Spicy Caesar salad, a must try!
Dana A.

I was so excited to try the spicy Cesar salad and it didn't disappoint! Calabrian chili oil gave it a slight kick. We had the pepperoni with basil and the Helena. Loved the thin crusts, but could have passed on the sausage. It's a great neighborhood spot!

Smore dessert calzone- favorite ever!
Krobkal P.

Came here for NYE as a tradition, about 4 years in a row! Staff is friendly, and the food is great. We skipped the appetizers since we saw new pizzas and wanted to save room for dessert. The Stinger pizza was the overall favorite and it went fast! Got the Red Forest as well, the Margarita classic, and the Brocolini. The canoli was popular, and so is through affogato, but this is one of the few places I'm aware of that have the smore calzone- and I eat that by myself lol. The craft beer choices are also nice- have selections from hazy IPAs, ciders, and stouts (my favorite) They have games on the tvs, so good for game folks and can get lively!

Heard a lot about this place. It's tucked in the corner of the strip mall and seems like a great local spot to hang out. Started with their seasonal salad with persimmons, pumpkin and blue cheese which was an interesting but flavorful mix. Then got a pizza with half stinger and Helena. The Calabrian chili was just mildly spicy. The pizza has a nice thin crust and flavor. Service was good. I would return

I've had good woodfire pizzas in the past but this one is special. There's a uniqueness that sets this pizza apart from a lot of other specialty pizzas that i've tried. This place is like a blend between Tony's and Golden Boys in SF. After reading their website, it looks like the owner studied at a reputable pizza school in Italy. When you go out of your way to learn from the best, in an effort to lay the building blocks properly, you deserve a raving review. This pizza is so good! Their crust, the flavor, and ingredients really sets them apart. A little pricey but definitely worth it considering the premium level that this pizza operates at.

Gluten free margherita pizza

I was happy to find a quality pizzeria while visiting Roseville. I'm pretty picky when it comes to pizza and it's even harder with a gluten intolerance but they do a great job! They make really good thin crust Neapolitan style pizzas, their salads are great also and they have a delicious gluten free crust which can be a bit difficult to find. I definitely recommend! Only addition to their menu that would be great would be some clean bottled options for root beer and ginger beer.

Fig n pig? (5/5) with Quattro formaggio (4/5)

Fig n pig (5/5) - love the play of flavors Quattro formaggio (4/5) - so creamy dreamy and unctuous but you definitely something on the side to break it up a little to cleanse the palate My new goal is to try everything on this menu!!

Helena pizza

Started off with the Caesar salad. It was perfect - just the right amount of dressing and cheese. The croutons were even better - just the right amount of seasoning and crunch. The broccolini pizza is hands down the best flavor combination. The crust was had the right amount of chew and it wasn't thick. Definitely going back. 10/10 recommend.

Amazing food margarita Pizza was the best I've had to date . Shrimp app had plenty of flavor almost want to drink the sauce . Definitely going back

Broccolini was delicious
Sarah A.

Broccolini was delicious. Lots of garlic, with a good balance of fresh burrata cheese. The goat cheese was a bit strong but I like goat cheese. Dough was a highlight with the perfect chewy texture. Definitely makes me want to come back and try the other pizzas they have. Minus one star because we ordered for pick up, waiting 50min, came on time and the pizza wasn't done. We went out to walk around for 5-10min, came back and our pizza wasnt put in the warmer when it was ready and had gotten cold.

Front is The stinger, back is Ali's Special with baked prosciutto on top!
Monique E.

My bestie and I were craving some pizza and she recommended Flour Dust Pizza. Friday night, so it's a little packed but we were seated quickly. I got "The Stinger" and she got "Ali's Special" both were delicious!! I think I liked hers more just because of the all the different flavors put together! We paired it with a good drink and our server was kind and friendly! Ambiance was nice and can tell it's very family friendly! Would definitely go back to try the other pizzas especially the salads.

Chicken Milanese Sandwich
Jason T.

