Fun beer bar in a kinda funky industrial area. Had a Tasty Waves IPA & the Mrs had a Brew Daddy Stout. Both were tasty quality brews. Sat outside under the heaters, cool vibe, bar tender was great. Only open Tuesday to Friday this time of year. 21 only,so leave the kiddies at home. Pizza and Live music Friday's. Will return in warmer weather. A couple was dinning on a pie from Motorhead Pizza, that is in the same complex a few doors down if you have the munchies (on my list to try).

Had the tastiest cocktail I've had in a while - the Hot Stuff- definitely recommend! The bartenders are all sweethearts especially Lauren who served me tonight. Great spot!

Enjoy coming here for a casual meal. Food and beer are always consistent. We waited about 30 minutes - it was busy because of an event. Once seated, service was prompt. Love the Taylor Anne's fries!! We split the Roasted corn quinoa salad with brisket. We will be back.

They offer game night on Friday nights. We lucked out with this Friday being music bingo. Got a couple of beers and grabbed some food from Messy Tacos and Motorhead Pizza. The first card of each round of bingo is free, and any additional card is a dollar. Lots of fun, definitely would come back and try again. This place is adult-only, 21 and over. On game nights I suggest coming early because the parking lot can fill up.

Had a great time at Loomis Basin Brewing (LBB) last evening with friends. Had some great brews (a sampler and a hazy IPA) and played music themed bingo using Shazam. It was fun as there were a considerable amount of people there and everyone was having a great time. The food truck was serving great tacos and burritos which we enjoyed. During the winter months, check it out on Friday nights!

Manzanita and great beer.

Been going here since they're opening. Just keeps getting better. And somehow they still have some of the cheapest beer around. Service is impeccable, and likely one of the owners. Just a small town place making world class beer. You will likely find live music or at least some corn hole going down.

Amazing beer, even better food! I absolutely love this place. The beer is fantastic, but the food somehow manages to be even better! The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere has a fun, laid-back vibe. The BBQ is outstanding, and every dish I've tried has been packed with flavor. Definitely a go-to spot for great food and drinks!

Great garlic fries! Good service attentive beautiful ladies! A variety of local and national beers to choose from! Just a nice local pub and food. Ambiance is low key and friendly, definitely made for family and beer admirers alike.

Fun atmosphere but not good for kids as Yelp says, plan accordingly. Great adult venue with live band.

Exactly what I would expect from a brewery. Smaller, intimate feel. Amazing beer. Friendly and patient service. Highly recommend.

Are they dog friendly?

Hi Amber! Unfortunately, our Taproom location is not (though service dogs are welcome). With the set up of our main seating area, along with having most of our brewing equipment within reaching distance to most of our seating, we have made the tough… Read more

Do you serve wine for your non-beer drinkers?

Hi Gina! While we can provide wine for private events, our license does not allow the sale of alcohol to the public that has not been produced here at the brewery. We do make a hard seltzer though that is a tasty alternative for non-beer drinkers,… Read more

Is Loomis Basin Brewery family friendly? Can i bring my 3 and 4 year old?

Children are not allowed at the brewery. The Loomis Basin Gastropub is probably a better option for you.

It's not a loud, chaotic bar and not a nightclub at all. It's one of those places where you can actually relax, get inspired, feel an unreal vibe, hang out with friends or even just sit and do your homework without anything distracting you.‍ The music is perfect -- great background, not overwhelming. The people who work there are super open, friendly, and welcoming. There's a strong feeling of acceptance and warmth. Even though my English isn't perfect, they were so kind and made me feel completely comfortable, which honestly means a lot. They also recommended drinks, and wow -- everything I tried was genuinely delicious. And the coolest part: if you're not sure what you like or can't decide, they'll let you taste different drinks, which is such a nice touch. Another thing I loved is that you can buy really cool jewelry and interesting little things for your home. Everything fits the same aesthetic -- relaxed, artsy, slightly mushroom-core vibe -- and it all just works together so well. Overall, the vibe is unreal. Super cozy, inspiring, and warm. I 100% recommend checking this place out -- it might just become your perfect spot to spend time, chill, and feel good.

Delicious meal and good service. I was here with a pretty sizable group of my family on a Saturday…read moreafternoon. We were seated in the patio in the shade, so it wasn't too insufferably hot on this very sunny, warm day. Jägerschnitzel is my go-to at German restaurants and the one at Kathrin's is one of the best I've had to date. My plate was generous and the jägerschnitzel was tender, the spätzle was too, and the mushroom gravy that topped the jägerschnitzel was just so good. I cleaned my plate. I also got one of their small pretzels to start the meal and loved how soft and chewy it was, and the mustard had a good punch of spice. I thought it was cool that their pretzels are sourced from a local Bavarian factory. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the dressing on the green salad that comes with the jägerschnitzel. I'm really not sure what it was and can't say I've had anything else that tastes like it before, but it was strong and I was good after just a few bites. However, that wasn't enough to ruin the meal for me with as good as that jägerschnitzel was. While I was only here because I was visiting family who live in the area and recommended this place, I'd be happy to return if my family wanted to come back on a future visit.

We found that they served the dinner menu all day and there was no lunch menu. We ended up ordering the Oktoberfest platter, which it was made up of five sausages, schnitzel, red cabbage, sauerkraut and french fries. 4 of the 5 sausages were extremely dry and over cooked. Schnitzel was dry and flavorless. It seemed as if they had heated everything up in a microwave. Overly hot and very dry. Happy hour started at 3PM and we arrived at 2:45. That would have given us a discount on food and beer. But we figured oh well, our bad for not realizing. We commented on it to the bartender / server, like "oh darn" and he didn't really react. It was not like we expected to get the happy hour prices, we were just commenting. Then, unfortunately, we overheard him talking to two men at the bar, saying "I waited until 3PM to ring up your beers because I wanted to give you happy hour price." Yikes! Why not us? (Only us and these two gents inside at the time. There was a handful of people at outside tables.) We are disappointed because we had enjoyed them before and they are the closest restaurant to us serving German food. The food and the service that day are not very motivating to return.
