I found this place on social media where there were numerous claims of being either the best "NY…read moreStyle" or "local pizza." The gas station/mini-mart adjacent location had me skeptical as did the signage. Still more claims of greatness intrigued me to give it a go. And that authentic unsliced Pepperoni looks more than legit. Verdict? Meh. Sorry. And, ~$30! While the pizza does have a discernible NY pedigree in terms of flavor and ingredients I would drive an extra mile to Celestino's where the pizza is materially better, you can dine in, get slices anytime not limited days and hours, and can order many other delicious items like meatball subs, garlic knots, and salads. Or, better yet, you can join the crowds waiting for their $9.99 freshly cooked Costco pie at two equidistant locations. Costco pies aren't NY or culinarily noteworthy, but they aren't frozen or from a chain popular with the stoner crowd either. They are an incredible value. Wanted to love Johnny's, but not worth a special trip. If we lived closer, I might reconsider as the service and staff were excellent.

Let me start off by saying the staff was so so friendly and so nice and so helpful. We came here on a Saturday evening around 2 PM and were served by these two very nice girls upfront. They gave us really good deals and showed us the sizes of the pizza and what they like or recommend they were so nice. We ended up getting three pizzas, two garlic, cheesy breads, and of course I had to try their brownie pizza. Everything was so fresh and so good. We were so hungry. We didn't even have time to take pictures. It was so good. We ate every last bite of it. I couldn't believe it. It was very fresh ingredients, I love the mini pepperoni cups They do on the pepperoni pizza. They also were able to add pesto Drizzle on top of my pizza with fresh garlic And I got to choose different sauces on my pizza as well which made it extra good. Everything was so crisp and yummy. This will definitely be our new favorite spot whenever we're in the area again. We came from a card show grand opening in Folsom so this was definitely the right decision to come after a busy day. Definitely check this place out. The deals on the pizza are also very good and fair considering how expensive pizza places are this is by far the best deals. We can't wait to keep coming back, thank u again to the staff for throwing in extra sauces and breadsticks for us it was very sweet and a great experience for our first time.

I ordered the Hawaiian, and I can honestly say it was hands down the best pizza I've ever eaten. The Detroit-style crust was incredible: thick and airy on the inside, perfectly crispy on the bottom, with those amazing caramelized, crispy cheese edges that make this style of pizza so good. The Hawaiian was the perfect combination of sweet and savory, and every bite was packed with flavor. The crust alone would be enough to bring me back, but the entire pizza was outstanding. Motorhead has officially raised the bar for pizza for me. If you're anywhere near Loomis, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. I'll definitely be back!

This family joint has great pizza, dozens of American food favorites, healthy salads, a hand made soup of the day, lunch specials, a decent 12 draught beers selection and reasonably priced good quality wines. Sound like a dream? Wake up! It's reality. It's Al's Original. My first ever visit. We ate a Cesar salad, a small pizza, a giant slice of chocolate cake. I'm not a pushover for reasonably priced restaurant food quality. I expect goodness, real flavors. Al's delivers big time! This eatery has been in this same location for 31 years because the food is way above average, is reasonably priced, has a pleasant dining room and the servers are great. Friendly, kind, helpful, cheerful. Bambie & I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner tonight. We had some left overs to bring home. Oh boy, reheated pizza for breakfast! Love you Al's. My new favorite restaurant in Roseville. Addendum: Returned 8 days later for dinner. I had the chicken, Bambie had the Fettucini shrimp with creamy sauce. Both dinners were excellent. I drank the Original Al's pale ale. It's delicious, too.

