I recently moved to Miami and have been looking for a new place to get a massage since I usually get one every month. I was excited to take advantage of Miami Spa Month at Healing Hands because of all the positive reviews. The spa itself was clean, and everyone I interacted with was polite. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. My appointment was rescheduled twice, from 6:00 to 6:15 and then again to 6:30. While I was understanding, it wasn't a great start. I paid $153 for a 75-minute massage that was advertised to include deep tissue work, hot stones, three aromatherapy blends, therapeutic stretching, an ice globe facial treatment, and a relaxing scalp and foot massage. Instead, I received about 60 minutes of someone rubbing large amounts of oil across my back. There was very little technique, no real attention to the areas I requested, and none of the relaxing flow or pressure I expect from a professional massage. It was actually uncomfortable at times, and I found myself just waiting for it to end. I don't know if this was due to a lack of experience or a lack of care, but the service I received did not match what was advertised or what I paid for. It felt like money wasted. Based on my experience, I'd recommend spending a little more elsewhere if you're looking for a quality massage. read more

Overall this review and score is mainly about price point for the quality of the massage and the facilities. The massage was a decent massage but not the best I have had. I had to remind my therapist multiple times for more pressure. A huge plus side was my therapist did include some really good stretching which was amazing, The facility is in a business center/building, without any other amenities, so it is strictly a massage type place. The price I thought was very steep for all considering the above. While I am not one that must have an amazing atmosphere, I do want either the massage or atmosphere to blow me away for a steep price if not both. For reference, I have gotten massages and been to spas at other high priced venues before and paid more for a massage; such as Newport, RI and Switzerland. To compare, for a little more at the Ritz in Miami, you get not only the massage but access to the pool, sauna, Lounge, and steam rooms. This could be a one off for the massage since others rave about it, but this is what I noticed. read more

Maria and Pilar were amazing and they both definitely had some healing hands. I have to say this was the best massage I have ever had. Amazing massages from Ema and Lucy. My boyfriend and I really wanted a couples massage after a fast-paced, stressful year of work, and it was the end of an action-packed week-long vacation. We experienced a 90 - min massage together in a beautiful high-rise corner room with full windows for a view of the city. Each of us had gnarly knots built up and we are so appreciative for the attentiveness to what we needed. My masseuse was Ema, and I loved her technique and tools she used. I'm a big fan of aromatherapy, hot stones, and massage tools - the fact that all were used in their comprehensive package style was extremely beneficial to me in combination. I booked a massage last minute for my sister for her birthday. I chose healing hands because it had by far the best reviews in Miami. I booked the massage the day before with Lis because she had availability on the online booking schedule and her bio seemed like she would be a good last minute option since she was a nurse prior. I received a message one hour prior to the massage asking if we could push back the appointment 15-20 minutes. I told her that would not work because we were actually already there. She said "okokok" in a response through text message. My sister still had to wait 15 minutes after the scheduled time. It would have been appreciated if we were just told the massage will be moved back instead of asking, since she was going to disregard our answer anyways. The massage was fine, nothing special. The atmosphere was in a business office building and during the entire massage my sister could hear brickell traffic and honking through the walls, even though the "spa" was on the 17th floor. The walls in the "spa" were more so cubicle walls that didn't connect all the way to the ceiling so you could hear other people within the spa/business talking. Won't be back, not worth the $$. Not very relaxing. Hope you can improve with this feedback. read more

It has been a long time since I had a massage that was both therapeutic AND relaxing. I have been looking for a new therapist to help me achieve both as I always have a little something bothering me and want to get it worked out. I have recently received a massage by Mariangel. She listened to my needs and provided an excellent experience all around. Most importantly, she provided me with very valuable feedback throughout the session for the areas I can work with my Physical Therapist. Booked a couples massage for my birthday and it was quite good. My husband got Cedtara and I got Julieta for our massages. The only complaint was that the pressure was a little inconsistent, some areas it was perfect, other areas was a little too strong. This made it a bit difficult to relax and throughly enjoy the experience. My husband said that he wished Cedtara had put more pressure as he used to run track and field in college, so he's very used to more extreme massages. Otherwise it was decent. Parking and finding the location was fairly easy. I do wish there was music playing in the room and the rooms were darker. read more

Found this amazing gem as part of my spa month research and already had two treatments. Both therapists were fantastic: Pilar and Julieta. I love it so much that I am considering a membership. It's located within walking distance from pretty much everything in brickell. Enjoyed my couples massage with my girlfriend. We had Maria and Sandra. I booked for Anastasia and Maria, and found out upon arrival that Anastasia was out sick. I would've appreciated to know prior. The massage was good. We booked for the 75 minute couples massage. Sandra and Maria were both so sweet.The only other con, besides my masseuse not being available, is the room for couples massages is too light for my comfort. The curtain used is basically translucent. I prefer the room darker, as I've experienced in the past. Find some type of shades or curtain to make the room darker and light a candle. Just a hint lol. I had Anatasia and she was awesome! She listened to how much pressure I wanted in certain areas. My bf had Isabel? Not sure if I heard her name right but my bf said she also did a great job. He didn't realize how tight he was lol. Place was easy to find using their directions on the website but you have to call when you get to the door so they can get you. I absolutely LOVED MY MASSAGE at Healing Hands!!! My therapist Idaires was a dream. Everything from her demeanor (professional, warm, kind!) to her actual massage (like butter, but better!) was exquisite. I wish I lived in town so I could visit her weekly - if I had such significant benefits after just one massage, imagine what she could do in 3 months. Some of my post-massage improvements included better posture, more effortless movement overall, easier and fuller breathing, significantly reduced tension and major relief from neck/head pain, which was a huge challenge for me recently.
