This is a late post. Because I stopped coming here due to my last interaction. I want to preface...I love the work she does. She is great at threading eyebrows, as are the ladies who work for her. However, I had to stop coming here due to a couple reasons. Rozina's will take appointments, but don't bother making it. She's always "running behind." I have never been seen at my appointment time. She honestly should be walk-in only. I wouldn't be as annoyed if that were the case. But why take appointments if you can't honor them. I wish this was the only time this happened to me, where I have to wait for my appointment. But it's not. I actually came early and thank goodness I did as the place already had multiple people waiting. Very poor way to handle other people's time. She also will roast you as you sit in your chair. Chastize you for not coming in regularly. It is super uncomfortable. I wish I had the money to come in every week but I don't. So I come when I can afford it. I had to sit through a lecture about coming on a schedule. I understand she has a business and is trying to make me a regular client. (Which I kind of have been for over two years.) I don't even grow hair fast enough to come in regularly. It was just bizarre. read more

Needing to keep busy today I realized my eyebrows could use a nice clean up. I don't really mess with my eyebrows since their nicely full and shaped but a thorough clean up is always good. Came here to their new location in a beauty suites bar. I love this concept of different beauty needs all in suites in one building. You can get from top to bottom taken care of here. They do take reservations but walk ins are welcome and service is fast and efficient. The whole process took less than 10 mins and I was satisfied with the outcome. Although waxing has been more common, I prefer threading as they can really shape up, clean and really define your brows. It's like an art form. The whole process was comforting even though threading can hurt just a little the outcome is worth it. C'mon a little pain for more beauty is worth it! read more

I have been going here for years. Two days before my birthday, I went in for my monthly eyebrow threading. I was offered a free two week tinting. As Rozina is always bringing in new employees to work for her, I was the Guinea pig for two new trainees. I will let the photos speak for themselves. Beware as you may get a young girl with no experience doing your eyebrows and end up very unhappy, dissatisfied and possibly with a botched procedure. In addition, if it is before a big event like a wedding, or special occasion...expect it to be completely ruined. I ended up in Baptist Urgent Care three days later. I was given steroids and currently on Antibiotics. I have to return to Baptist for more treatment. You have been warned. read more

I love Rozina and her sister Laila at the 2 locations. But, their price increased from $10 for 10 minutes eyebrow threading when they worked out of their house. The 2 sisters have many years experience. And they are from India and do the authentic eyebrow threading. But, in 2023 the price increased to $15!! And there is a new eyebrow threader who is new to threading. I believe the price increase is not justified. Rozina rents a small room in the back of a salon near Chrome ave on N. Kendall drive. And the other location is a small room in a big building on SW 124th ave and N Kendall Drive. I'm disabled and cannot work so getting my eyebrows threaded is a luxury. It used to be affordable. But, I'm looking for a new threader. read more

After reading all these good review, I decided to give my brush eyebrows a make over. I made an appointment with Rozina online on a Saturday afternoon. The place is a bit tricky to find, because is not like an actual salon. You have to go into the paradise salon, and it's 2nd room on the right at the back of the salon. Rozina did a good job fixing my eyebrows, however I do wish they were a little bit more thicker. I also did a brow tint, i wasn't too impressed at first because I did not like the shape of the she drew, it was too close to each other, I used makeup remover to fix the shape a little bit. Now is couple days after, I started to love my eyebrows. It looks beautiful and natural! I recommend just the eyebrows threading first to see if you like the shape, before doing the tint. The total cost of the shaping and tinting was $29 cash and it's $30 if you paid credit card. I will be back for the shaping, but having my eyebrows tint gives a doubt. read more