Heard many great things about this place and decided to try it on a Friday night. Walked into a packed house and was seated almost instantaneously. There's always bar seating too if you're into that. We ordered the Ali's special which consisted of ricotta, goat cheese, mozzarella, pistachios, red onions, spicy honey, and Parmesan. If you aren't interested in a typical red sauce slice, this is definitely the way to go. The server recommended adding prosciutto and having it cooked along with the pizza. The result was spectacular. The ricotta and goat cheese paired so well with each other, and the prosciutto became crispy just like bacon. The only thing I could say is that the pistachio flavor was quite muted, but it was by far one of my favorite pizzas in a while. We also tried the Chicken Milanese Sandwich which the server recommended since it would be leaving the menu soon. It was delicious, but may have had too many Calabrian chilis in it. But man oh man, the sandwich came with a side of these crispy smashed potatoes, and I have to say these were the star of the show. They were so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside that we asked the server for a side of potatoes to take home. If you do decide to come, the smashed potatoes are a must have. The atmosphere is lively and exciting, and all of the staff members are unbelievably kind and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

Kids cheese pizza
Steffany I.

It's been a while since our last visit and the pizza is delicious as always. Nicely charred and crispy. They continue to have rotating seasonal items, as well as the well known favorites. They are still busy as ever! We came on early on a Friday evening and there was about a 15 minute wait. Service was great with friendly and attentive staff.

Italian take on s'mores !! need I say more!

First thing that happened when we walked in? A few members of the band we were literally about to see that night was just... there. Casually existing. We didn't bug them (we're cool like that), but that alone set the vibe. So yes, you might casually run into your favorite band before a show. No big deal. Now let's talk service. I didn't catch our waitress's name, but she was basically Superwoman in human form. She was serving multiple tables, including the band, moving nonstop, and somehow still checking in on us like we were her only table. Efficient, friendly, on top of everything. The kind of service that makes you immediately relax and think, "Okay, this is going to be a good night." Drinks came out fast and were actually good. Not "this will do before a concert" good. Actually delicious. Strong enough to feel it, smooth enough to order another. We ordered the asada tacos and sliders and both absolutely delivered. Perfect pre-show fuel. No regrets. No crumbs left behind. Goose Port set the tone for the entire night. Great drinks, great food, fantastic service, and a cool atmosphere that just feels right before heading into a show. If you're going to Goldfield, this is the move. Definitely coming back for future concert pregames.

You'd be forgiven for thinking you were in the wrong place or about to make a mistake and put yourself into a sketchy place. We looked around for a more "realistic" entry way not knowing the most realistic entry way is one that looks like a back door to a closed vacuum or furniture storefront. That's exactly the point. You knock. Immediately, the door opens. A man in a cowboy hat looks you over. He doesn't wear a name tag. He doesn't need one. He asks, "You have something to say?" If you've done your homework, and say the right thing, the door stays open. You're in. I do not know what happens if you do not have the word. What follows is less a bar and more a pocket of time. The interior is small but well conceived. The bar sits directly at the entrance, flanked by a few standing guests and several small tables. Beyond that, the space opens up into a lounge with seating for six to eight, and a longer bench-style area for a dozen or so. The walls are dark, the lighting low. It's the kind of place that feels like it remembers what Prohibition was, even if most of us never lived it. It felt like walking onto a movie set where we might be extras, and the main characters would enter and play out a scene. It was a perfect example of a speak easy in full swing. Even the glassware was legitimate. The decor is intentional. Books tucked into corners. Stags mounted on the wall. Nothing feels store-bought or trendy. It's immersive without trying too hard. The seats were not overstuffed contemporary types nor were the tables or even foot stools. They all looked like they came from a speak easy back in the day. About the only thing that did not look like the real thing were the patrons, as they were dressed casually, and of course the iPhones. I suppose that would have caused quite a ruckus during prohibition! Conversations are constant, layered over each other and laughter. It gets loud, but not obnoxious. There's a rhythm to the space that holds. My suggestion is to not go at 7pm on a Saturday and hope to get a prized table, couch or seat. Now, to the drinks. House Divided serves anything you ask for, but they lean into the theme. Classic cocktails done right. Throwbacks with historical lean. Creative new entries like lavender martinis that aren't just gimmicks. Each drink feels made by someone who knows what they're doing and takes pride in the process. This is not vodka-soda speed bar territory. It's craft, and it shows. I did not see a bottle of ocean spray anywhere, but what I did see were large glass bottles labeled with the juice or concoction held within. The little details are obvious! If I were to translate my usual framework:    *   Ambiance and Service: 4 stars (it can get loud and if you are here to have a conversation it will be difficult)    *   Quality: 5 stars- I had a simple drink - vodka and cranberry. With something "special" that the tender added. I don't know what it was, but the taste was wonderful! Way different than my standard go to!    *   Value? That depends on whether you're measuring price per ounce, or the fact that you just got to walk through a green door into another world. But in reality, 5 stars. Do I wish for more seating? Yes. Perhaps more quiet? Yes. But if it were those things, would it be the same? No. My guess is going on a Saturday at 7pm is going to be a bit crowded, and loud. That's my fault, and testament to their quality. Next, I found the staff to be great! Even the doorman gave it character, cowboy hat and boots and all! Great experience!

