A good variety of toppings selection. You can also get a couple of complimentary sauces/ drizzle for each of your order. The staff were very pleasant, super friendly, and cool! We were offered water to drink while waiting for our pizza. The wait wasn't too long either. This place is a good stop for a quick bite to eat. It's a good option than greasy fast food places. Pretty weak pizza. Almost no sauce or topping on both a cheese pizza or the caspian (which came basically as a cheese pizza due to so few toppings ) the crust was burned on the bottom of both pizza as well. The grime on the floor and where the stall walls meet the floor tile appeared to have never been cleaned. It was quite disgusting. Today I was dreaming the whole day about pizza and finally after work I went to the web site to order. There were some errors so I couldn't place an order then I called the store and finally did it. The lady who took my order didn't hear some ingredients I asked for so I had to repeat again. My food was ready soon, which made me even more excited to enjoy my dinner at home. When I started to eat my pizza I found that they didn't give me my 4 or 5 sauces which I asked on the side. My pizza was delicious but I honestly didn't find at all some ingredients which I wanted and asked for. I really went upset because I was so excited and I got not really what I expected... Any next time I will want to eat at MOD pizza I will only come and place an order inside and I will have to wait there because I can no longer trust them, you need to control what they are putting in your order. The "Campus Oaks" location of MOD Pizza, in Roseville, CA is one of five locations in the greater Sacramento area, as this chain of restaurants has a footprint across the United States, numbering over a hundred stores. The Roseville location has been in operation for a little over a year and serves menu selections and custom-made pizzas all for the same price. MOD Pizza is located in the Campus Oaks Town Center, a relatively new - 2021 - shopping center in west Roseville, CA, on Blue Oaks Blvd. The restaurant features a comfortable patio that is dog friendly, so you can bring your favorite friend along with you to enjoy the great cuisine. Today, Friday, October 20, 2023, I "opened up" the restaurant at the 11:00 in the morning opening time, and there were only two other diners waiting in line. With a popular restaurant like MOD Pizza, I purposely visit during light traffic hours, so I don't annoy fellow diners with my photo taking. It's kind of like Disneyland as you're funneled down an aisle and fenced in by guardrails. But, later in the morning as the lunch crowd arrived, I noticed the line moved quickly and efficiently. As you're directed toward the order counter, you'll notice the menu on the wall. The menu advertises "Any toppings one price" which is true, as you only pay for the size of pizza your order. The restaurant showcases a unique and "on demand" style for their pizza, which means that for the same price, you can place as many toppings on your pizza as you want for the same price, and you can enjoy whatever variation of pizza you desire. The price is driven by the size, but the toppings and condiments are unlimited. With restaurants, MOD Pizza offers a truly unique format. From the "MOD Classic" section of the menu, I went with a "Calexico" pizza, which sounded both unique and delicious. For the same price, you can order a build-your-own pizza and choose from over 30 toppings, but since today was my first visit to MOD Pizza, I decided to stick to the menu. Unlike other restaurants, the finished pizza looked EXACTLY like the pizza pictured on the menu. I have to hand it to MOD Pizza, as that endeavor rarely happens in the "real world." The restaurant offers two sizes of pizzas, the "mini" with a 6-inch crush, and the "MOD" on an 11-inch crust. For only $2.00 more, the "MOD" is a no-brainier. All pizza crusts are pre-made and are very thin, but hold up well. "Calexico" features red pizza sauce, grilled "buffalo" chicken, mozzarella, pickled jalapeno pepper slices, gorgonzola - an Italian cheese on the salty side - and it's drizzled with hot buffalo sauce. All toppings were added to the crust as I watched, then the pizza was placed in the oven, and five minutes later, I was ready to enjoy. The foundation of every pizza is the crust, and although this crust was pre-made, it was thin, crispy and held together well. I thought it was on the bland side, but everybody has a different taste and all together, it was a good, solid foundation for my pizza . The mozzarella and the gorgonzola were melted together perfectly, with chunks, long with bits and pieces of chicken in the cheese. The pickled jalapeno slices were placed on top, which truly added to the taste. The hot sauce was drizzled over the pizza to add a little spice and lots of flavor. The restaurant advertises this pizza as "spicy," but to me, it was "just a little bit." If you desire heat, visit your local Thai or Indian restaurant! This pizza was unique, as I've never enjoyed a pizza with this combination of toppings, along with the gorgonzola cheese. The cheese was melted perfectly, the crust was