Uptown Porter, English style - A clear pint glass filled with dark beer, featuring a light foam head on top, is positioned on an outdoor table. The background shows a wooden fence and some greenery, indicating an outdoor setting during dusk or evening. The glass has condensation, suggesting the beer is cold.

A friend knows that I am a big fan of maltier beers and recommended I check out this craft brewery. Stopped in and I saw several I wanted to try, but narrowed down my choice to the Uptown Porter, which was terrific and I ended up leaving with a 4-pack. The staff was notably friendly and we were both welcomed on arrival and thanked for our business. Even though we came in not long before closing with our dogs to enjoy pints on the patio, we didn't feel rushed and it was appreciated. A dog-friendly brewery with malty beers and a friendly vibe? I'll definitely be back and plan on tasting plenty more that they have to offer. I am so glad Auburn has another craft brewery that brings something different to the mix.

Checked out this new brewery when passing through. Amiable owners and interesting building with historical significance, nice remodel! Give this place a try!!

A warm welcome right away. They have everything, from a Pilsner to a Porter. The Maelstrom Hazy IPA was delicious. Great selection of beers. We will be back!

Patio/entrance. - The image shows an outdoor patio with several tables and chairs, shaded by red umbrellas. The patio is enclosed by a wooden fence and decorated with large metal planters filled with green plants. The building has a white exterior with a sign, and string lights are hung above the patio area. The sky is clear and blue, indicating a sunny day.

My wife and I visited on a Friday, and were greeted by Chris, one of the owners and brewers. He was friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable. Although Chris indicated he came from a Tech/Data background, it is apparent he has fully embraced the "art and science" of beer making and brewery development. The facility and especially the beer are representations of his expertise and passion. There is both indoor and patio seating, which is dog friendly. The building is a really cool old/historical structure that has been creatively renovated. We each had a flight, which consists of four, 4 ounce pours. Wow, everything we tasted was clean, refined and correct for the style. They specialize in malt forward beers, but they also have some excellent IPA's. We drove from El Dorado Hills specifically to try this brewery and it was more than worth the trip. I highly recommend adding this destination and their beers to your to do list.

Four beer flight on the patio - Four beer flights are placed on a white outdoor table, each in small glasses with different shades of beer. The glasses are arranged on a wooden tray, and sunlight casts distinct shadows of the glasses and tray onto the table. The background shows additional patio tables and chairs, with some potted plants and a street scene beyond. The setting appears to be an outdoor seating area of a craft brewery or restaurant.

Cute breweries with lots of beer options, flights, and outdoor seating for sunny days. No food options. We got a flight of four beers and liked them all. We'll definitely be back!

What's on tap - A woman with long hair, wearing a black sleeveless top, stands behind a wooden bar counter with two glasses of beer in front of her. The background features a wall with colorful, artistic signs advertising various beers, and a set of beer taps. The setting appears to be a brewery or taproom, with equipment and signage related to beer offerings.

Great beers and service. A nice break from the hop heavy brews. Ambience is perfect. Two TV screens, but no sports (yay!). Good tunes!

Ask the Community - Two Ass Brewing

January 19, 2026 Is this twenty one of age and over place? Do they serve orange juice or lemonade?

Hi Karyn, we are a neighborhood-scale brewery. We welcome families. Minors under 21 can enter with their parent or guardian. As an active and _small_ brewery, we asked that parents mind their kids for safety of themselves and others. Note we do have… Read more

Are dogs allowed in the brewery?

Hi Martin! Well behaved dogs are welcome on leash with their owners in the brewery taproom and patio areas. Note we are a small space, so dogs need to be good with others near by.

This was such a cool find!…read more We came to town for a family members birthday party and wanted to stop by a brewery for lunch and check out the area. The place was way bigger than what I was expecting! The parking lot is huge, and it was packed! You order your beverage and food at the bar and they pour you your drinks and give you a pager for the food. I was impressed to see the food was coming out of a food truck for how large the venue is. I was drinking the Mexican lager, served with salt and lime. I thought it was super tasty, I liked it a lot. My husband was drinking the hazy ipa which had a pretty high percentage, I believe like a 7.5%! It was surprisingly easy to drink and fruity. Food we ordered the BLT and it was served with house made pickles and potato salad. The potato salad had cheddar cheese inside it, I like that twist. I ordered the pizza pretzel and at first thought $18.50 is pretty steep pricing for a pretzel but let me tell you, the pictures do not do the size justice. It is literally the size of a pizza! So big, covered in mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. Came with plenty of dipping sauce too. I loved it, it was so fresh and delicious, and perfect to share! I had more than half leftover to take home! Check this spot out it was pretty rad, they had live music and the vibes were great! We could've hung out here all day perfectly content.

So...we are a local family that enjoys going to local breweries. Sometimes it's just us older…read moreadults and sometimes it's with the kids and grandkids. Here's the hard truth, Hillenbrand has really good food and good beer. However, they are chasing away families left and right. Kids are not really welcome at all. The signs posted make it evident. The best seating area is marked with 21 and over on each and every table. I get it. Sometimes it's nice to have an adult only night out. However breweries in the area should decide who they want their customers to be. On a Thursday evening, it should really not be an issue for a family to have a nice night out. The highlight of our night for me was drinking beer out of a plastic cup. For the second round we asked for glassware, but were told we had to buy the glasses to have glassware. When we turned that down, we got a sales pitch for the monthly stein program. Sorry! For the monthly amount they want I'm pretty sure the winery around the corner has a better deal. We also asked if we could bring in our Hillenbrand glasses that we already have the next time to use and the girls behind the bar had no answer. The best part was when the bartender handed over the plastic beer cups and said enjoy your plastic. So the question is, next time we go out on a Thursday night to enjoy a beer and food is it going to be Hillenbrand or the 3 other breweries in the area. Also the girls behind the bar gratefully filled us in to the fact that Hillenbrand is not a brewery but in fact a bar. Too bad Ron wasn't there tonight. PS our two children were very well behaved and stayed by us the entire time we were there.
