I have ordered Primos for delivery several times. Every time I get the pasta and on the menu it states it comes with either a soup or salad, every time I order it they never bother to ask which side I would like. I usually don't say anything or ask for the side but this recent time it really sounded good. We had asked the cashier if the pasta comes with a side of soup and she said yes so we asked for it to be the side. Come to delivery the driver shares that they tried to charge us extra for the soup that comes with the pasta, thankfully the driver was very understanding and did not charge us for the soup. The food overall was good, the soup was definitely not what I ordered, it was suppose to be minestrone but it tasted like minestrone with other random stuff in it that I know doesn't come in a traditional minestrone soup. My husband and I have eaten here twice and both times the experience was 10/10. Atmosphere: Pizzeria with high top, low top and bar seating as well as outdoor seating within a tent to shield you from rain- not sure if the tent is up in the summer. Nice paintings on wall typical of an informal Italian restaurant. Everything was clean. TV's both indoor and outdoor for sports, news, etc. Feels like a family owned restaurant rather than a chain restaurant experience. Service: Upon entering, we were immediately greeted with a smile and asked what our table preference was. We sat at a low top table and were promptly provided menus and beverages. Our order was taken timely and our meals were delivered in the expected amount of time that it would take to prepare fresh meals. This is not a fast food spot so expect to wait a little while for your amazing food to be prepared. Food was delivered hot. Our server checked back with us to make sure everything was good and that we had everything we needed. We didn't have to wait for our bill and the server gave us a Togo box when she came to collect our payment. Food: Quality and quantity did not disappoint. We have ordered the Chicken Piccata, Pasta Gorgonzola and the Golden Eagle BBQ Burger and all dishes were amazing with generous portions. We also tried the Primo's Twisties which are delicious, soft small garlic/cheese bread twists. I did not take a picture of the burger or the Twisties the last time we were here but am posting pics of the other two dishes (we ordered the Picatta both visits). I took half of my food home both times we came here and last time my husband took half of his burger home because we had the Twisties as an appetizer. This visit, we didn't order an appetizer and he was still barely able to finish his Piccata. They have draft beer and my husband ordered a glass of Hazy Little Things which he said was pretty good and had just the right amount of foam. We wanted to try a couple of different dishes here before we tried their pizza. So far we love everything about this place and will definitely be ordering a pizza next time we come in. My family has been going here since before Primo actually existed when the owners managed Original Pete's down the street. When they came back and opened Primo, we had to support them. They always had the hospitality aspect perfect, and Rula is so sweet and friendly. I like their salads and pizza options. My only complaint, and it has only been the past few months, and I think a trend since I have noticed this with other pizza places as well, is that there is suddenly too much cheese on the pizza. Now I ask for light cheese, and it is just the right amount (not really light, but what would have been normal a year or so ago). I hear the other food is good, but I always come for the pizza. I also like that the owners clearly care about who they hire. The waiters take time to get to know their customers. We have had a few "regular" waiters over the years who get to know our orders and will sometimes have our drinks out for us as we get to our table if it's not too busy. It creates a friendly ambiance, and I love the recent update to the menu comparing Primo to the Cheers theme song, because that really is how it feels, so if that is something you value, and you like pizza, you need to try out Primo! read more

The food is very good. I'm a pizza guy and the have great pizza and are wonderfully accommodating to special orders, just the way I like it! Ambiance is a little higher than the rest for a cozy dinner at a grill or pizzaria. Best part is that they include community oriented decorations, local youth sports teams, etc. Service is beyond excellent! Whether you want prompt, clean and friendly service at a table or prefer to sit at the bar and watch a game and chat. Things have changed here and not improved unfortunately. We've been coming for years and this visit was not what we expected. A starter salad was ordered and it seemed to have been preassembled and sitting in the refrigerator judging from the temperature. It sadly included iceberg lettuce and cold, flavorless tomatoes (which lose their flavor in the fridge). There were 3 in our party and one person ordered the jalapeno chicken sandwich as he usually does but it was not as expected. Instead of a chicken breast, there were tenders now. Disappointing. He noted that the sandwich did not taste near what it once was and despite requesting NO CHEESE, it arrived with provolone slice. Another entree ordered (hamburger with bleu cheese) arrived WITH a slice of provelone(?) on top of the bleu cheese! This detracts from the flavor of the bleu cheese. Additionally, the provolone did not seem to bring any distinct flavor benefit, so it was removed. The other pasta entree was ok. Wine ordered was in stock and tasted good. The service was as you would expect in a small, casual restaurant. Unfortunately, my credit card was charged $1 more than I signed for. Is there a new "service fee" I'm not aware of? I tipped using the card plus additional cash. We will probably go elsewhere now. There are many great options nearby. read more