crisp, crunchy and perfectly baked, and held together well. All toppings worked together to made for a delicious, unique pizza. The pint of Mind Haze IPA served as my dessert, and as a way to enhance this delicious pizza. The pizza was hot, fresh and simply delicious, the service was fast and friendly, and the attractive dining room was clean and comfortable. The 10% military discount was an added bonus. I LOVED my pizza, and the friendly staff. However, I only have to go with four stars for my review, as the crust was pre-made, the restaurant is part of a change, and the atmosphere was a little on the "corporate" side of the fence for my taste. I truly prefer an individual "mom and pop" restaurant, as opposed to a restaurant that's part of a chain. But, that's just "me" so don't let my comments deter you from enjoying the delicious pizza at MOD pizza, located in Roseville. read more

I'm giving Mod next to Nugget Market on Blue Oaks five stars. Husband agrees (Note: the pizza is best eaten in. Taking it away it doesn't travel so well.). First the employees (today is 12/9/22 6pm) are super friendly and professional and the employee on the pizza oven is super fast and friendly as well!! The Mod pizza was enough for two to share and toppings were generous. (Sorry about the pic- we ate it so fast!) The crust was awesome. The vegan pizza gets 5 stars! The service gets 1 star. Average: 3 stars. I called on the day MOD was supposed to be offering a promo for buy 1 plant based pizza and get one free, but they didn't have the plant based sausage because the delivery never came. They said to call back Thursday. I called back Thursday and asked for it and they said it arrived but wasn't yet defrosted so I'd have to call back tomorrow. On Friday, I looked for the plant based sausage on the website, as well as on the app, and it was on neither. So I called to order. The employee who answered the phone was super rude and told me I couldn't place an order over the phone. I HAD to use the app or website. I explained that I had tried that before calling but that the plant based sausage wasn't available on either place. He replied, we don't have plant-based sausage very rudely and matter of factly and almost hung up on me. I had to go through the whole story of how I had been calling all week waiting patiently and that it was supposed to be ready today. He put me on hold, talked to someone else, and then came back and said they had it and took my order (still rudely). The pizza was actually really good and if they get it on the website so I never have to deal with an employee there again, then I'll support this restaurant. The staff are friendly, the food appears pretty fresh, there are lots of topping options, and what's really nice are the finishing sauces they offer. I'm partial to the balsamic fig. There are also various crust options for folks who are counting carbs or those who are gluten intolerant. I like the original crust, but I'm glad they provide the healthy options, too. I sometimes like a provolone and/or cheddar option to top off my pizza, they don't have it, but they do have Asiago and ricotta, so I'm not gonna complain. The inside is homey it looks like they took a blaze and switched up the artwork. IT LOOKS SO SIMILAR. My family and I queued up to order. It took about 10 minutes before we all got our pizzas and our table. We had fast service! I got a cheese pizza OBVIOUSLY. At MOD they call it a Maddy. I got the medium size called MOD and the price was $9.83. They add lots of sauce. That's my favorite way. They made a crispy crust and it was thin. I didn't get a drink. The staff got exactly what we ordered. I've read other reviews and some of them were 1 or 2 stars. But I disagree. Better than Round Table and Dominoes. But my favorite is Papa John's. But this is about MOD. I didn't go to the bathroom, but my brother did. He said there was some toilet paper on the floor. So he rated it 3.5 out of 5 on his scale. It was a little crowded so we had to sit on the bar stools. It was a little uncomfortable. The table was clean though. There might have been some crumbs on the ground, but it's a pizza place... That's normal. After eating it we grabbed some boxes and left. It looks like any other MOD. If you like salad, I would recommend the create-your-own salad. I never met the owner... MOD Pizza delivers in all the ways that are important to us. The food and prices are fair. One price, unlimited toppings, great selection. They do not skimp on the toppings, cheese or sauce. We love that they offer herbs as well as flavored drizzled toppings like balsamic glaze, ranch, etc. If it's not too busy, they bring our pizza to the table instead of just calling our name. It is ready really fast, usually a couple of minutes. Time to get a drink and sit down. The ambiance is relaxing. The employees are always smiling and seem to enjoy working there. We usually go in at a time between lunch and dinner and avoid the crowds. I always have to have a No Name Cake as well. They are always fresh and delicious tasting. I like that they change up the flavor sometimes although the chocolate is always good. I always enjoy eating at this establishment.
