesan cheese): similar experience as the Helena: stellar crust, not enough sauce, and a bit too salty. - Beer: they have a half dozen or so local brews on tap as well as a larger selection of cans/bottles, which include both local and macro brews. Thumbs up. Overall, this is a good pizza place that's worth checking out. I'm only knocking a star off bc the balance of sauce and toppings on the pizza was a bit off. But, I'd still go back!

Located in the middle of downtown Roseville, parking is not hard to find at all as there is plenty of street parking and a nearby garage. The decor inside is stunning. You can see industrial-size equipment for the beer fermentation process, and the dark wooden walls match the cellar theme perfectly. However, we were seated at a small table with bar stools that wasn't very comfortable. It was a warm day outside, so the AC was blasting inside and I got cold very fast. Shout out to my husband for walking back to the car to grab my jacket! We started off with drinks. I got the Thirst Trap mocktail, which was sweet and tart and reminded me of Nerds candy. However, I don't think it was worth the $14 price tag. My husband got the Vernon Street Lager, which was a very tasty beer. For an appetizer, we ordered the Pickled Veggie Jar. It had a great variety of brussel sprouts, onions, radishes, and more that were deliciously pickled. Unfortunately, it took over 40 minutes for our entrees to arrive, so we ended up eating half of this just waiting for our food. Carbonnade Flamande: My husband ordered this braised short rib stew served over mashed potatoes. The beef itself was very good, but the portion of meat was very small compared to the mountain of mashed potatoes. It tasted nice, but for $26, we expected a bit more meat. Moules Frites: I got the mussels cooked in broth, served with duck fat fries and crostinis. The mussels were plentiful and the broth was very flavorful. Overall, the food was decent but the fries were the absolute best part of everything we ordered and everything is on the pricey side. The service didn't really stand out either. There was no reassurance or update on why our food was taking so long. Plus, water was never served automatically, and when I finally asked for some, our server only brought one glass even though we were a party of two. This was not worth the $100 we spent on dinner and I don't think I would find myself back here.
