This is such a cute and professional place. I had been looking to try this nail spa for a while but they seem to always get booked, which is a good thing. I love that everything looks clean and organized. My nail tech was knowledgeable and knew exactly what I wanted for my nails. I think a nice touch is when nail salons offer refreshments like coffee or beverages. I ordered a hot caramel latte which was delicious, what made it better was the fact that they offered milk alternatives. The drinks and snacks were included. I loved the work provided on my nails and toes (not pictured). I would recommend trying if you are in the market for a new nail place. read more

I have been coming to Platinum Glam for almost a year now and figured it is time to leave them the glowing review they've always deserved, since every experience has been nothing short of amazing. I normally come to Platinum Glam for my brows, specifically the Platinum Brow treatment with Linshay (who is a total freaking brow artist/genius/extraordinaire honestly) and not once have I been let down with this service. It's a full brow wax, shape and tint service that includes a brow wash and lining. My brows have never looked better tbh. 10/10 if you come to Platinum Glam for anything it's gotta be for the love of your brows. Last night, and a few times over the year, I came in for a mani+pedi (gel x2) and the attention to detail on their nail packages is exquisite. Melany worked on my gel manicure last night and not only was she so sweet, she was meticulous and caring in her mani service. Lilibet provided my gel pedicure and the service was equally top notch, and she was quick too (added perk to me). The place is always super clean and welcoming. All the people who work here are super kind and have a passion for their work. They are truly all masters of their crafts. The price is comparable to most other salons but you definitely get what you pay for here - which is top tier service with excellent results. Every time I've gotten my brows done with Linshay, they last me 2-3 weeks depending on how good I take care of them and my nails always last 3-4 weeks, regardless of who does them. I've been coming to this location for over a year and have always had great experiences. During my most recent visit, I scheduled an appointment with Yaneisy since my usual technicians were fully booked. At first, everything seemed fine, even though she finished much faster than I'm used to. However, after just a few days, several nails began to chip and crack--even though I had gel and structure gel on. My nails typically last up to three weeks without issues, so this was extremely disappointing. read more

Nice salon in Kendall area near Kendall Ale House. This salon is well lit, clean and cute pink decor all around. Staff is friendly and have a family oriented vibe. This salon also offers refreshments ranging from teas to coffees, which is a nice perk. I was happy with my technician overall. Lilibet is my go to for traditional mani and pedis, now and Yari is the nail designs queen. Norma is the most accommodating, the most professional and the most human and kind Nail Salon Manager, I have ever met in Miami. Norma and Lilibet won me over with 100% customer satisfaction and with careful attention to my particular health care requirements. Everyone in this establishment is trained to be inclusive of all, it's hygienic, stations are kept clean, plastic for pedi bowls are available and it smells and looks as GLAM too. The ladies are all careful and licensed nail techs that are fun and marvelous at their profession. The perks included in your service are a variety of refreshments- coffee, tea, mimosas... with assortments of available condiments and cookies to enjoy with, also. So I finally found the Platinum Glam quality care and talent I've been endlessly searching for in Miami for months!! Eternally grateful for Norma and her team. See you again soon ladies read more

I was so excited for this place super close to home and amazingly beautiful! Now the service was not the best people were kind but the girl who did my mani was not the best my toes were good but my biggest request when I went in was a good clean mani and pedi with no polish. This is what my hands looked like... there was still skin under my nails when I got home I had to finish the work as you can still see... not the best work. Wishing it would have been better given it was just the basics and no polish. My toes were ok but again the main goal was smooth and clean and barely a buff. read more

The nails techs are all wonderful. I personally go to Cosette. She truly is a perfectionist. She loves taking off every bit of cuticle and leaving your nails extra clean. The salon looks like an upscale boutique. Wonderful service. Very accommodating. Free beverages and snacks. You can also order from their menu which includes dishes from surrounding restaurants and it will be delivered to the salon. I've also had my eyebrows done with tint. It's a very relaxing experience and my eyebrows always came out great. They only have one lash tech. I wasn't quite fond of my lashes. They looked good but it was the process of getting them done that I didn't enjoy. In fact it was a tad painful. So I get my lashes elsewhere. But you can't find such great nail techs anywhere else. And the prices are pretty competitive. I pay less now than I did when I went to Parisian nails. I love this place! It's on Kendall and 117th Ave. In the same shopping center as the Kendall Ale house. This review has 4 stars because of Yaneisy! She is amazing. She does a great job and is such a sweetheart. The reason I couldn't give 5 stars is because I was charged $25 even after cancelling and abiding by their cancellation policy. I called yesterday and the girl who answered said not to worry because I wasn't charged.. but then today I get another invoice for the same $25. Also, when they went to confirm they had the wrong date on there as well. There should be a better system in place for appointment confirmations and cancellations. read more

