Picked up a pizza and politely asked for cheese and pepper. The "owner" said he would not give it to me because I ordered on door dash. Didn't offer to sell any and wouldn't even let me pay for some once I inquired. Pointed to a sign inside that said free 2 liter soda on orders over $25 ... and he said that doesn't apply to door dash. I told him I didn't ask for soda just some cheese and pepper and he still refused. Go to the pizza guys website the Ui and ordering experience is not as easy as ordering through an app. Won't be back. My family and I are very big fans of pizza guys. It's conveniently located in the same shopping center as Raleys supermarket off Lincoln Boulevard tonight me and my family had a craving for some pizza so we ordered a large half pepperoni half combination and they told us to be ready in about 20 minutes plus if you ask them for the deals, they will always give you a coupon to give you a better deal. This is a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere. We love coming here whenever we're craving pizza they're fast efficient and they make really good pizza. Plus they don't have pizza. They also have wings, garlic bread, salads, and much more if you have not tried them. I would highly recommend checking them out at pizza guys.com. Great food great greatest establishment. So I have seen this pizza place randomly in Oregon! Now I am seeing it here in Lincoln as well. So.... I had to give them a fair shot! I ordered through Door Dash as it popped up to be fairly close. I ordered the all meat pizza with their garlic sauce! It was fabulous. Definitely in my top 5 for pizza places. These Guys lol didn't disappoint. The pizza was hot and full of toppings! I know we've all gotten that pizza delivered that has barely any sauce,cheese and the toppings are pretty skimpy! Not this time! I opened my box and was in ahhhh of how yummy the pizza looked! There was enough toppings on my pizza probably to make two! Now that's what I'm talking about! A place that isn't stingy on their toppings! Lol I am serious as I bite into my wonderful hot pizza. Boring, pedestrian pepperoni pizza. The crust was ok. The cheese was bland. The sauce was bland. The pepperoni was bland. And honestly, I just don't get it. Don't the owners taste their product? We normally have no serious issues with this establishment, but today's order was sorely disappointing. We ordered the new "Cheezee Bacon Rolls" and received glorified cheese logs with a cracker crust. There was too much cheese to eat and no balance amongst the ingredients. The advertisement led us to believe they would be rolled together, as one would with a cinnamon roll style food, with a good distribution throughout the product. NOT, as we received, a glob of cheese wrapped in a thin breading. They are completely inedible. The included photo is a direct comparison between what was advertised and what was received. Update: I spoke with the owner and was very satisfied with his response. He identified the cause of the issue and offered to replace the "Cheezee Bacon Rolls". Great customer service! We ordered pizza last night with a 45 min wait time. Almost an hour and a half goes by and no pizza, when we call to check on it they kept telling us he was almost there, we finally canceled the order so we could get to bed. All of the employees were very sweet and apologetic during this. Then today we get a call letting us know that the refund went through and an offer to deliver us our order tonight free of charge. Worked at a different Pizza Guys location for 3 years, always thought this chain has has the best ingredients. If its like my location was, they make the dough fresh. Best with pink sauce (garlic & marinara mixed together, other pizza places hate when I ask for this) and order yours baked for a little while longer if they let you. Personal sizes are perfect for one person and they get crispy without baking longer. I think some people are just complaining because of a mistake in an order or something. Yeah, I was a kid when I worked at a Pizza Guys too and we made mistakes in orders all the time. Doesn't change the fact that the pizza is delicious.
