I've been very impressed with the quality I receive here. To be honest I think Kayla has improved immensely as her techniques have gotten better over the course of time Iv'e been going. Her manicures are EXCELLENT where the cuticles are trimmed perfectly with care, and her gel application is great! I LOVE her pedicures, for she gets into the deep hangnails and cleans all that out!! I've been to places before where you feel that little pressure in the big toe because you just need the sides cut a little, & they tell you too see a Dr! Wife and family have been coming here for over 10 years. Me only recently, never got pedicures done before. Kelly (owner) and her staff are always friendly, and courteous. They have been following the COVID-19 safety protocols, and doing appointment only services. We had 5:00 PM on a Saturday appointments and we were the only people inside the salon. During such a tricky time we really appreciate the lengths they've gone to make us their customers feel safe. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

Was visiting family and needed to have my nails done and decided to visit this place based on the reviews. The reviews on here are VERY misleading. I have never seen a more sloppy job done. I went in for gel manicure and gel removal. She started by "removing" my previous polish, which she left chunks of old polish on my nails!! She then proceeded to paint the new gel over my old polish and had the sloppiest application. No technique whatsoever and left my edges unpainted or sloppy. She cured the gel polish UNDER MY NAILS and left the polish uneven and clumpy. Absolutely horrible I cannot believe I paid $40 for SUCH a mediocre job!! Stay away from here. read more

The staff is very nice and friendly and their place is clean but the work is absolutely awful. The skin around my nails is torn up, there's my previous polish color still left behind and I've actually never gotten a worse French Manicure. I was in the area and chose this place because it had 4 stars but that rating was incredibly misleading. Everything about city nails is incredible. Clean, friendly and so reasonably priced. We (mom, aunts and even dad) have been coming here since 2005 and after moving out of state I still come and get my nails done every single time I am in town. Kelly, Nelson and Kayla are family and all three do an incredible jobs with nails. It will take longer than most places you go but that is because only one of them handles both manicure and pedicure per client. They also are very throughout and what I consider perfectionists. They always clean your cuticles well and when it comes to a pedicure if you have ingrowns no one removes them better. For reference a mani pedi is only $35. read more

Me time... even though the place is not the fanciest you can find they provide great service. I have been here twice and they all have a smile in their faces. They tried to help me and my nails are beautiful. A nail salon has to be clean because you never know what infection you might get and they are very cautious about cleaning their tools before every customer. The manager is soooo nice and funny. Sure enough, this busy trio not only managed to squeeze us in but they did a great job. They became our favorite place to get our gel manicures and pedicures. Very poor customer service. I will never be back here even though I really like how Nelson does the pedis. So today I stopped by and asked if they could do my mani and pedis with Nelson the owner tells me that he already had an appointment on the way but if I came 3:30 or even better 4 that the other lady could do my mani/pedi, so I left and returned at 4:05 and as soon as she saw me she said they couldn't do my many pedi because i was aleady pass 3:30. I reminded her that she had said to me that even coming back at 4 or later was better, and her response was well is already 4 :10 and turned her back on me. What kind of customer service is that, not even an i am sorry you need to wait a bit longer for which i would have waited since she had me return. My time is a pretious as hers and that is no way to treat a customer. To me if an stablishment asks me to return is because they are comitting to do everything in their power to service me. Not to make me return and because other people arrive let me go. It is now 4:30 which makes it's difficult to go else where without appointment. She should have told me when i first arrived at 2:30 that they were busy and suggest for me to get an appointment. I would have been much happier with that answer than to waste my time and chances to go elsewhere today. read more

Let me start of by saying that Nelson and Kelly are great. I've been doing gel for quite sometime and it seems that it always ruins my nail. Makes it soft and they chip really easily. Sometimes doesn't even last two weeks! However, ever since I started coming here my nails are strong my paint lasts two weeks, and I haven't had any issues. I usually go to Nelson and always make an appt so I don't have to wait. I've only watched Kelly and the other manicurist do nails and they come very well! Kelly handles everything in a timely fashion (phone calls, appts etc.) and they take their time with their customers. I've been going ever since and have not been dissatisfied ! The main reason I went was because I saw all the great reviews but I was highly dissatisfied. I went in for refill and the lady seemed very mean. Soon I sit down she does the refill and when she goes to paint my nails I see she does it rather quickly and when she's done I see it's not well done. First the paint is uneven and she didn't cover my nail completely then she didn't clean up my nails at all. I am writing this review because the primary reason I gave this place a try was because of its great reviews. Unfortunately the reviews couldn't be any more inaccurate. I will never come back to this place. This place is not sanitary at all. The woman doing my hands left a moment in between to clean out the foot bath for the next woman. She did so by cleaning out the exfoliating tool (with out gloves) and when she came back to charge me she had a bunch of dead skin on her hands. She just brushed it off her hands before she attempted to continue doing my nails. On top of that my nails were filed extremely uneven and when I asked her to straighten them she just made it worse. read more

Absolutely disgusting!!!!!! They do not clean there material!!! Did my pedicure in 5 minutes. She went so fast I couldn't believe. I told her I had to leave paid my pedicure and left with out them being painted. That place is so disgusting I recommend no one to go there. I left crying !!! From how disgusted I felt. I don't often write reviews....but, I have been going to City nails for quite a few years. Last summer my family hiked down the Grand Canyon. Let me just say we weren't prepared. I lost four of my toenails. But, I have the best mani/pedi manicurist. Thanks...KELLY...all of my toe nails are back to normal.
