After a hectic day and a failed attempt at a manicure and pedicure over at a fancy nail bar, I stumbled into Fresh Nails and woah what a rewarding experience it was. The first thing I noticed was a devine aroma that scented the location sweetly but not overpowering. Then I noticed they had beautiful and relaxing music playing. Again, it wasn't too loud either. I was a walk-in and was lucky to be seen right away. Jason was my nail technician. He was thorough and spent time carefully cleaning my cuticles and removing my feet callouses. But the amazing treat was the magnificent massage. I don't know how long it was but it was not an after-thought to the pedicure. It was technically correct and precise, apart from being amazing! Jason is the kind of technician that shows great work ethic and truly has pride in his work. Fresh Nails is not production factory. I have been on the serious hunt for an inexpensive Mani Pedi that comes with a good massage. I thought this was 99.9% impossible until I went to Fresh Nail Salon for the 1st time this past weekend upon the suggestion of a friend. I was SO happy with my mani pedi----the lady that took care of me was named Lee and she did an amazing job. Great job with the cuticles and fantastic foot and hand massage. We are talking all the way up to the knees for the foot massage and all the way to the elbows for the hand massage. All of this for just $30! I was in heaven. The only reason why I give this place 4 stars is because my mani pedi started at 10:30 and I didn't leave until noon. So it took a little bit longer than I had expected. Not that I really had much else to do, but I could see where if a person had limited time this could be an issue. Oh, and on Mon, Tue, and Wed they have a mani/pedi special for $28! On the prowl for a mani/pedi on a Monday early afternoon I decided to pull out my handy Yelp app and look for a place nearby that opened on Monday's. I finally found a place that opened on Monday's and close enough to home. I walked in and was seated right away for a pedi. The lady that first attended me soaked my feet and set the spa chair at a comfortable massage tempo while the nail technician finished with someone else. When he finally started on my feet I was in heaven. The pedicure was amazing and he really massaged my legs and feet for several minutes each leaving me feeling really relaxed. Then came the mani and I received the same treatment as I did with the pedi. He did an amazing job cutting the cuticles, painting my fingers and massaging my hands and arms. The location is in the middle of a shopping center but a convenient and easy spot. The price of a mani/pedi is $30.00 and they accept credit cards and I was allowed to leave a tip on the credit card. Overall, I truly enjoyed the mani/pedi and I would recommend Andy and this place. They are opened 7 days a week and open until 8pm Monday - Saturday. read more

We are new to the area, and I needed a mani/pedi. I looked online and found Fresh Nails. After reading the reviews, I was convinced to try them out. The place was a little hard to find since there's construction on the main road and the sign with the business name out front is broken or missing. They accept credit cards, but cash is always preferred, especially for tipping. Andy did a wonderful job on my nails! He definitely knows what he is doing, He takes care of each and every client's unique skin problems. Because everyone is different. I also noticed how many 'regular' clients were coming in. This salon surely has a staple within the community. They treat everyone like family. Fresh Nails is your typical Asian nail salon. The decor inside is very dated. They have the massage chairs for the pedicures like you would see in other salons. Something I noticed off the bat is everyone working here is......older. I was greeted immediately as I walked in and told to pick a color. They had a good selection of colors to choose from. Rose did my pedicure, she spent a long time giving me a massage which was nice. When it came time to do my nails, I was going to do a regular mani but I asked her if they did gel nails. She said yes but I didn't want to spend forever there so I said I'd do it next time. She insisted and said I wouldn't have to worry about it as much because it lasts longer so I said ok. I got the gel nails in a light pink shade like my toes. Rose cut one of my fingers on accident, and while applying the gel, she got some on my skin. She was so sweet though. As I was leaving, she hugged me and said she hopes I come back. I really wanted to love my manicure for her but I was not pleased with the final product. Fresh Nails isn't as "fresh" as you'd expect. They're all hard workers though and you can expect good service and at a good pace ( you get a good massage, they take their time). I didn't think it was dirty, but everything looked old, even the materials! They are priced well though and are very friendly. All in all, I would go back and give it another chance as I'm loyal to friendly faces and hope they'll do better next time. *********** Updating my review. This next visit was great! I came in asking for UV gel nails. the man, forgot his name but he was an older man, put the acrylic mixture of the powder and liquid, didn't use any gels, didn't use any uv lights, and still charged me the $30 for gel nails. When I paid I stated this and he kept insisting they were gel. Not only that but he didn't push back my cuticles and I have giant spaces between the fake nail and my cuticles. It looks gross and cheap. The man who did my nails was in a bad mood from the moment I got there and was very cold. After the appointment I even went to the place next door to ask if my nails were acrylic or gel. I'm not an expert and I could just be tired, but the nail tech immediately said they were acrylic.
