Came in for some wine tasting and had a great time! Their sparkling wine was amazing and highly recommend when you are in.

Love, love this winery! Impressed with the first contact on Yelp and the great follow up and through. I called last Friday to inquire if they were going to be open. (CA under major smoke and fire). They expressed not sure, really smokey! Phil Starr texted back 15 min later and said they had a lot of requests to open and they did for the 29th of August. Call ahead of time b/c the fires are cray out there! Try the Chardonnay there is one that tastes similar to Rombauer, excellent wine, we bought two bottles. I don't enjoy Chardonnay very much but this was great and I liked it a lot. They had several others that were great and I bought some reds. The servers inside and serving outdoors in the back were great and very knowledgeable. You can bring food to snack on, just bring your own supplies of course. Great little shop for Knick nacks, wine supplies, glasses and of course their award winning wine. We'll definitely be back next time we are in town.

Wonderful and friendly atmosphere. The Barbera is wonderful. Great spot to relax and enjoy a tasting. Family friendly which is nice. They even have coloring books and crayons for the kids.

Great little winery on Main Street in Grass Valley. Did a Groupon for two. You get 5 tastes each and a free bottle of Petite Sirah.. The place is super cute and was built in 1872. Back in the day half of the winery was a cigar making place and the other half was where they actually sold the cigars. When you walk in you feel the history as you walk on the old floors. The red wine was very good and not to sweet, but bold and somewhat fruity. The Chardonnay was very Oaky and buttery. Sierra Starr Vinyard is a must stop when you are in Grass Valley. I bought the Almond Sparkling wine.... so yummy and refreshing.

Surprisingly, this winery has a champagne on the tasting list (which is the cheapest on the list!) I thought the champagne was very refreshing, but almost a little too dry for me. I skipped tasting any of the red wines, so I can't review any of them. I wasn't super impressed with any of the whites, but none of them were bad either. Tasting is complimentary.

We ordered a house sausage pizza and to add the salami to the pizza which was a great choice loved the pizza we watched it get made right in front of us and their bacon and cheddar melt. I personally though the bacon and cheddar melt was fine I probably wouldn't order it again looking back on it just simply on the fact it was $21 and the pizza was $23 it just felt very boring and overpriced in comparison to the pizza. I do love the sustainability of this place but find it odd the water cups are plastic after all the effort put into reusable, sustainable, organic, and farm fresh It definitely eat here again especially with the fact the menu is always changing the pastries here were a hit every other table had something from the bakery or a pizza. This is a great spot to come on a date or with a bunch of friends. I haven't tried the brews here yet but I'm looking forward to it. The staff here are very sweet and food comes out quickly. Parking is right outside of Three forks and plentiful even on a Sunday afternoon.

I paid because I only had an hour for lunch and needed to eat. I got my mocha and sat down to wait for my sandwich. As I waited, I noticed several people who ordered after me receiving their food while I was still sitting there. About 15 minutes later, I finally received my to-go sandwich. When I opened the container, it was obvious it had been sitting there for a while. The sandwich was sweaty, and half of it was soggy. Apparently, they had forgotten to bring it to me. By that point, my mocha was already gone before I had even started eating. The BLT itself was made on regular-sized sandwich bread, and the tomatoes and bacon were good. But $34 for a basic BLT and a small iced mocha is outrageous, especially considering the wait and the condition of the sandwich when I finally received it. I will not be going back. The prices are simply far too high for what you get.

We were very hungry by the time we sat down due to the long, wait, but it was well worth it. However, that are hunger. I forgot to take very good food pictures. The kitchen and historic charm of the decor hides a quite spacious restaurant that is decorated with historic furnishings, and adorable crayon pictures colored by local children. The menu is varied and has something for everyone. I tried the potato pancakes, which are hashbrowns mixed with cheese and garlic and onions on top with pesto sauce and eggs, and I must say that they were a delightful surprise, crispy and savory and worth every bite. My friends ordered the tofu breakfast burrito at Cuevo rancheros along with the bacon and egg breakfast at all said they were. We chose to share a three person mimosa, which includes a bottle of champagne and juice of your choice to accompany, and it was just perfect for our group. Our survey Anna was very busy, but made sure to check on us after serving the food and made sure that the food was served our liking and responded to every request we had. I would definitely plan on waiting in line on the weekends. They have a self-service waiting list and they will call you - inside or outside- when your table is ready. We waited a full 45 minutes on a Sunday around 11:00 am. Worth the wait, though!

Ambiance is rustic as you are in an old building near downtown but is roomy and clean with lots of seating. Food and drinks: Coffee and iced tea: both good and refills kept coming. Lobster Benedict- 3.5/5. Eggs were overcooked to medium. The hollandaise was spicy but good. Lobster was a little overwhelmed by the sauce and the potatoes needed more crisp and seasoning. Biscuit and sausage gravy with a medium egg- 3.5/5. The egg was perfectly over medium. The biscuit was light and fluffy. The gravy was good but it was ham gravy ...not sausage (just FYI). We would go back and try something different.

Both sides were excellent--the crust had just the right balance of crisp and chew, and the toppings were fresh and thoughtfully put together. The real surprise, though, was the Caprese salad with peaches. It was so unbelievably good that we completely forgot to take a picture before it disappeared. Honestly, it's one of the best salads I've ever had. The peaches added just the right amount of sweetness, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced. By the time we finished, I was completely stuffed, but my boyfriend still found room for the homemade Oreo and mint ice cream. I was too full to try it, but judging by how quickly it vanished, I'm guessing it was just as good as everything else we ordered. The restaurant has a fun, laid-back atmosphere that feels welcoming without trying too hard, and the staff was friendly throughout our visit.
