While we were waiting, I had a low blood sugar, so my husband grabbed me a soda from the fridge while we waited for someone to come back to the counter. When he went to pay for it, they told him it was on the house. Such a simple act of kindness that meant a lot. The best compliment I can give is that I've been sneaking the leftover breadsticks straight out of the fridge, cold, and they're still delicious. The ranch was amazing too. My wife and I decided to give Pop's Pizza on Stanford Ranch a try and ordered a medium veggie pizza, thinking we'd have plenty left over for later. That plan didn't last long. Estimated time was 45 minutes on a week night. 15 minutes late, 30 minutes late, I get it on a busy night. 2 hours and 45 minutes later I get my order delivered which was cold. I got non stop updated BS excuses on the delivery drivers ETA through text. Delivery driver gave our order to someone else. Unacceptable! As a manager or owner, I would be embarrassed and make it right. Not a free cold extra order order of soggy chicken wings. The positive is I can see if the pizza would be 5 stars if it was hot. So we found Pop's when we were in the area taking the kids to the adventure park, and my friend was reading reviews, and people were saying they made their own crust and it was bomb. There are a ton of other pizza spots in the area, and even her husband was like why don't we just go to mountain mikes? But she wanted the homemade crust, and she was right! First off, when we arrived one of the staff was outside and opened the door for us, always such a nice gesture and doesn't happen all that much, was quite the gentleman. Good vibes right off the bat.
