She was absolutely amazing! I did the deep tissue with the hot stones and my body felt rejuvenated after. Norma was very informative and explained to me the different steps of the massage (for example, she told me how stress had caused fluid to buildup underneath my arms, which I didn't even know!). She massaged areas that I didn't even know were tense and was very respectful when massaging my thigh area. As I was paying at the end of the appointment, Norma asked me how I felt and I told her I was good but there was just a little bit of pain in my upper back area but that it was ok and instead of being satisfied with my answer, Norma helped stretch me out until I was pain free. I paid for one hour and it ended up actually being an hour and 15 minutes because Norma went above and beyond for me. I truly recommend her and this spa. My cousin had…read moregotten me a Groupon deal for a 60-minute massage during the Holidays, which was perfect because my body had been aching really badly. Upon arriving, I found parking easily. I took the stairs to the second floor and went to the suite. When I entered the office, the owner, Alex, and a staff member greeted me right away. They had me fill out a form for my basic information. Then Alex asked me what kind of massage I wanted (deep-tissue, stretching, areas to concentrate on, any pains, etc.) and if I wanted to use the restroom before we started. I didn't have a preference for the gender of the masseuse, so Alex did my massage. He showed me the room and it was pretty cozy. The massage bed was heated and wow! It felt amazing already! After taking off my clothes (except undergarment), I laid on the bed under the covers face down. Then Alex knocked and came in, and confirmed what to work on in the 60 minutes. He started with my back and neck and worked his way to arms/hands, legs/feet, and then put hot towels on my back. It felt awesome. I thought the massage was finished but Alex instructed me to turn over, so I was like--wow, the massage was so good that I thought it was done already. He did stretches, physical therapy moves, massaged my collar bone areas (my first time), and asked me how the pressure was throughout the session. He was very professional, respectful, and passionate. You can tell that he was good because he pinpointed where my pains were and asked if what he was doing was helping to relieve the areas. At the end of the session, Alex thanked me and told me to take my time in the room and he will be at the front. When I went to the front after getting dressed, he gave me a bottled water and asked me how I felt, if the pains are still there, and what did I think of the massage. He said he is the owner and told me about the specials they are having if I wanted to go back. He was not pushy at all and was respectful. His English was not great but he really tried and we were able to communicate anyways. The plaza itself is kind of dingy but the massage place is fine in my opinion. It's truly a gem in Miami. The restroom isn't very appealing design-wise but it is functional. I would recommend this business, as the service itself was great and parking is free. You can really tell that the owner really cares and wants the best for his clients. I would definitely come back again.

Once we were finding it difficult to get our daughter to the center or to bring her back home, and Rehab of South Florida offered us a viable transportation solution. My daughter, who was born with cerebral palsy, has made almost miraculous progress thanks to Delsa's creativity, persistence, and consistency. Recently, Delsa demonstrated how she was able to improve my daughter's range of motion, she was unable to lift her arm straight up, and her posture. Mindy gave me at my foot massage for an hour and proceeded my back with my feet soaked which is the usual ritual. She then sat me back on the very comfortable chair and I dozed off as she massaged and gave me reflexology on my feet, which was absolutely wonderful. She had a strong grip and that's my preference. She kept asking me " is this okay this is okay" and of course it was okay so that was a little distracting at times. But she was very sweet about it I was just in deep slumber. While there are a few very good massage therapists here, it has become clear that they do not honor their call -ahead appointments. Over the last few years, I have been double booked at the same time as somebody else numerous times. When I am the first of the two booked clients to get there, I get the massage, but my massage therapist has had to leave the room a few minutes into the session to address an angry customer in the waiting room who arrived only to find they have been double booked and have no session. Today, I arrived to find out my therapist was in a session and would not be available for another hour. So I reluctantly agreed to give someone I don't know a try, and that was a big mistake. She took forever to even come to the room, and then when she did and I laid down, nothing happened for at least a minute and so I looked up and saw her standing there scrolling her phone!!! She continued for nearly a minute and I started to sit up and she exclaimed, "What are you doing? Relax, I will do my best." I laid back down. Then...nothing again. I looked up again and she was scrolling her phone again! At some point she started and the massage was weak. I asked her to add more strength and she sighed with exasperation and did not make any change. I then got up and said I would reschedule. She stormed out. As I was getting dressed, the other woman from the front desk who had convinced me to give that first therapist a try came in and offered to do my massage herself. I agreed and laid back down. Thankfully, she actually had good strength and was respectful and professional. The chaos that occurred today was ridiculous. This is not the first time I have arrived at Asiami to find out that my therapist was double booked. Even worse, the first therapist I was set up with today was extremely rude and not even competent at the job when she finally did start. I am dumbfounded as to why Asiami would hire someone that is so unprofessionaI. If I have another experience like today's at Asiami, I may permanently take my business elsewhere. Please stop double booking your call ahead appointments!!!
