This is my parents' current favorite winery local to them and they are always trying to get us to come here for one of Naggiar's weekend concerts. The time I visited previously was for a tasting (in rona times you'll need to make a tasting appointment), but this past Saturday I returned for CCsegeR with a group of family and friends. CCsegeR is a combo CCR and Bob Seger cover band, and they put on a great show. Tickets were $20 if purchased before the show, but they also had tickets available at the door for a bit more. We had made a tasting appointment for 4:15, hours before the show. Our carpool was late so this almost didn't happen, but the nice lady behind the counter let some of us taste a few different wines anyway. Bottles of wine continued to be available for concertgoers to purchase even after the tasting room closed. They also offered a handful of beers on tap during the event, including two local IPAs from Knee Deep and Crooked Lane. I liked the dry muscat, the rose, and the red blend I tried. I felt they did a good job as an event venue. It did get pretty busy around show start time, but there were enough staff to handle it. There were reserved tables and lots of additional space on the grass to set up camping chairs, which is what we did. My worry that there would not be shade turned out to be needless. Also in attendance were three food trucks: Bridge House, Fire Goddess Pizza, and Cousins Maine Lobster. The first two had vegetarian and vegan options, and Cousins Maine had red velvet whoopie pies in addition to various lobster filled things. I had a slice of cheese pizza from Fire Goddess Pizza and thought it was pretty good. I noticed they had vegan pizzas available, whole pie only. The whole pies were medium sized. I would probably come back here for a tasting or one of these concerts they do, if family or friends in the area wanted to join. The grounds and tasting room are beautiful. If you come for a show, come early for the shady grass spots and the good parking. It is not a reliable cell phone service area either, depending on who your carrier is. Check out their website for tasting appointments and the event schedule: https://naggiarvineyards.com/

Been going here for nearly 10 years! Naggiar is run by gracious and grateful owners; first Mike and Diane and now Sean and Mary. My mom first brought me here to taste "good wine" and man, this place set the bar. So spend the money, get the good wine! You won't be disappointed. Also, this is a great place to share with others! Bring a friend to a tribute band concert on a summer Saturday night! Everything from Beatles to Prince to Metallica to Garth Brooks... there's a concert for everyone!

We joined Naggier when we moved to Grass Valley this summer. We love taking our friends there to wine taste and enjoy the wine and the views. We have also had fun at the summer events. The hills are so beautiful - it feels like we're in Tuscany. Of course, we wouldn't have joined if the wine wasn't really enjoyable! The staff was so kind when we celebrated my friend's 60th birthday "Diamond jubilee". We had a lovely picnic and all had so much fun!

Nestled between beautiful rolling hills and endless golden fields is Naggiar Vineyards and Winery, one of my favorite wineries to visit, located North East of Sacramento, Napa, and the San Francisco/Bay Area. I was pleasantly surprised at what a hidden gem this winery was and how close it was to where I live. The drive here is beautiful and if you're lucky enough, you'll see some farm animals on the way in and/or out. First off, as you turn on ROSEMARY LANE, be sure to maintain a SPEED LIMIT OF 10MPH OR LESS to prevent a dust bowl from forming on your way in. It also helps keep your car a little less dusty as well! There is plenty of parking available and it's a short little walk up the driveway. Since there's a pandemic (COVID-19) going on, California wineries and tasting rooms are closed, so call ahead to make reservations and/or check if their outside patio is available. There is an open grass area that overlooks a pond and sometimes food trucks on the weekends. Before the guidelines, they had live concerts with local bands every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through the end of summer. It was always so much fun and can't wait until everything settles down again. The staff is very nice and always very helpful when it comes to carrying your cases of wine to your car. Members get 3 shipments per year and also get to enjoy free tastings. For non-members, I believe they charge $5 or $10/person, which is absolutely very reasonable! My favorite at the moment is the 2017 MAMA MIA! Love, love, love! It's a white wine that's a bit on the sweeter side, but very crisp and refreshing for these hot summer nights! For all the other wines, you definitely won't go wrong with any others as the owner of the winery prides himself on having the best wines in the Auburn area! Overall, you will not regret coming to this beautiful winery. Bring some snacks and have a picnic or hang out on the outside patio! It's a gorgeous venue and the wine is absolutely amazing!

I absolutely love this winery! Such a special local gem. They always have something fun going on every weekend. So if you want a beautiful place to celebrate or just a relaxing date this is the place! I love that you can bring your own food! And those of you that prefer beer they have beer available when they have events!

Amazing winery! Not only a great place with fantastic views but also comprised of a very welcoming/helpful staff. Their wine is VERY good as well and enough options to please your taste. They also have beer on tap and delicious food trucks that come around. The live music events are a must go if you like the outdoors ambiance! Overall Mary and Shawn make sure the place gives everyone who visits a wonderful experience!

The picture of this location is a tad deceiving but the view from up top was absolutely stunning ! I'm sure back then it was awesome but it needs some major renovations & some major cleaning. My husband suggested this winery which was our 1st time visit w/ family. I think we were all a bit taken back by the tasting room which was run down , the only organized room was the wine on the racks , the bathroom was dirty & eeeeek :/ & very cold ! Our wine host was not present when we arrived & we did have a reservation. I can't remember his name but he was genuinely nice but he came in from the vineyard & wasn't like your typical wine host you find in Napa, Plymouth or Livermore or Auburn/Newcastle, Paseo Robles . I will simply say that if you're a wine snob this is definitely not the place to venture too. Once again if you're a wine snob the wines will probably not be appealing to your palate. The wines are decent, we did purchase a sparkling which was the best out of all the ones we tasted. I don't like sparkling wines & this one was fairly decent. Remember your 1st impression is also your last impression upon entering the impression has been made & your mind has already been made up ! I didn't take picture of the inside, Please visit the wine bar not the actual vineyard .

Which makes me sad and such because Amador/Jackson is nearby and they are an old favorite Zin haunt for me... I mean well over a decade now. Anyway, the wine is... Not to my taste. Just.... No depth, no big CA kick, just... just what it is. Which isn't super great. I really wanted to like it. I mean you got some pool time drinking wine. But nothing to pour and curl up with. Nothing to to serve and romance with. Sigh. Tasting room was nice and had some live music. Instrumental type, background goodness. Nice staff. I actually feel bad because the wine was just truly not as it should be. Cost was ok for a taste and an experience.

I liked all three of their available reds; all of which had a fruity sweet flavor. Even the port was light and sweet; it did not have a strong alcohol taste. Atmosphere - Beautiful views!! And you can see as far as Tahoe. 13.5 miles off of 80, and you have to drive through some "back roads;" not an easy place to find. Good thing for 4-wheel drive and GPS. One of the few wineries in this area that is open 7 days a week from noon to 5pm; Thank you! Plenty of parking. You can also bring your own picnic baskets. :) It is so nice that you also host weddings here - 8 just last year! Service - Linda Clough (founder) is amazing. As we did not know our schedule today, we did not make an appointment, but I wanted to drive and check out the winery anyway. They let us in with no problems. :) The friendly employee greeted us as we entered the gate and called Linda to meet us at the tasting room. What service! Linda gave us a tasting, then suggested we get a glass while touring the vineyard. Then we relaxed on the patio overlooking the vineyards towards Lake Tahoe. What a great place to take a break from our road trips. We talked about our kids and that they both lived in Southern CA; I will be in Santa Monica in April, so hope to run into you there. :) Oh, and there is a friendly family dog who ended up joining us on the patio.
