After having had such a great experience a year ago, I was back in town with wife this time so I scheduled a couples massage. Scheduling from NJ and confirmed beforehand made it easy upon arrival. The staff on the phone, in person and certainly those giving the massages were very attentive and wonderful. They took the time needed to clarify everything and the service was exactly what we both needed. We were able to lay down and be pampered. The manner in which we were treated and the comfortable ambiance made the session complete. Both Maria and Antonio (Tony) were wonderful. My wife and I felt the pressure and overall treatment was great! I would come again when I am in the area and totally recommend it to others. Clean, comfortable and very good massages! read more

Great massage, they got me in last minute and listened to my concerns. I felt as light as a feather after! I will definitely be back.

The staff at Tao was professional and friendly...Great customer service! Carlos was Amazing! I will definitely be back.

I got my friend a massage and body scrub for her birthday and she loved it. The staff was amazing on arrival and she was seen by her masseuse on time. The products that were used smell lovely. She chose a hot stone massage and said it felt great. They rub the stones along your body and that helps to relax the muscles. She said after the service she felt so relaxed and skin was super soft. I would definitely recommend this spa and you can give someone you know a gift of a spa service for this location. read more

went to Tao for my first ever massage! I got a reflexology foot massage which was priced very fairly in my opinion- $70 for 30 minutes. I was paired with Alejandro as my masseuse and I was blown away with his professionalism and service. I was a bit nervous since I had never had a professional massage, but he made sure I was relaxed and comfortable. Right when you walk into the spa, the relaxation begins. It looks brand new and felt as if I was transported to a five star hotel spa. I can't wait to bring my boyfriend here and book a couples massage. read more

Came for the cupping..felt amazing after. Place is very clean and sanitary. Coming back soon!

Nice and clean building. Staff was nice. The massage that I received was by a person who has NOT BEEN to any kind of class. They have not been taught how to give a massage. I would never get another one again. I came here because of the reviews on yelp and Google. The other reviews have to be fake about massages. The facial cleansing was amazing. I did enjoy it. My face was smooth and felt refreshed after I left. They used several scrubs and creams to make my face super smooth. If not for the blanket issue below, I would come back for this service. My worst complaint of all, this building is 80+ degrees. On top of that, they MAKE YOU (you don't have an option) to wear a sheet and blanket. I was soaked in sweat after my facial and massage. Extremely uncomfortable. Lastly, they gave me hot tea at the end. I did not expect it to be hot tea when it's currently 86 degrees outside. Who wants something hot to drink when it's blazing outside. Overall, I will not go back to this location. Don't fall for the tourist trap. It's a waste of money. read more

I just has the best massage of my life from Leanet!! I will be back for sure. Thank you !

Got an hour neuromuscular therapeutic massage from carlos and omg..so amazing..ive had hundreds of massages and this one is up there as top 3..and ive had massages at the chuan spa at the langham in Chicago. He massaged my whole body but I requested for him to focus on my upper shoulders and neck and this is one of the few times a therapist actually did so and didnt just do it for 5 minutes. Amazing technique and attention to detail. He also had a few surprising additions that I didnt expect like a weighted heat pad on my eyes and under my neck as well as my stomach and a cool device that vibrates my head. Highly recommend and ill be back every time i visit miami! read more

Wowowoowowowow Ok ummmm this place blew my mind. The staff so accommodating and helped me book the apt I wanted. I was welcomed eagerly offered tea and the space you wait in is lovely- clean cute and MY GOSH THIS PLACE SMELLS SO GOOD WTT!! I dunno what they burn or whatever but o m g every room smells so insanely delicious. The tea is David's tea which is one of my fave tea brands and the decaf one they made me was absolutely delicious. Front desk was super sweet and helpful. Now the massage- OMG!! The room has a lovely ambience and the sheets are so soft and the table is perfectly warm. So dreamy. I had Monique/ SAVE URSELF TIME BOOK HER . Monique is actually one of the best massages I have ever had and I am someone who gets a massage every week. She crushed it. I like cry thinking that I might never see her again. Monique- you are perfect. Deep knows her anatomy sweet didn't chat too much and made sure she did extra on my feet like I asked. I hope we meet again Monique ur my fave ever. Place is so good and for the price can't beat it. TAO is a win and the man who owns it so friendly and nice. This is the first ever massage I've had so I went with my husband who grew up in asia and has had many. The staff were SO kind! I was really nervous bc I've only really ever seen massages on tv and the undressing freaked me out but I felt so comfortable. I wasn't brave enough to go nude but they said I can be completely clothed to nude to that's an option. My masseuse was as verbal but not overly so. Just making sure I was comfortable and the pressure was right. It was awesome! The beds are heated which is delicious! I also love the heated eye mask and pillow for when you turn around! The girl with brown hair at the front desk was incredibly kind and really sorted us out on helping us!!! I appreciate her so greatly! Shout out to all three women! I would definitely go back. Didn't take pics bc I was nervous lol but no reason to be next time! read more

