Hubby and I enjoyed our time at K'Alma Spa. The vibe was incredible from the moment we walked in-- let the relaxation commence. After getting changed, we were given mimosas, and a small exercise to set our intentions, before being led hand in hand to the relaxation room where we waited for our services. The relaxation room was cozy, dimly lit, and had an assortment of teas and water for refreshments. It is a shared space but we got to enjoy it privately, and before we knew it our mimosas were refilled and we were on our way to our massage space. My massage was fantastic and made even more memorable with the muscle isolation and stretches performed by my masseuse. My husband enjoyed his as well sharing it was the best he's ever had! If you're looking for a zen escape from the action on ocean drive I highly encourage you to go get a little K'Alma in your life.

Love the holistic vibe. Left feeling much more relaxed.

I love the holistic vibe of this spa. Before my massage, they had me walk down a hall that is lined with different gemstones representing the different chakras. I was asked to choose one, which would indicate what I needed to work on. Then, I was guided through a meditation to help me focus with the aid of a burning incense stick. Afterwards, I was led past the sauna and meditation area to the relaxation room. I was given a glass of bubbly while I waited for my masseuse. My masseuse, Andrea, gave me a fantastic, relaxing massage. I can say that I left the spa with my soul feeling a bit lighter.

Very calming spa located on ocean drive. Came here for a 50 min journey and it was very relaxing. They have a steam room and a meditation room which is convenient for before or after the massage. Pretty relaxing !

This place is fabulous. Not only is the vibe amazing but the service is out of this world. I got a 75 minute massage with Tamra and she was so kind really listened to what I wanted and adjusted the pressure as needed. Definitely will be back soon!

Bivian was the best nail tech. She spoke Spanish but we communicated via google translate and it was so much fun! Her attention to detail was superb. The overall vibe was an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful space, very relaxing and quiet. Nice locker room/dressing area. Located in a really fun area. Massage was great, though the rain stick was a little strange, I'm sure it's just to add to the ambiance. If you're into crystals and all that you'd love the spa even more as they have them all around and give you a stone based on your personal goals (personally I am not into it). Overall a great experience!

Awesome massages, steam room, relaxation room, meditation room, overall an amazing experience and a great escape from the city life!

Amazing massages, steam room, relaxation room, meditation room, overall an awesome experience and a great escape from the city life. The crystal touches are so also really nice.

The Spa was great, no wait time. I received a Deep Tissue Massage from Marcelo, masseuse. If you are looking for firm hands, someone to workout those knots, he is the guy. Extremely professional and knows what he's doing. The pool access at the Victor was amazing, great amenities. Wonderful to Chillax while watching the view of SoBe

I booed this spa via resort pass and it was an incredible deal! 60 minute aromatherapy massage, beach chair with umbrella and valet included for $265 was really a great deal! Lyly, was the young lady who confirmed my appointment and she was also the same personnel at the front desk upon my arrival. She was extremely warm and welcoming. She then led me to Brianna, who worked the spa area and she was incredible! These two girls were a 20/10 with the exceptional service and hospitality in which they provided. The treats and teas were an added touch to the experience. My spa specialist, Marli was nice also and I did fall asleep during the treatment so she nailed it. The beach was PACKED but it was nice with excellent staff and delicious food options. Valet was efficient and friendly. Thank God it was complimentary or that would have been $50 out of pocket. If you were traveling for work and staying at this hotel, and needed a day to just forget that everyone existed, this would be great for that. My friends and I flew down from Richmond during a crazy winter storm and decided to get a day pass here among other things. The day pass included spa access during their open hours, as well as pool access. Unfortunately, because of the unseasonably cool weather, the hotel had not opened the pool which pretty much made the spa the only option for anyone else who had purchased the resort pass too, and I'm just not sure the facilities were up to that task. The spa itself had a relaxation area, which was three lounge chairs in the room with a hot tub and a cold tub. In the room next to that, there was a dry sauna, a wet sauna, and a shower. I'm not a huge fan of the dry sauna, dry heat isn't really my thing, but I did rather like the wet sauna room. It was nice and large, and the hot steamy air felt great on my poor frozen winter storm lungs. The cold plunge pool is also not my thing, but the hot tub was awesome, but it had a couple of pretty huge problems. The first was that it was up a flight of stairs. Everyone in our party has limited mobility in some fashion and One of our party uses a walker and isn't super mobile at all, so it was very difficult to actually make it to the hot tub. Might have been nice to know it wasn't actually accessible before we booked the spa. Luckily, even though she isn't super mobile, she is able to haul herself very slowly up stairs, provided it has a nice sturdy railing... Which it did have a railing... unfortunately the railing was completely loose at the bottom and not particularly sturdy since it was only partially connected. It had stone steps, and due to the nature of the room, they were a bit wet so they had nonskid stickers on them, but it had unfortunately peeled up and was mostly loose. Ultimately, our friend ended up using us as the steady banister to get up the stairs, but that probably wasn't any safer since it wasn't like we had anything to hold onto because again... slippery stairs and loose banister. We made it up safely, and then try to get in the hot tub. The tub itself is square, has a ladder railing, but we couldn't actually see any ladder steps, so we kind of had to guess where was safe to get in the pool. Being the most mobile of the group, I ended up sitting on the edge of the tub and feeling around with my feet until I figured out that the tub has three walls with stone benches around it that we could step on and get in. We only actually figured out after getting out that the pool had sunken footholds in the wall, not an actual ladder. Never would have found those getting in, but learn from our ignorance. The hot tub is awesome, the jets were great and absolutely the thing we needed after the plane flight and freezing winter storms, but everyone else felt that way too, so we were unable to get back in it again like we would have liked. We ended up heading out earlier than we intended and just sitting outside for the rest of our stay. Overall, the place is small, which makes it hit or miss as to whether or not you can use the facilities, which makes it hit or miss as to whether it is a good value for the day pass. You may luck out, or you may strike out.

