I went in early the day of our party and pre-ordered all the food and drinks and spoke to the manager about the time line. 3. The room comfortably held our party of about 25-30 people with no issues. 4. It was clean and they graciously added a table for the pizza and other food we ordered. 5. We were able to decorate the room. 6. The staff was very nice and attentive during our party. 7. The food was brought out on time and was very good. 8. Campelli's has some of the best breadsticks we've ever had! The restaurant is close to our kids daycare and we've heard good things about them but just never visited. We came early Friday evening and it was pretty empty. We ordered at the counter and got the breadsticks and Meat Mercado. The breadsticks were amazing! We got it cheesy and it was perfect. The crust was thick, buttery, and crispy. The added cheese made the breadsticks even better. Our kids loved them and devoured them! The pizza was also great, with tons of toppings and the similar crust. The service was great. Inside was fairly clean and lots of space. They even had a separate party room available. First time here and it won't be the last. Pizza was great. Could have been a little crispier to my preference but that's okay the taste is amazing and fresh. The salad was not wilted at all like most places and the herb crust on the chicken gave it a great flavor. The star of the show was most definitely the wings. They are perfectly crispy and soft on the inside spicy BBQ was amazing. The service was great constantly asking if we need things, very attentive and on top of it. We dinned in around 9pm tonight. The cashier looked like she hated her job- terrible customer service. We figured- it's an hour before closing, she must be tired. No biggie. We have pizza every Friday night. Campelli's is more expensive but has been out go-to when we feel like splurging on a special selection instead of the local pizza chain- we always get a medium camp's combo for hubby, large cheese/pepperoni for the kids, margherita for me, pepperoni rollups and a salad with extra extra extra ranch (the best ranch!). Kind of pricey but yummy and always had a great experience. Buuuut.... They must have changed ownership, didn't recognize any of the staff and it was a terrible experience. Completely disorganized, waited 35 minutes at the store AFTER the original pickup time. Watched the same experience for another 4 people who arrived. Each interaction was "yea, sorry. Give me 5 more minutes." Over and over. The lady in front of me eventually found out they hadn't even put hers in the oven after like 20 minutes of waiting after the original pickup time. The staff didn't seem to show any real concern for the customer experience. While waiting, was able to watch the staff work. They grabbed the same order tickets over and over to see what's on them, opened and closed the same pizza boxes and the oven multiple times to see what was inside and kept shifting boxes around. Yes, it was busy, but it's a pizza place on a Friday night- they need to organize their processes and train the team on their roles and customer service. There was a guy swinging around the pizza peel. He wasn't very tall and the peel was nearly touching the floor. Ew. It could have been that it was just cold by the time I got home, or my overall frustration, but my margherita pizza just wasn't as good as it has been. The salad croutons were different, the ranch wasn't as good. Oh- and I had to turn back around halfway on my way home- they forgot the kids' pizza. "Sorry." and a shoulder shrug. It was the service that was the real issue. Had the team seemed to care and taken care of customers (oh my gosh, so sorry, we are still working out the kinks here, can I get you a soda while you wait?) or a coupon for a next visit to try again.... Or some consideration and acknowledgement?? I'd probably be more willing to give it another go. It's was a slow Monday afternoon about 1:30 pm, my husband and I visited Campelli's Pizza and only one couple was in the restaurant. They left shortly after we arrived. We had the place to ourselves. The restaurant staff was very friendly, one person we saw. She helped us complete our order. This was our first time here, recommended to us by a friend. The pizza was excellent. We loved the crispy crust and the freshness of the toppings and the price. We could not have asked for a better tasting pizza and for that I rate them 5 stars. But the ambiance was wanting. The tables needed cleaning, our table was sticky with food and sauce, even the utensils were greasy looking. We wiped down the seats and the table to remove food from them before sitting. The decorum is dated and raggedy. The place could benefit from a facelift and a deep cleaning. I don't understand it. This place should be full of folks just for the pizza, but the look of it is off-putting. Work on that. Great place to get takeout. Very nice and friendly staff. Come on step it up a little! I love this place! The deep dish breadsticks with pesto and cheese are amazing! Perfect combination of cheese and pesto, both of which had excellent flavor. You can order with or without pesto. I enjoy mine with a side of their homemade ranch. The combination pizza was loaded with toppings. The sausage was nice and thick and onions were cooked perfectly. Crust was brushed with either oil or butter which I enjoyed dipping in ranch. Sad day, I lost my favorite pizza place. They are under new ownership, and the two guys behind the counter, they are more interested in their own conversation than customer service. I giving them 4 chances, each time walking in, there's no hello, no welcome in, no, how are you, I stand at the cashier, waiting, and waiting until they finished their conversation, and when one of the guys come to the cashier, there's no eye contact, no smile, it's like he's doing me a favor. Even when they hand you the pizza, they don't even look at you, no thanks, no see you soon, they just put their hand out holding the pizza waiting for you to take it while deep into their conversation. The last straw was I called at 11am placing an order for a personal meat mercado, the guy said "30 minutes", yep, that was all he said. I arrived at 11:25, I waited at the cashier, than told the guy my order, he answered angrily "I told you 30 minutes", what is this, a Pizza Nazi? I told him "it's ok, I'll wait", than he goes back to his buddy and they are locked deep into their conversation. 11:30 arrived, 11:40 arrived, I see them taking out a pizza, but it wasn't my order, 11:50 on the clock, I asked the other guy, "where's my pizza", he replied "what pizza"? The guy that took my order came out of the kitchen, I asked him what happened to my order, now they are talking in their language what happened to my order. No apology, he just said, "I'll make it now", I said no, it's 12pm, I placed this order at 11am, I've been sitting here in front of you for 30 minutes, nobody bothered to check on my order or wondering why I am sitting here for 30 minutes. The Lunch Specials available weekdays 11-3 are a great deal. On 1/11/22, I ordered a personal pizza of Camp's Combo. I found it strange that the restaurant was out of Italian sausage before the end of lunch, but perhaps there was a pandemic shortage then. When I chose ground beef to be substituted in for the sausage, I was then offered a choice between unseasoned ground beef or seasoned taco meat (Mexican style). I went with regular unseasoned ground beef, and they ended up rolled into delightful little meatballs. A great personal pan pizza. Perfect crust to me. I decided to try a cannoli and was happy that I was allowed to purchase just one. However, I now understand why you'd buy more than one because the cannoli was surprisingly small. It was about the length of my finger, and when I measured it, it was about 3 inches long. I really should be using the tape measure on my waistline instead of eating a cannoli! Given it was winter when COVID transmission is at its peak, I would have expected staff to be wearing masks, but he wasn't. That made me a bit uncomfortable, but no one was eating indoors and I was only interacting with one pizza guy. I imagine it must be stuffy to wear a mask with hot pizza ovens running. read more