First off, let me say that I am extremely picky when it comes to letting people touch my eyebrows. I have also never threaded my eyebrows before but Rozina freaking rocked my world. My fear when doing my eyebrows is that the person leaves them too thin or uneven but wow, Rozina left my eyebrows full and poppin. After many times of telling Layla what I expect my eyebrows to look like, she continues to be inconsistent. How do you allow a client to leave with eyebrows that don't even look remotely the same? How do you then proceed to tell the client "you didn't tell me what you want", oh so when you go to the doctor with a problem, you expect the doctor to assume and just experiment on you? VERY disappointed with today's eyebrow shaping. Never returning. Not too long ago I reviewed this place and gave it 5 stars. Today I am including a photo of the botch job done to my eyebrows (top is my usual, bottom is what happened today). For a while I have thought that Rozina was a bit rough around the edges, but because she has always done a fantastic job, I have ignored her attitude. Today she scolded me over where I parked (I parked leaving about 4 feet front of her driveway, vs all the way front. She gave me a huge attitude. I don't have an issue with moving up, but I just don't understand, my treatment takes about 5 minutes, not sure why anyone would park behind me, and even so, there is a way to treat customers, her tone was completely off putting. She has also been less than tactful with my child a few times. My daughter behaves very well, and is a good listener, she usually just sits by the pet bunny and awaits for me. More than once Rozina has told her things like "calm down" after my daughter knocked on door, or to "sit down and stay still" when she walks up to me to see what I am having done. To make matters worse, her tone was very condescending and rude. Her new computer system is terrible! At first I thought that it was great, as I had done it from a computer, but quickly realized that it is terrible, as not compatible with iPhone. I called to schedule an apt over phone (since couldn't from iphone) and she gave me a huge lecture. She must not need the money, which I doubt, considering that she is raising her prices. The customer service here is horrible! I had accidentally made a reservation at the wrong location and didn't know until I was paying for my service. I called this location to let them know there was a mix-up and not to charge my card! And IMMEDIATELY, this woman started YELLING at me and lecturing me about how careless I was and that there was nothing she could do for me!!!!! I understand it was my fault, but accidents happen, and you shouldn't be yelling at your customers for a simple mistake. I'm not one to write bad reviews, but I've NEVER been treated so poorly by an establishment in my life. Sorry Rozina. I guess she wasn't on her game today. I grew out my eyebrows for 3 months to be able to try her out. I even did the eyebrow tinting. Turns out she made my eyebrows crooked. I went back for her to fix them and she said it was because my eyebrows hadn't grown out enough. Never had this problem with my other eyebrow lady. (Only problem is she doesn't do eyebrow tinting) She suggested I fill them in with eyebrow powder. I don't even own that stuff because I like them without make up. Paid the most expensive eyebrow and tint and it came out back. What a waste of $21. Won't be coming back! read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. I understand things are a little hectic now but common courtesy and respect for peoples time still need to apply. I made an appointment for services a week in advance and I show up on time and I'm rudely told that I need to go wait in my car and that there are three people ahead of me. If you are running late then common courtesy is to inform your clients. Especially when you threaten with cancellation fees. I drove out west and was excited to try a new spot. But she was very rude and I probably won't be returning, if I'm paying you money for a service, I would recommend not being rude especially if you're in the wrong. read more

Rozina is fantastic! When I lived closed to the area, I wouldn't let anyone else touch my eyebrows. I was a faithful clients for years and still would be if I hadn't moved. It's been incredibly difficult to find someone who threads as well as she does. I came across her simple by searching for eyebrow threading places in the west kendall area and I couldn't ignore the raving reviews she had from her loyal client case. It was probably the best google search result I've come across. Quick tip: I always leaned toward making my appointment on weekdays since the wait may sometimes take a while (especially on weekends) but its well worth it. I scheduled an appointment with Rozina. My previous eyebrow lady of many years unfortunately passed away from COVID complications so this experience of trying out a new location was already emotional for me. I heard good things about Rozina, so I went. She was not present in the room when I arrived, I was seated with another one of her staff. The experience was absolutely horrible. The technician took off hairs from my natural shape, hairs that won't grow back because of a thyroid issue I have. It was horrific. When I told them how upset I was at my eyebrows natural shape being destroyed, Rozina came in and told me that yes, my eyebrows were messed up by the technician, but that the " hair would grow back." Then, she got an eyebrow pencil and tried to fill in all the gaps the technician left in my eyebrows. I left the establishment in tears. I miss my former eyebrow threading technician so much, and to have this terrible experience has been so upsetting . I've heard Rozina does eyebrows great, which is why I booked with her, I do not understand why someone else did my eyebrows instead of her. read more

My experience here was far from great...I usually get my eyebrows done at a different threading salon and they always know what to do. This one did not. Not only was the lady who did mine rude but you began a conversation with someone else are she was doing eyebrows. I felt her pull to much hair and didn't notice till after i left that she had taken off a chunk of my eyebrow and didn't even let me know. She gave the mirror super quick and sent me to pay.
