She's always on time, honest about the way something looks, and does an amazing job consistently. I walked into this location yesterday because i had a toe nail that chipped ! The front desk young lady wasn't as pleasant as she could have been - she was very off putting. I asked if someone could paint the chipped nail . She asked the Caucasian women in the back if she could do it . She was like, "Get somebody else to do it "! Like-she couldn't be bothered . The color selection for regular OPI which is what I use was smaller than I'm used to. But no big deal. The salon is super clean, comfortable, and not too loud. My pedicure was excellent. This high quality, high service nail shop is in the plaza with the Aldi, Chase, and Lots of Lox. I was able to call in advance and walk in for a pedicure. The staff is very diverse with asians and latinos and the staff is very upbeat and friendly. They are accommodating - speaking english, spanish, and other languages that I could not identify. Lyly took care of me and she is a wonderful person in the salon and outside in daily life as well. She was very delicate and effective in her service. If you couple that with the massage chair experience, then you get the 4 stars. The price of the pedicure including the tip was less than others are charging right now. I would have moved closer to 5 stars, but I reserve that for the entire spa like feel, and this was not a luxury location, but the people and service was above and beyond! One star based on several experiments with Elaine. She doesn't pay attention when trimming cuticles & have left bleeding several times I literally had to start asking her ahead of time to be more careful. I request her because she works quickly and I am often pressed for time however I arrive on time for appointment yesterday at 4 and she is working on someone else and tells me I will be with Anna, I agree but Anna is also working on someone else. I wait patiently 45 minutes & Elaine finishes her client says she can do my nails, starts the acetone soak and pedicure prep when her 5:00 appt arrives and she stops working on me to attend to. Outrageous already because again my appointment was for 4! How did a 5:00 appointment get priority when I have already been there an hour and arrived on time for my appointment?? At this point Anna is with another client & a guy starts my pedicure and by 5:45 the acetone is burning my skin from being left on for an hour...Completely unacceptable and painful. I was out at 6:45 almost 3 hours after appointment completely frustrated with no plans to return. That is not the way to treat someone that comes in repeatedly, tips well, is on time for appointments & understanding of flawed work. Mediocre at best. I made an appointment for gel mani and regular pedi and was out in less than an hour. If you're on a tight schedule then this is the place for you. My tech was done with my pedicure and the tech beside us was still giving a lady a massage. She used nail clippers that were next to the chair so I never saw her get tools from the sterilizer. They never cleaned around my nails so I left the salon with patches of nail polish on my skin. Also, it looks like the gel dryer hasn't been cleaned in a while because dust was stuck in between my gel. The next day, two of my nails already had the gel chipping in large amounts when gel should last at least 2 weeks. Oh, there's a sign that says tips should be in cash but unless you move the plant in front of it, it's nearly impossible to see. And the kid that was running the register was extremely rude and wouldn't even speak up when asking him how much the services were. It's nice that everyone else has had such a great experience. This nail salon is amazing. I love going here. Love the little shopping center and they have great prices. I go every three to four weeks for dip. Ask for Armando!! He is funny and does a great job for dip. Danny is great for acrylics, he always does my sisters nails and she refuses to do them with anyone else. Just moved back to Miami from Boston and was in desperate need for a nail place since my favorite spot is way too far from where I live currently. I was recommended by a friend and figured why not? I called for an appointment the night before on a weekend and had no trouble making it. They took me in right away. I was super lucky to have Danny be the person assigned to me because he did such a great job. I got a dip powder manicure done in under an hour (pretty much a miracle compared to my time in Boston). He was super friendly, cut them the way I wanted, and even gave me a tip on one of my broken nails to keep them all long for me. The color selection for the dip powder was pretty great and I'm so excited to go back already and get another one already. It's been a week since I got them done and there are zero chips and the color is still pretty in pink. The only thing I wish he could have done was spend some more time on the actual manicure itself instead of just the color portion of it. First time customer! Helen gave me a pedicure and manicure. The pedicure was wonderful, and non intrusive. Sometimes places are too rough and mess up my cuticles, making me bleed. But she was careful to thoroughly cleaning and making sure I didn't get hurt. She also was so attentive and patient when doing my acrylics. I asked her to do a design that I whipped up right before the appointment. She took her time and I noticed that when she did something that she didn't like she'd immediately redo it.