The service was amazing but the food not so much. Been going to this restaurant for a long time, quality has definitely gone down. Ordered spaghetti bolognese and fettuccine today for lunch. Bolognese doesn't have canned mushrooms and bell peppers and sweet tomato sauce like this did. The fettuccine definitely needed more seasoning, very bland. Maybe ownership changed since the last time i went there, IDK. Very disappointed today with the food quality, $46 for two entrees is a no for me for lunch and no cocktails. We come here pretty frequently and the food is always tasty. But the service is hit or miss usually. Never rude or anything like that, just unfortunately the last 3 times hasn't been it. We constantly had to go inside to ask for things, silverware, drinks, to order our food. We love this place but really wish they staffed appropriately. Some of the heaters didn't work outside and they only have 1 table inside for large parties (7 people) so that led to us eating outside and it was raining. Before I start, this review has nothing to do with the owner Rula...She is awesome and always make you feel welcome. We have been going to primos for years but tonight the waitress was extremely rude and not friendly at all. My husband wanted to replace his burger patty with a chicken patty and she said it would be $7.99 more. Just to exchange to chicken ? ? Really ??? So we had a steak sandwich and is was so full of grissle I couldn't really eat it and when she asked "everything ok?" I told her about it and she "sorry" and walked away. So rude. We usually get pizza and will not make that mistake again and we WILL go back again but not sit in Maisi's section for sure. Hanna the girl bussing was extremely nice though while clearing our table. I've lived in Roseville for over 20 yrs. and I apologize to Primo for not coming sooner. I'm here now after a friend had referred me. The 1st visit was for take-out. Unfortunately, my wife and I had called multiple times during the evening to call-in our our order and no one answered. I risked a chance driving to the location and there was a sizable crowd dining and waiting, but even standing at the bar after being told to place me order at the bar. I can see many employees passing by me with no words, a young girl near the register, phone ringing non-stop, but she was socializing with the bar people. Kind of an immediate turn off and I was about to walk out the door. Patiently I waited and finally placed by order in on the Thunder Burger and Primo Club, which I brought home. My wife and I enjoyed the food, it was very good, but is pricey $15.99 for each. A few days later, early afternoon, I returned to try and order a pizza. Luckily, the crowd and way less than previous visit. Ordered the margherita pizza regular crust $24.99 I think it was for a medium size. Again, the price is considerably expensive for a medium pizza, not a large or extra large. Don't get me wrong the food is very good and compliments to the cooking staff. Will I return, that is still out for the jury to decide and I will recommend to other friends/family, but forewarn them about the pricing and if they call in the evening and no one answers the phone. The business is open, but something is failing on their end for not answering the phone. Just know I am just providing my personal experience as a newbie. read more

We love Primo's. Even though we now eat vegan, they still have good choices; veggie pizza with no cheese is very flavorful (that crust!). Lots of salads to choose from as well. For non-vegans, the top of the list is their Cheesy Garlic Twists, the pizzas are delicious, their steak salad is really good. They have a great selection of wine and beer. We loved the burgers and fries we ordered. The pizza was great too. My choice of spinach artichoke dip was our least favorite. It was a great outdoor dining experience but a bit crowded so when we were not eating, we made sure we had our masks. Servers were wearing masks and paperless menu was available. However they took payments usual way. They had a big fans with water mists which were very helpful as temperature was high. We were just in the area. The service was not very good, one of the items ordered was not brought to the table until we were all nearly done eating and one of the people in my party had to wait to get her drink order taken for nearly 30 minutes. I have Primos pizza problem the prices don't match Pizza Margarita A classic taste of italy! we combined the aroma of olive oil, garlic & italian herbs over our pie, topped with slices of tomatoes, fresh basil, feta and mozzarella cheese. Small 12.99 Medium 14.99 Large 18.99 X-large 20.99 When getting to the restaurant I was charged 2499 for my pizza and they had stated that the price quoted here is incorrect. I feel as a business owner They should be on top of their prices and the ads that they have out there so that they are correct and people understand the correct prices. Prime rib sandwich (supposed to be like French dip) had a small amount of shaved beef, tasteless soft French roll, flavorless au jus and horseradish. Pizzas also leaned on the bland side. Looks like a fun small environment inside with some decent seating options in a covered area in the front. Makes for a nice family establishment.