I'm pretty new to gel manicures, but I tried a few different salons before going to this one. I was extremely impressed with this salon. Not only is it beautiful, but the manicure itself was top notch. I'm an artist and I pay attention to detail. The detail that went into my manicure was impressive, I dare say it was perfect. And the products used are top notch. I had a broken nail and they repaired it with ease, and didn't use cheap super glue and paper towels on my nails like another salon did (cringe). They also offer beverages such as tea, coffee. Mimosas and snacks, but that's not even the reason why I recommend them. I highly recommend this salon for gel manicures. I made an appointment today at 4:15pm for a gel pedicure. I forgot to mention that I do apres on my big toes. I got there and explained to the blonde lady who was going to do my pedicure that I needed apres. She starts going off on me on how I needed to have said that when I booked my appointment. I totally understand that and it was my mistake but her bad attitude and her rolling her eyes at me was enough for me to get up and leave after she took my nail color off. She kept complaining that she wasn't going to be able to do everything because she had a client after me. The nail tech next to her even asked her, "why can't you just do it?". Even she was questioning her lack of good service. I had enough of her attitude so I decided to tell her I wasn't going to put up with her nasty attitude and bad energy. The receptionist was friendly, she should get some tips from her on how to treat customers with respect. Never going back! read more

Only thing I would say about the business is the ladies are constantly talking on the phone or texting while working, doesn't bother me a lot but sometimes makes the appointment longer than it needs be. This location is very pretty, much prettier than their first coral way location. As soon as I came in I was pleased with their front desk named Shaday. This review is based on customer service and/or lack there of. I moved to Kendall 3 months ago and was looking for a good mani/pedi place near me. I came across this place and thought it looked nice so I made an appt. Big mistake.... Can't even count how many times they wanted me to confirm my appt...so annoying! Nonetheless, I confirmed every time. I arrived right on time and that's where it began. I stood there for a couple of minutes with no one to greet me...finally got noticed and was taken to the station to commence manicure. However, the nail tech was not there so I waited and waited and waited. 20 minutes after my arrival I got up and left. Before I could reach my car I was getting a call explaining that she was finishing her lunch.....need I say more!!! I was on my lunch hour. I wonder if I had shown up 20 minutes late if that excuse would sit well with them. read more

I am currently in the process of canceling my membership due to consistently poor service and a complete lack of transparency. Appointments were scheduled without my consent, and I received excessive calls even after confirming by text. Service quality was unreliable--when my usual technician was unavailable, my lashes fell out within a week, yet I was still charged for a full set instead of a refill. There was a previous receptionist, and with her everything was handled professionally and smoothly. However, since the new receptionist took over, the experience has significantly declined. She schedules multiple appointments (up to six at a time) without any confirmation, often after you have already left the salon. In my case, I completed my payment, left a tip, and an hour later began receiving multiple appointment confirmations that I never approved. This is completely unacceptable. The membership was not clearly explained. Billing practices are misleading, credits do not apply as expected, and multiple add-ons and fees were never disclosed upfront. The new receptionist processes payments differently, adds charges that were never clearly explained, and does not apply credits as originally described, making everything confusing and inconsistent. Pricing becomes excessive very quickly, and even their refill prices are significantly higher than the average cost at other salons for the same service. I also experienced unprofessional and inappropriate behavior from front desk staff regarding my payment. After completing the official cancellation form, I attempted to send it via text to the number they repeatedly contacted me from, but my message would not go through. I then tried calling the same number and discovered I had been blocked. This is extremely unprofessional and raises serious concerns about how they handle customer communication. I did send my cancellation request via email, but based on numerous similar reviews, I am very concerned about continued charges despite properly requesting cancellation. At this point, the cancellation process feels intentionally difficult and deceptive. The number of complaints about ongoing billing after cancellation raises serious concerns about potentially fraudulent business practices. As a business owner myself, if I ever charged a client mistakenly, the situation would be resolved immediately, same day. I still have not received a call back, nor do I expect to. My bank has been notified of the fraudulent charges.

My usual nail tech was on vacation and I came here due to positive reviews on Yelp. I had a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. One of the nails on my left hand was applied in a way that touched the skin on the side, which caused it to lift off the very next day. I had to return to have it fixed, but I was not happy with the repair; as the fixed nail looks noticeably darker than the rest. After that, other nails also began chipping which was frustrating. I was also not impressed with the cleanliness compared to my usual manicure and pedicure salon. For example, a plastic liner was not automatically used in the pedicure tub; I had to request it. I also noticed that nail files appeared to be reused, which made me uncomfortable. Overall, the experience felt like more hassle than it was worth. Due to the quality issues and cleanliness concerns, I don't plan on returning.