A mixed experience that overall will keep us from returning. Our first time, and we were wondering…read morewhy we hadn't heard much about it, though we live only 10 minutes away. Bottom line is, I can't recommend it. It all started out just fine. It was a beautiful day, perfect for sitting out on OAR's patio. It's certainly not much of a view, as you're quite literally part of the parking lot. But the chairs were very comfortable, and even though there's a large garbage can adjacent to the eating area, it generally seemed clean. It all began in a way that led us to think this was going to be a great experience. We were met by one of the most pleasant and helpful servers ever - Tami. She was terrific, and she explained a bit about the history of OAR, and it's recent name changeover from Pete's to Al's. We started with the included salads. Mrs. had the house salad with blue cheese dressing; I had the Caesar. Both salads were surprisingly large and excellent. Larger than we expected, with cold, crisp ingredients and top-notch dressings. Totally enjoyable. 5-star. Because we were first-timers, we over-ordered a bit so we could taste several dishes. We ordered the fried calamari. Tami correctly assured us the coating was crisp, and it was. The problem was the calamari itself. It was tough and chewy, not particularly pleasant or tasty. After our 5-star salads, the calamari was a 3. Then came the mains. Mrs. had the shrimp linguini, which she pronounced: "good." The shrimp and pasta were cooked to just the right textures. We took home the leftovers. The dish was a solid 4. I had a full slab of the St. Louis ribs, and honestly, and sadly, they were a disaster. They arrived barely above room temperature. They were so tough that even with the provided sharp steak knife, cutting off an individual rib was difficult. The BBQ sauce was mediocre, and slathered atop a cold slab of tough pork ribs, the dish simply should never have been served. I'm guessing it was prepared yesterday and kept overnight in the refrigerator, but who knows? You do not want to order the ribs. I tried two ribs and left the rest on the table to be cleared away. I'd give them 1.5 on Yelp's 5-star scale. I don't want to dwell on a negative experience. There are quite a few positive Yelp reviews that make me think there might have been an explanation for our experience. But the tab with a 20% tip was $105.66, and I'm not willing to risk returning.

I personally love the thick crust and my wife prefers thin so we get two mediums each time which leaves plenty of leftovers the next day. We always couple our pizzas with a side of wings - honey garlic is what we get (I don't get a say). The meats and vegetables are always fresh and flavorful, the sauce is tasty, and the crust is perfectly baked. What really makes it stand out is that these pizzas are not greasy - there is never an oily mess on your plate when you eat. And maybe it's age, but I just don't get that post-meal sick feeling I used to get when I ate other pizzas elsewhere. What tops it off is that the family owned and operated and they are very nice - a real plus because we like to spend locally.

Located in the Renaissance Creek shopping center and in a very busy strip mall at the intersection of Douglas Blvd and Sierra College Blvd in the east Roseville/Granite Bay area, this place has been serving up delicious classic pizza, curry-styled pizzas, wings, small bites, and desserts dating back to late-2019. Parking here is not too difficult to find as this particular business neighbors a spa/yoga studio, a poke restaurant, and a dental office. I ended up calling in my order around 5:30pm on Saturday 6/28/2025. After narrowing down my selection, I ordered a small (10") size of their "Tandoori Chicken" pizza (priced at $17.99 as of 2025) After arriving to the restaurant (roughly 20 minutes later), my pizza was ready for pickup. The interior of this place is very open and spacious while the mural and artwork flow freely amongst the tables. I remember coming here for a private Yelp Elite Event and was quite impressed with the layout of the interior. Going back to their pizzas, they have a very nice assortment and variety of craft curry pizzas that include Butter Chicken, Palak Paneer, Aloo Chaat, Chicken Masala, and much more. They also carry your every day classic pizzas including Combination, Hawaiian, Mexican Pesto, Veggie, and much more. I will say that the amount of options can satisfy all taste buds for the pizza lovers. After making the 15 minute drive back home, the aroma of this pizza was making me feel so tempted to open the box and enjoy a slice on my drive home. But I waited and once I got into my house, I took my first bite of the Tandoori Chicken pizza and was absolutely impressed on every level. The spice level was subtle and mild while they did not skimp on the chicken. And for this being a "small" sized pie, the amount of food with the crust, cheese, and toppings were well worth every penny. All in all, "Curry Pizza House" in Roseville earns a unanimous 5 out of 5 stars from me. The unique twist of alternative ingredients to traditional pizza is an innovative and creative idea as this can be a staple for many people. I also wanted to say that this particular location has very generous hours of operation being open Mon-Fri 10am-10pm and weekends from 11am-10pm. They also have a ton of location in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Texas, and Georgia with more states on the way. Great pizza, friendly staff, and decent prices!
