What a great place. Came here on a recommendation from my sis as her nails are always fabulous. It's a bit far off for me but well worth the trek to get a quality job done. The place is smaller but you don't feel cramped. It's so clean and very cute they way they decorated. They have a nail bar set up with a high top table and comfortable chairs and the pedicure chairs are very comfy too. Every foot spa is lined for proper sanitation and you can tell they take that seriously. I happened to be the first appointment at 10am so was the first to arrive. The owner and my nail tech Ariamne were setting up and greeted me. They were so friendly and were quick to offer me some coffee and water to get me settled in. On to the nails! I usually do my nails myself because I'm picky and don't like to spend money on a crapy job but I'm happy to say these ladies are very meticulous. I normally don't cut my own cuticles so when I came in today they were pretty horrific. Ariamne was fantastic at cleaning them up. Felt 5 pounds lighter after she attacked those babies. Great job on the gel manicure as well, not too thick so I know it will last. She gave my feet a great overhaul also and took here time cleaning them up. So for a gel manicure and pedicure I was there for about an hour and a half. Not too bad given the state of my cuticles lol. I had a very nice experience at this nail salon and was sure to make my next appointment before I left. They also have waxing services which I'll be taking advantage of next time I go. I came after looking up a nail salon near FIU and found them on Yelp. They had good reviews, I figured why not? First off, the actual spot is so beautiful and really well decorated and taken care of. This really is a place to relax and unwind. They have a pretty good selection of nail polish (I did gel). Ariamne did my nails. She is so sweet and really patient with clients. I didn't like the original color and she didn't seem to be bothered at all; I was able to change it without any problems. Definitely will be coming back! The manicure wasn't PERFECT, and I do think it's a little bit pricey at $25, I'm used to $20 for gel. But besides that, it was a great experience. read more

My pedicure was very gentle, she scrubbed my heels, cut my nails, pushed back cuticles, and trimmed the cuticles. There was a community bucket instead of a new pack of tools that each client gets which I am used to. Good color selection though. Did a foot scrub and massage after the cuticle work. She didn't speak English but that was okay she was very nice. My manicure was great and very routine. Again, the tools seemed to have been used before and weren't the most clean, but it did not feel that dirty if that makes sense. Overall my nails and toes look great and they were very very nice, I just worry about the cleanliness of the tools. read more

I called to make an appointment and she was able to see me within 30 min. they work by appointment so make sure to just give them a call ahead. when i got there Ariamne offered me something to drink and explained prices. $25 for mani/pedi but $28 if you use the Zoya nail color. I loved the the nail bar area and loved even more than she did my fingers first! they don't have massage spa chairs but they do have super comfy chairs ( I almost fell asleep in it) and you place your feet inside a plastic lined bucket. not gonna lie, at first it was weird to me because i was so used to "los chinos" style pedicures but the end result is the same and Ariamne is so good! she really does make sure the nails come out perfect. definitely my new nail salon. It's not one of those spas that treat you like a number. Google gps will take you across the street. Go to the plaza opposite. It's beside a hair salon. They really pamper you and take their time to do flawless work. I was lucky enough to have the owner of the spa do my nails. I think her name was Maria. I think. Just ask for the owner (I'm terrible with names). I couldn't even tell that she was the owner because she was so sweet and humble.!! I didn't know it was by appointment only and I came in an hour before closing; she was still kind enough to do my nails without complaint and didn't rush to get me out of there. Again, the owner did an AMAZING job on my nails. I usually don't leave many five star reviews but WOW!! They offer you a beverage when you get there, and offer you a blanket if you get cold. I was going somewhere else, which was cheaper but that's the mani/pedi I was getting, a cheap one. After many rude and unprofessional treatments I decided to look for another place and stumbled on Spa-Cio with their already great reviews. I called and made a same day appointment to be seen in about 15 minutes (it was a Tuesday I believe at around 2PM). I mentioned how I had my 3 month old baby girl with me and they reassured me it wouldn't be a problem and if we had to take a break to feed her or calm her it wouldn't be a problem. As soon as I arrived I was offered water and was able to put my daughters stroller right next to me while I was getting my gel mani done. Laura was AMAZING! I bite my cuticles and needless to say, she made my hands look !! She applied the polish with great precision and it still looks as shiny as day one. Arianme helped me with my baby girl since she got a little fussy, and carried her and bounced her around a little bit while my hands were busy. I just happened to be at this strip mall to drop my friend off at her dance class (Karibe Dance Studio) and had two hours to kill. It was Labor Day, and I called when I realized they worked by appointment only. The owner, Maria fit me in within 30 minutes of calling. Maria was awesome!! She took her time and was able to remove my gel manicure, cut, shape, clean up my cuticles with care and precision, and paint without any streaky finish. She mixed two Essie colors together to get exactly the perfect pink/nude that I wanted. One of them was Limo-Scene and I wish I could remember the name of the second one, because it resulted in the perfect color for me. She also put a top coat product that helped accelerate the dry time. It's been almost a week and the mani-pedi still looks great!!! The service, atmosphere, cleanliness and final product were all excellent, especially considering the price! $25 for a well done mani-pedi is a rare find in Miami!!!! When I first came in, I loved the atmosphere. I was offered water or coffee right away and seated. My nail technician arrived a few minutes after I was seated. As she was cutting my cuticles I noticed she was trimming kind of far back it hurt a little but I didn't bleed, so I didn't say anything. She (Arianne) didn't speak any English (I am not bilingual) so I couldn't communicate with her. I was impressed by how she was obviously putting forth the effort to make my nails and toes look nice. But now 3 days later I have an obvious infection on my toe from where she trimmed too much skin off the side of my nail. It's really irritating and uncomfortable to wear shoes. Warning to all current clients!!!! This establishment is known for raising fees for services without advising clients whom already have scheduled appointments. They allow clients to come in and have services rendered to then at the end tell you a different price than you had been quoted. Not only is this wrong, but its not professional. I have referred a numerous amount of clients to this salon, which now will never return. I have tried contacting the owner and have not been successful.