Who doesn't love the idea of a speakeasy?? We decided to head to Roseville in pursuit of a secret place. We found the secret door, knocked, and a young man answered. He asked for the password. Unfortunately I am not on social media and that's where you're supposed to find it. Bummer! I decided to use my own password. It worked and we entered the inner sanctum. It was a cool, smallish place with nice decor. The bar was the first thing we saw. I looked around to see a few tables and couches to the left. It was pretty early and there were only a few people there so we got a cozy little table in front of a velvety couch. I went to the bar where a burly tattooed OG bartender greeted me. I ordered an old fashioned and a raspberry lemon drop. My old fashioned was done very well. I'm on an old fashioned kick right now and love to try them at different places that look like they know how to make them. This one was really good. My friend wasn't so keen on her lemon drop, saying the lavender was a bit overpowering. We had another round and this time she had something different that she enjoyed. My second old fashioned was just as good as the first. It was getting later and more people happened to have the password and it was getting crowded. We were done, paid the tab, which wasn't bad considering how most speakeasy's can be pretty pricy. Overall, it was a great experience, the place was nice, friendly, and the drinks were done well. Give it a shot. Find the password, or use your own if you dare!

Located in the middle of downtown Roseville, parking is not hard to find at all as there is plenty of street parking and a nearby garage. The decor inside is stunning. You can see industrial-size equipment for the beer fermentation process, and the dark wooden walls match the cellar theme perfectly. However, we were seated at a small table with bar stools that wasn't very comfortable. It was a warm day outside, so the AC was blasting inside and I got cold very fast. Shout out to my husband for walking back to the car to grab my jacket! We started off with drinks. I got the Thirst Trap mocktail, which was sweet and tart and reminded me of Nerds candy. However, I don't think it was worth the $14 price tag. My husband got the Vernon Street Lager, which was a very tasty beer. For an appetizer, we ordered the Pickled Veggie Jar. It had a great variety of brussel sprouts, onions, radishes, and more that were deliciously pickled. Unfortunately, it took over 40 minutes for our entrees to arrive, so we ended up eating half of this just waiting for our food. Carbonnade Flamande: My husband ordered this braised short rib stew served over mashed potatoes. The beef itself was very good, but the portion of meat was very small compared to the mountain of mashed potatoes. It tasted nice, but for $26, we expected a bit more meat. Moules Frites: I got the mussels cooked in broth, served with duck fat fries and crostinis. The mussels were plentiful and the broth was very flavorful. Overall, the food was decent but the fries were the absolute best part of everything we ordered and everything is on the pricey side. The service didn't really stand out either. There was no reassurance or update on why our food was taking so long. Plus, water was never served automatically, and when I finally asked for some, our server only brought one glass even though we were a party of two. This was not worth the $100 we spent on dinner and I don't think I would find myself back here.