They also have a Tea Ceremony at 2pm which adds to the luxury vibe. The relaxation Lounge offers a couple of complimentary nibbles (e.g. mixed nuts with dried fruit), cold water, and hot tea. Food is not allowed in the spa but there's a few options in the beautiful Eden Roc hotel, from full on restaurant, to small plates at the bar lounge or Cafe Ines for a happy medium. A word to the wise: the spa is under renovation so sometimes some of the amenities are not working (hot tub, sauna, etc). If you don't want to be disappointed make sure you call ahead and ask. I'm looking forward to see how everything looks when it's finished because the new steam room is lovely.

The other highlight was our massage experience, Eddy, my technician was extremely professional and talented, the best massage I have ever had, so thank you, Eddy! Lastly, the person who scheduled our services over email, Karla Gutierrez, who was very professional and capable. What did not work: Upon checking in, the lady at the counter (in the spa) was unable to provide a breakdown of charges and had a hard time establishing eye contact. Maybe assumptions were made, which is the only explanation I could come up with based on her behavior. Ultimately I gave up and asked for a receipt. My questions were simple, I paid in advance (a deposit) how is it applied? Do they take off the difference? Or do they reimburse and charge again? She was unable to answer. I have her name in my receipt, but I chose to omit it as anyone can have a bad day. My guest and I proceeded to compare facilities with other well known spas: Lapis at the Fontainebleau and Tierra Santa at Faena- which charge similar rates. Let me tell you, the Standard is very subpar in 1) hospitality and 2) Vibe and decor. The standard's decor is art deco and while I understand the look, the place just seemed old. There is only one station for hair drying/makeup in the locker room, the water in my shower was cold, although my guest's was fine. The Hammam stone was use for towel storage as you will see in picture. No guest is shown in the image and I decided to take the picture because I could not believe it and for this review. There was constant walking in and out of the Hammam (by the staff) to replenish, you guessed it, towels, which made the experience far from relaxing. For the price I was expecting much more. We ended up leaving early without using all the services, but we did walk to the sauna, which seemed nice, but it was super full, and the ice room, which was underwhelming. We will not return, hopefully they can give this place a make over and the staff some training.

Then to get to the treatment area you have to walk back across the outside area and the front lobby through the area with guests and all their luggage to the elevator in your robe. This is not a great experience and you must repeat this step after your treatment. The relaxing area is nice and I was excited to find my favorite tea. They only had one China tea cup and the only other option was paper cups for the 5 people in that area. I got the tea cup for myself. I poured the water and the tea pot has cold water in it. I had to start over. The tea kettle was the cheapest Breville tea kettle with not temperature settings. The water got boiling hot but the tea is herbal, green mint or chamomile which doesn't get boiling water. Anyway it was too hot for the tea. My massage therapist was a bit late as they are the ones cleaning the area on the first floor but he apologized and said I still got my full massage time. I didn't mind that. The parking lot next door is under major construction and despite it being Sunday the noise was not massage friendly and I guess the massage rooms had no soundproofing.