The most unprofessional spa I've ever encountered. I called to confirm that a Groupon could be used for services. They said yes, go buy the Groupon and call back. I bought the Groupon and called back. They booked the appointment and then called me back two minutes later to say they cannot let me use the groupon and that I need to contact Groupon for a refund. When I asked for more details THE OWNER HUNG UP ON ME. I do not recommend going here unless you want to be talked to like a piece of garbage. read more

My husband and I had a couples massage with bamboo this afternoon and it was FANTASTIC! (I am fairly picky about massages, atmosphere, quality, cleanliness.) Immediately upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and it smelled so good! The place was very clean, quiet and calming music playing. Our therapists, Monique and Danielle, were on time and extremely welcoming. Our massages felt similar to a deep tissue massage which we both preferred. It was very relaxing and I also liked how they used a warm washcloth to wipe off the oil from our feet so we don't slip. It was very well priced and would highly recommend trying this location. read more

THE BEST MASSAGE EVER. Yes, I am screaming/yelling. So glad I decided to make the reservation for a massage. This Miami trip was meant for R&R and this place put the R&R in R&R. Scheduled a couples 1015am Relax, Refresh, Renew massage package. This included a Swedish/ Deep tissue 60 min massage, a 30min body scrub and a scalp treatment. We decided to add a essential oils eucalyptus treatment. We got on our bikes from 39th and it took us about 20 min to arrive. Alejandro is the man! I was a bit prideful which prevented me from having him decrease the pressure as it was intense. We walked out with our skin feeling so nice and clean after the body scrub (my first one), and so relaxed from the 60min massage! Definitely recommend this place! read more

Great message, clean, staff was professional and it was nice and air conditioned on a hot day. Would recommend!

Alejandro gave an out of this world massage. Jasmina gave me a sublime facial that left my skin feeling wonderful!

For the first stop on a girl's trip with my best friend, we decided on the spa to rejuvenate ourselves after our flight! I booked Tao Spa the day before for 2 75-min hot stone massages, as the couples massages were unavailable. A 50% deposit was placed at time of booking. Upon arrival, Tao Spa was clean and inviting, and we started our massages exactly on time. I had Tibasay as a masseuse, and she was great! I noted my pain areas and she took care to get all of my knots out. The hot stones were super relaxing and helped to soothe my tight muscles. Massage pressure was also perfect. Tao spa is really a no-frills experience, which I enjoyed immensely. read more

Alejandro gave me the best massage! I feel like I get so locked up from working out and Alejandro knows his stuff when it comes to athletes. Always checking in on pressure. I live nearby and have tried many places in south beach and I keep coming back here for their fair prices, relaxing ambiance, and amazing massages. I have been coming to Tao Spa regularly for the past few years now - The massage therapists are wonderful and it's a very calming environment and convenient location. I always request Maria Antonieta for a Swedish massage and she is absolutely wonderful. She always is very caring and responsive to what I am needing for the massage and which muscles are more sore than others. I always leave feeling a million times better than when I arrived. Antonieta is my go-to masseuse for a while now and I highly recommend her and Tao Spa! read more

I booked a 60 minute deep tissue massage and my masseuse was Betsabe M. She was amazing. This was my first time ever getting a professional massage and I am so happy I came here. Tao is like the restaurant at the top of the ski resort mountain: they treat you like crap bc they don't expect you (probably a tourist) to come back. Tourist places have poor service and Tao is no exception, which sucks for me as a potential ongoing client. I have been here twice for 2 separate massages. "High" lights: - Mediocre massage from kind but lacking therapist who did not know her muscle groups and was stuck in surface effleurage. I requested she go deeper in specific areas several times before I realized she simply didn't know how. - Phone and email confirmation for a female therapist I had requested, but when I arrived, it was a man. Apology? Nope. Instead, I was blamed for their last minute switch. - When I asked for a small discount for being forced to reschedule, the manager said it was my fault bc I hadn't answered my phone when they called with a day-before confirmation. Ok, but you also didn't leave a message? Am I supposed to wait by my phone for your call, just so I can be sure I get what your email confirmation said Id get? - They finally agreed to a 10% discount, which they didn't even process. I left a nice tip anyway bc I am nice. Also I just wanted to leave, after being spoken to so defensively. 2 stars bc both massage therapists were quite personable and nice. But I will never, ever come back as the hyper-defensive management will 100% treat you like crap and blame you if they do anything wrong. Like the tourist ski resort, they assume you'll just ski down the mountain and never return to complain about their undercooked, $15 cup of microwaved ramen. TLDR: come here for your mediocre massage and bad customer service. read more

Best experience ever! I'm so glad that I decided to get a spa treatment and found this spa on Yelp. This was my first experience getting a body scrub and it was oh so good. I throughly enjoyed every aspect of the treatment from the scrub, massage, and the shower after. My technician, Cedtara was sensational. Her customer service and massage skills were A+. I recommend this spa if your looking to treat yourself in a relaxing clean environment. I felt like a new women when I left the spa, refreshed and renewed. read more
