My friend recommended me this place to get my eyebrows threaded since I was looking for an…read moreaffordable place ever since I moved to Miami. There are two locations, but I go to the Kendall one since it's close to my apartment. Plenty of parking available since it's located in the plaza where the movie theater is. Making an appointment online is convenient and they have a lot of time slots. Paying by card will cost you a fee so to avoid that fee, you would need to bring cash. Eyebrow threading will cost $11. I usually leave it up to them to shape my eyebrows because they know what would look best for my face shape. I always leave satisfied by the eyebrow shape they threaded. However, I do notice that there are a few hairs that I would need to clean up myself when I get home. Overall, I will keep coming here. Maybe next time I will tell them to clean it up a bit more.

On the day of my appointment, parking was a little tricky since the area can get busy, but once inside, I was greeted by a super cute and clean studio. I chose Ellie for my first visit (though there are other artists available), and I'm so glad I did. She was on time, polite, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about brows and lashes. The whole appointment took about 30 minutes, and I was blown away by the results. My brows looked defined, natural, and polished--better than I expected--and I left with a new sense of confidence. Ellie also offers products to maintain your brows at home, which is a nice bonus. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment, and I can honestly say I'm now a forever client. But recently she wasn't there to fulfill my appointment but the receptionist at the front comforted me and told me not to worry that she was going to recommend me someone and little did I think she was going to pare me with the best waxer in this center. Her name is Zaya, she made me feel so comfortable since the minute she introduced herself. Her charisma and vibe was out of this world. She makes sure that you are comfortable. Which is so important being that I get a Brazilian... I love that she makes sure to explain everything she is going before she does it. She's so knowledgeable about the products which btw I think I have the entire collection because she has me hooked on them. Plus the best part of it all is that their actually really amazing products and the results show but consistency is key to get the results. I have recommended several family members and there was only an instance that one of my family members was scheduled with Zaya but she had left early for personal reasons. We were attended by another waxer but nothing compared to the experience Zaya provides. The girls in the front always have a smile on their face and you feel welcomed when you come in till the minute you leave. I don't get my brows done every month, more like every quarter. What impressed me from my initial visit was that Dani really took the time to plot out the shape of the brows. They offer waxing and threading, but I opt for waxing. For my recent trip, I decided to add lamination and tint. WOW - what a difference that made. I chose to do this because I was going on a trip, and thought it would be nice to have my brows look ready to go at all times, especially when I would be in the beach/pool most of the time. I absolutely love how they came out, and have received tons of compliments about them. Will definitely be back! This spot is located on alcazar in the gabled tucked away kind of by the Banana berry smoothie shop and behind a barber shop on the main part of the street. Manuela who supposedly even teaches, sells herself as a professional eyebrow specialist. They're out to get your money. I paid $700 for a job that looks like $200. I will post photos of before getting my two lasers done and after which are the current brows from Miami Brow Bar. I've been doing my brows for over 25 years. My previous technician unfortunately moved so the need arose to find a new place. I found Miami Brow Bar on Instagram and saw she did a nice job. In discussing my situation with them, I was clear and provided the areas that needed repair and adjustments before making any appointment. They assured me that they could and would work with me. Although nervous, I decided to go ahead with the procedure. Once finished, Manuela, appeared nervous. She did a darker color than my actual hair color. She told me to wait until the retouch to adjust the color and shape. During the retouch it became clear she lacked experience and care. She made them worse. Since then I have sought different opinions on the work and all have returned the same verdict. "They ripped you off because the job is not correct " I hope this helps others not become victims of this incompetence and find another place.
