Went to this salon today for the 1st time. I searched the area and the prices seemed amazing. It was $37 for gel mani and regular pedi. Pedi was 1st... umm I didn't like that they didn't have pedi big chairs with the attached water bowl. The bowl was separate and they add kind of like an add on filter for hygiene purposes. Then where your put your feet when they are being worked in. it's not connected. It's constantly wobbly. The girl who attended me forgot to scrub my heals. This is probably the worst place you can go to get your nails done. They don't know how to apply polish and have the worst customer service, If you want to waste your money and have your polish chipping 2 days later this is the place to go. Went there a couple of times before I had the worst experience ever. I came in with gel polish from another salon and the person that was doing my nails there didn't know how to take it off so she stood up and left me there with the polish half removed. Absolutely love this place! Although I no longer work in the area, they are well-worth the trek as their prices are the most pocket friendly that I have seen. I reside in the Kendall area and it is atrociouss what nail salons charge there for even just a regular mani-pedi. Jasmine Nails & Spa offers week day specials, and the price I pay for both gel mani and gel pedi, is cheaper than what I would pay for just a gel mani/regular pedi, any where else. *update on a few days after I got my nails done, picture below my finger. Burns if I have anything touch it and skin is turning purple and black* I went here recently...price is good and everyone is nice mind you. Super nice looking place I like the vibe. But when I told the lady Dunia I think it's spelled , I told her after she painted one finger that will it be dark dark because it looks so light that after a few shades it will still be light. She said yes I told her cause I don't want it light I don't like it she said it will darken she kept going. We're on our 3 time round and there still light. She asked me if I want another hand I told her yeah mind as we'll try see if it gets darker but it didn't. I got upset cause I don't like the color. And I told her I hate short nails instead of leaving what I had she made my nails so low that my fingers just feel weird I can't explain it. Like I feel just my finger skin ugh I hate the shape there not lined up. Also she was too rough on my cuticles...they bleed a lot and that's never happened to me. Very nice staff but the color I chose was close to being finished but the girl continued to use the bottle (to be fair she asked the owner if she had a new bottle which was not available). In any case BIG mistake because it took forever to dry because it was SO thick and the worse part is that it dried matte. I suspect they may have added remover in order to thin the polish but the manicure looks terrible. I really wanted to like this place as I'm looking for a new salon close to MIA, my place of work. It's Saturday 23 Dec so no chance of redoing nails in time for Xmas . A few improvements by the owner would make a world of difference. Good luck! Usually, I don't complain about bad service, but this one was the worst experience I ever had. - Don't buy the groupon for this place. The place is difficult to find, parking is very limited, so it will take you a good 20-30 mins to park, and if you decide to park at rear of the shopping plaza, your shoes soles will come off... The person who did my manicure and pedicure had no idea what she was doing. She was covering my nails with polish remover on my nails prior to removing the protective coating in my old gel color... did not brush my nails, did not remove the cuticles, used a worn wooden stick to clean under my toenails-seems she uses the same for everyone; had me wet my feet till I asked her.. she was about to start painting my nails before washing my feet... so she had me put my feet in the water ... scrubbed them, and used the same water to "rinse out the soap"... I can guarantee you they don't even sterilize the equipment. I wanted to leave so badly ... but I was apprehended, for people working there seem to be very aggressive and rude... This place is my go-to They have the really good $30-35 gel mani and regular pedi deal The nail technicians who work there are all good to be honest. I've had my nails done with most of them since I'm usually not a person who has "favorites" for nails. I tend to just go with how a place is in general. I expect everyone in a nail salon to be up to par so that I don't have to worry about waiting for anyone or going at certain times since my schedule is tight at times. It is clean, they serve you coffee, water , champagne or tea The only thing is booking to obtain that great deal requires like 4 days in advance to make sure you can be seen on the days they have the deal which is Mon-Wed because it's obviously a very sought after deal so plan accordingly. Def worth it. And have not gotten any sort of infection since I have been coming here or had any bad experience. read more

