    Weed Rips seltzer. Delicious
    Susan R.

I really love stopping by Moonraker for a beer or seltzer after hiking near there. They also have really good food trucks there. This time I tried their new seltzer called Weed Rips. It was very refreshing and had a great flavor. They have a great patio and they are dog friendly.

The Czech dark lager paired excellently with a burger. I'm sad that they don't have this available in cans to take home.

I appreciate that Moonraker Brewing always has multiple styles of brews for most tastes. I appreciate that someone like me who appreciates a malty, rich brew but not bitter brews will always find something to enjoy here. It was hard to choose between the dry Irish stout on nitro vs the Czech Dark Lager. Both taste incredibly *good*. Visiting Moonraker always leaves me with a happy, satisfied, smile as I feel like I've been served the nectar of the gods.

It had been a while since we been back at Moonraker . This beer and brewery is still one of my top 5 breweries. Their beers are definitely craft beer u can taste the quality and care in the making of these beers . Walking in to this establishment it was massive! They have a lot of areas available for private parties . If you are thinking of a private party this would be a great idea . Their outside patio has so much space too . They have Food Trucks and live music on certain dates . It's so big they even have a private party area outside too . Service - We had the pleasure to meet Vincenzo he was so friendly and attentive. He guided us through our beer flights. He is very knowledgeable and fun . He even gave us tips on where to go for dinner near the area . He is amazing definitely above and beyond on his service . For our beers- They had so much to choose from they offer Hazy, Stout , Sour, West Coast ,Lagers and light beers , mixed Fermentations, and Hard Seltzers . Honestly everything sounded so good we had to get flights . We even tried the Foam Walker and let me tell you it was like an Espresso Martini of beers . Everything we tried was 10/10 and we had so much fun doing it . Overall this place has a great ambiance with the patio lights and the great staff that make you feel welcome . They are kid and dog friendly. They do not sell food but they have food trucks and chips and salsa for purchase. You can see the food trucks rotation on their website and their beers on tap. We can't wait to be back for some more fun and good beers .

We have always enjoyed Moonraker in Shingle Springs and attended a birthday party at this location and we were not disappointed! The service was fantastic, they had plenty of room inside and outside for get togethers, the food was great, and the beer was delicious. This is a great place to come to get a cold one, with friends for a round, or a larger party for a special occasion (call for a reservation)!

Moonraker is one of our favorite spots in Auburn! Our food truck serves here twice a month, and it's always such a great experience. The crowd is friendly and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. Their beer selection is top-notch, with a mix of reliable staples and exciting rotating options that keep things fresh. Whether we're serving up food or stopping by on our days off for a drink, the atmosphere never disappoints. The staff here are some of the nicest people around, and they make working with them a breeze. We're proud to be part of their food truck rotations and can't recommend this place enough--whether you're a beer lover or just looking for a fun spot to hang out, it's worth the trip!

Whenever I visit my parents in Auburn, a trip to Moonraker Brewing is always on my list. If you're a fan of Hazy IPAs, this place is one of the best--they've truly perfected the style. Personally, I prefer lighter beers, and they have incredible options, like their Boho Pils, which was unmatched while it was available. The ambiance is fantastic--spacious, kid- and pet-friendly, with plenty of seating. I've even brought my laptop to work there and had no trouble finding a quiet spot near an outlet. One of my favorite memories of Moonraker is from my wedding day in 2018. I stopped by to ask if I could rent a keg. It's not something they typically do, but I happened to be talking to the owner. When I told him it was for my wedding later that day, he made an exception and let me rent two kegs. That kind of generosity and personal touch is rare and something I'll never forget. Genuine hospitality. If you're ever in the area, make sure to stop by Moonraker. Great beer, great vibes, and great people--you won't regret it!

We came here Friday around 8pm. They close at 9pm but they still let people order more beers. Some even still had a full flight of beers when we left at 9. But I guess they don't kick people out. They had a good variety of beers. We liked the sours, hazies, seltzers, and dark beers. They have an amazing outdoor space! I heard it was created during Covid. Great place for family and dogs.

We'd brought burritos along to have with a couple of drafted pints from Two Ass. This brewery is a bit of a drive from Sacramento, but gosh darn it, I have really enjoyed each of my visits here. (If I lived closer, I'd be a regular, for sure). They have 3 nice, malty choices to choose from, currently. The English porter, the Marzen, and the Festbier. We chose the two heavier malted ones: the Marzen and the porter. Both are very nice and delicious to accompany our food. I had the porter( I love this style)0 but I have to say that the Marzen has to be the best for example of a Marzen that I've ever had. It is that good. I also got to see and choose a couple of their brewery logo stickers. I find them good fun. I like to cover up the corporate logos on any swag mugs and water bottles with these and make them cool to carry around. Again, I was so glad that our mellow, well-behaved husky was allowed to hang out and chill with us as we enjoyed our beers while listening to the music.

This was such a cool find!…read more We came to town for a family members birthday party and wanted to stop by a brewery for lunch and check out the area. The place was way bigger than what I was expecting! The parking lot is huge, and it was packed! You order your beverage and food at the bar and they pour you your drinks and give you a pager for the food. I was impressed to see the food was coming out of a food truck for how large the venue is. I was drinking the Mexican lager, served with salt and lime. I thought it was super tasty, I liked it a lot. My husband was drinking the hazy ipa which had a pretty high percentage, I believe like a 7.5%! It was surprisingly easy to drink and fruity. Food we ordered the BLT and it was served with house made pickles and potato salad. The potato salad had cheddar cheese inside it, I like that twist. I ordered the pizza pretzel and at first thought $18.50 is pretty steep pricing for a pretzel but let me tell you, the pictures do not do the size justice. It is literally the size of a pizza! So big, covered in mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. Came with plenty of dipping sauce too. I loved it, it was so fresh and delicious, and perfect to share! I had more than half leftover to take home! Check this spot out it was pretty rad, they had live music and the vibes were great! We could've hung out here all day perfectly content.

Here's the hard truth, Hillenbrand has really good food and good beer. However, they are chasing away families left and right. Kids are not really welcome at all. The signs posted make it evident. The best seating area is marked with 21 and over on each and every table. I get it. Sometimes it's nice to have an adult only night out. However breweries in the area should decide who they want their customers to be. On a Thursday evening, it should really not be an issue for a family to have a nice night out. The highlight of our night for me was drinking beer out of a plastic cup. For the second round we asked for glassware, but were told we had to buy the glasses to have glassware. When we turned that down, we got a sales pitch for the monthly stein program. Sorry! For the monthly amount they want I'm pretty sure the winery around the corner has a better deal. We also asked if we could bring in our Hillenbrand glasses that we already have the next time to use and the girls behind the bar had no answer. The best part was when the bartender handed over the plastic beer cups and said enjoy your plastic. So the question is, next time we go out on a Thursday night to enjoy a beer and food is it going to be Hillenbrand or the 3 other breweries in the area. Also the girls behind the bar gratefully filled us in to the fact that Hillenbrand is not a brewery but in fact a bar. Too bad Ron wasn't there tonight. PS our two children were very well behaved and stayed by us the entire time we were there.
