My husband and I booked a massage here for our anniversary. I called and scheduled day of. We arrived to the "spa" that seemed like it was just a hotel room. The massage therapists had a bit of an English barrier so we showed them on the website which massage we'd like to purchase. The price was $295. The massage wasn't great, but not awful. The room was very cold. At the end the massage therapist handed me the credit card machine to pay and the total was $385. I asked her why the discrepancy and she said that tax and tip was included in the price. I had always intended on leaving a tip, but it was strange to me that there was also a tax. When we got back to our hotel room, I looked up to see that there is no tax permitted on massage services in Miami. The next day I checked my credit card statement and saw that I was not just charged $385 but I was charged $411!! I called the spa and was told that there was an additional 3% fee for using my credit card. No one told me this when I called to Book the appointment. The manager told me that she would refund me the extra charges. She blamed the new employees on the error... she acknowledged that because I booked over the phone I wasn't subject to the 3% fee stated on their website because nobody informed me when I called the book. I said that I wanted to give a 20% tip on the service that was $295. It's been two weeks and I still have not received the refund on the extra charges and I will be taking this up with my credit card company. If you're thinking about coming here, don't fall for the reviews that tell you this is the best massage place in the area. The massages were very mediocre as was the spa and I won't be returning again. Make sure to check your credit card statement!! read more

Director NO SHOWED for my confirmed appointment in which they took a $50 up front payment. Then accused me of no showing the day prior (I had text and e mail confirming appt that I showed up for). My husband booked a deep tissue massage with the Director, Erica Reyes. I showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment. A staff member handed me her phone, Erica said my appointment was yesterday at 10:30 and she waited for me, I explained that I was looking at the confirmation. At that point there was an apology mixed in "but I waited for you yesterday". Long story short... I ended up with a different massage therapist, 2 hours later. Although she tried to do a deep tissue, it was Swedish at best. Upon check out, they charged me full price along with a 20%+ fees service fee, No follow up from the director . Came across this spot based on the incredible reviews at affordable prices and booked an 80 minute couples massage for my wife and I for her birthday about a month ago. We showed up at our time today (confirmation email in hand) with no one here. Called multiple times with no answer until I got a call back saying we must have had issues despite having the confirmation. So no massages for us and a waisted couple hours planning around it. They claimed to have had issues like this previously so you would think they would have fixed it, but no. Fantastic massage, and super friendly staff. Im taking off two stars as this spa space is also the hotel gym. The first 60 of the 90 minute massage, I listened to a guy getting after it with the free weights grunting and breathing heavily while voice texting his gf in between sets. The walls are thin and you are 3-4 feet away from the free weight bench in massage room 2. Also, there was a 10% off voucher on Yelp that the manager refused to honor when the masseuse called to ask about it. So in summary, this isn't a spa, but does have spa prices comparable to neighboring hotel spas. Definitely would book elsewhere if wanting a relaxing experience. But if you can find a deal that isn't a bait and switch offer that won't be honored, the masseuses are amazing. read more

Booked here due to it being close to our hotel. A little over an hour before massage was scheduled, we got notified of a leak in the spa and that all appointments needed to be moved to the next day. Understand and no fault there - things happen. The next day, we show up for our appointment for a couples massage, and had a range of small issues while there. One of the masseuses was running late and we were told she was on her way but not sure when she'd be there, then she walked in 1 minute before the appt time. The massage itself was decent, the employees were kind. They were however, not aware of pricing specials or how to use the credit card machine. Check-out had to be done over a phone call they kept cutting out with the manager. When calling their manager, it took 10+ mins to figure out checking us out which was a bit of a hassle- I'd recommend training employees how to use the machine and on what specials are available. At first, we were told price was full price (not the special) and showed the website to him showing the price. We were also a bit surprised they didn't offer a discount or additional service based on canceling on us the day before an hour before (despite it being out of their control, it would have been nice to recognize the issue that caused our appt to change). I don't think we'd go back, however if looking for a quick, cheaper massage, the employees were nice. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! This is not a spa rather a converted hotel room. The massage was less then mediocre. They website encourages you to read the fine print which includes mandatory tip per therapist. Sorry that I didn't read the fine print when I booked the massage on the beach. When we complained about the tip not matching the service we received (as we weren't even offered cup of water) we were referred to the fine print - so be careful! Overall the price didn't justify the service as we ended up paying $350 for a shitty couples massage, in a not so beautiful facilities and not even a cup of water after! I can't post a response to your response, but this is why you don't make tipping mandatory!!! Tipping is usually given for good service! You might not claim to be a spa but your prices are like a spa and if I am not happy with there services for any reason (like you ran out of water - unheard of, but sure) I shouldn't forced to tip $40 dollars for your failure. My husband and I did a 50-min couple's hot stone massage. The massage was fine - definitely not the best we've had, but not the worst, either. For the prices, though, I would have expected more in terms of both skill and ambience. As others have mentioned, the "spa" is also the gym. The bathroom also needs to be cleaned and didn't have any hand soap. If the price was $200 or $250 for two I would rate it better, but for $378 I really think there are better options. read more

I stayed at the hotel while visiting from California for work and decided to try the beautiful spa and I'm glad I did, the treatment transported me to a vacation for the time I was there and I felt like I was far away in an isolated island or in heaven. It was relaxing but also therapeutic which my body really needed. I got rid of my tension and stress at the same time and I now feel like I gained years of life expectancy back. A few days later she realized her gold necklace was forgotten there. She tried to call the store even her English is not good and I tried to call the spa too. The girl who answered phone first said she will find out and will call back in 10-15min which never happened. The second day my mom called again and was told the same as the day before, which never happened either. A day later we called AGAIN and the girl ERICA just being a jerk told my mom she doesnt understand what my mom is saying. The thing is the girl who gave her massage was the one who took her necklace off! We stayed in hotel for a few more days and they been aware of our room number.