Jimena at the front desk was nice and that's about the only redeeming quality of this place. I love this place! The prices are very economical and the service is excellent I've done a full set with pedicure and a full with pedicure and both times they exceeded my expectations. Geidy is very detail oriented and listens to the wants of the customer. I'm very picky and I know I'm hard to pleaser when it comes to my nails but she does such a great job I don't have to tell her anything. Part of getting your nails done is the experience and they provide a very relaxing an enjoyable atmosphere. While getting your nails done they offer water, coffee, tea and wine. Found a Groupon to this salon for $35 down from $50. As I am doing my nails, I was told I'd be charged $5 for gel removal. When I finished my gel mani/regular pedi, I was told my total was $35, to which I said, yes but I have a Groupon. The manager then explained that it all works out because I paid for what I got; I said "so what is the special??" She replied that on Monday's, Tuesday's, and Wednesday's the gel mani/regular pedi cost is $26.50 and on the rest of the week is $30. So I asked, again, what is the special then? I have basically overpaid for a service that I could've gotten for much cheaper without a Groupon which assumes a special price. So Groupon gives false advertising and this business supports it by telling them their cost is higher than it actually is. Never going back! read more

I get anxiety when it seems like I know more about nails than the person servicing me. I gave it a second try after the first round. I don't even know where to begin. As soon as I walked in they were rude. The lady doing my nails had the worst attitude. The machine to do acrylics broke and they insisted I do my feet so I agreed. The lady at the front told her to do my feet and she told her she didn't want to do my feet, that she would rather wait than to do my feet. She ended up doing my feet and was so aggressive I was bleeding. Then the new machine came and she did my nails and hurt one of my fingers. She was so aggressive. I came here after I found their Groupon for mani pedi paraffin wax treatment for $16. My transaction didn't go through and I wasn't able to buy another so I called and they said they'd gladly take us for the same Groupon price. So we went with an appointment at 11, got there around 11:15 because we couldn't find it in the plaza. Once we walked in I said we had an appointment and she wasn't understanding as my Spanish is rusty, so my mom explained we had a Groupon for the paraffin treatment. Upon saying that, a nail tech rolled her eyes as if we were an inconvenience. After a good 15 more minutes of waiting, nail tech came and complained it was 11:30 and our appointment was at 11. We finally sat (apart, though over the phone I said I'd like for us to be together). Nail tech brought the water for her feet and it was cold after 5 minutes, my nail tech had me put my hands in water and then left me to take care of another customer. My mom texted me that her feet were cold and we should make a run for it /s. Nail tech still not back and my fingers were soggy, we left and now are on our way to somewhere with better service and nicer staff. Update: an hour or so after we left one of the nail techs had called me and offered to do our nails for free. Very nice of them but I don't think I'd go back for pity nails. read more

Normally I get to have the gel perfect for a week or so. It's been almost 2 weeks and my nails are like the first day! They have tons of colors and the service it's just awesome. Mimosa, coffee, you tell 'em! I hate going to salons and feeling like the girls are in a hurry and this is definitely not the case. The girl that does waxing you can tell it's an expert, I'm super picky when it comes to eyebrows and this girl just does it so gentle and careful. Horrible first impression and experience. I called around 6:00pm to make an appointment at earliest convenience and was told that they had an opening at 8:30 pm and due my circumstances of being a full time employee and student and traveling in less than 36 hours I agreed to the appointment at 8:30pm. Because I was in the area I arrived about 15 minutes earlier and I was seated immediately to pedicure chair to start feet. On the feet soaker she did not put a plastic in it which I find to be unsanitary especially for feet. Girl who did my nails (Lissy) had me soak up my feet for about 5 minutes while she was on her phone and talking to the lady at the front. When she finally came to start working on my toes right from the begging she was rushing. I know nobody at 8:30 pm on a Monday is going to be in the best mood or maybe want to be dedicated as they should be but if you want to build a clientele employees have to treat the customer right and take they're time and assure the job is getting done correctly. My toes aren't filed evenly and when she was painting she was painting all over and to then semi clean my toe nails. Then came the mani.... again rushing through it and on her phone texting. She was rushing so much that she cut me and didn't even put any disinfectant and clearly saw it bleeding because she herself cleaned it with the napkin she was using. Everyone knows that a cut small or big should be disinfected right away. Besides her cutting me she would brush the same nail about five times... and because I was doing gel the nail looks like a big blotch of paint. One thing is working fast paced and another is rushing through it cause you want to leave. I had an appointment for gel manicure and pedicure the day before my engagement photo shoot. I show up 10 minutes before and the owner tells me that the nail tech will be at least 1 hour late ... First of all .. they offer a 9-9pm hours of operation with only 2 employees available to work which is absurd. Second , if you know that your customer is coming in at a certain time , then WHY is your nail tech NOT in the business for the appointment?? The owner simply apologized and didn't at least offer a discount for the inconvenience. This place is starting off on the wrong foot. Learn to run the place and learn to accommodate your costumers accordingly to the situation that presents . NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN - their 4$ less of an offer than other near by places is NOT worth the inconvenience .
