Let me just say that Avi did not disappoint. Not only was this my first time booking a deep tissue here in Miami his communication made the whole process so easy. I read reviews when selecting who and where I wanted to get a massage and upon the reviews I chose The body tech. I came for a short stay and it was necessary to get a much needed massage. Avi is professional and hold a good convo all while setting the ambiance with lighting a subtle tunes. I'm a bigger woman and when I tell you he got all the kinks out, hands down one of the best massages ever. Thank Avi I will look you up again when I'm back in town. read more

Updated March 2026... This massage was even better than last time. I'm a professional massage therapist and amateur weightlifter with chronic injuries. Avi was very targeted with medical/sports technique, handled every area of concern. He addressed the rest of my body as well, was professional and kind with good rapport and excellent hands. Deep pressure, mostly felt amazing. A few times in problem areas it was hard to take but that's how medical massage is, a bit like physical therapy. Trust me it's worth it, the problems were actually treated ntoi glossed over. This is not a "spa experience" but IF YOU ARE IN PAIN OR HAVE CHRONIC TENSION THIS GUY IS THE REAL DEAL. Don't waste your money on a hotel or spa, go to Avi at The Body Tech. I feel SO much better now. read more

I received a gift card for my birthday last year and was out of state for most of the year and could not redeem the gift card in Miami. I was also dealing with health issues that would be negatively affected by a massage. I was in no rush to redeem the gift card since the receipt said that the gift card does not expire. The owner was very rude and called me a "liar". He does not honor gift cards that explicitly state ON AN EMAIL RECEIPT under the TERMS AND CONDITIONS that "the gift card does not expire". He did not offer any refund or even a discount or an apology - just a straight "no". I am unsure why a man would do business with a third party vendor knowing damn well the third party vendor sends emails to customers stating that a gift card "does not expire" in its terms and conditions. What a disappointment. read more

I was a little skeptical of all the good reviews because I've been burned in the past while traveling, but Avi is the real deal. I travel a lot and need frequent adjustments and it's usually a crapshoot. Avi was a super pro. On time, great communication, and excellent technique and knowledge of the body. Strength and precision, the most desirable traits for a massage therapist to have, and Avi has both. So happy that I found Avi, he's my go-to-guy in Miami from now on. read more

here is truly a reason that Avi has 55 five star reviews. After working for seven days straight I was in deep need of a massage . Found Avi on google maps and was easily able to make a last minute appt on their app. The building is really nothing to look at but he certainly makes up for it with excellent technique and a truly understanding of body mechanics. Make your own appt you will be very happy you did. read more

This spot was incredible! You have to go through a whole maze to get there (hole in the wall but that's how you know it's good. Avi was so good. Th massage was UNCOMFORTABLE but in a great way. Avi is an amazing massage therapist! I walked in with all kinds of aches and pains and left feeling like a brand new person after an hour of his deep tissue massage. He clearly knows what he's doing, he's very professional and attentive. Would highly recommend! read more

Best massages we've ever had. I called them up on our last day in Miami and was able to squeeze in an appointment for a couples massage. Avi, the business owner, took my call and was super professional and booking a time slot was easy and seamless. My girlfriend had Alejandro, and I had Avi. Avi was extremely skilled and gave me a deep tissue massage that was honestly painful, but absolutely necessary to cure all of the knots and tensions that my body has accumulated. I could feel the blood flowing to my limbs immediately after he worked on it. He also gave me lots of feedback about my body throughout the massage. My girlfriend wouldn't stop talking about how incredible Alejandro was as well. We walked out of there feeling relaxed, reborn, and ready to tackle the challenges of the world again. We wish we could come back on a regular basis, but we live in NYC. This was also the best experience we had on our vacation. If you're in Miami, don't hesitate. Call Avi now! read more

Still can't believe how much my lower back feels after he did his magic. I say magic because I go to physical therapy weekly and one visit with him and I don't feel like I need PT anymore. He is the real thing if you have back issues. read more

I would go every week to Avi if I lived here! This will NOT be your froofroo massage just having lotion rubbed on you- he will find every area of tension and ever knot and subtly work away at it and the surrounding areas to dissolve what ever you've been holding on to! Very attentive to feedback, he isn't looking to cause pain for the sake of pain- he works in a way that gets at and around the knots so they dissolve with the least discomfort possible. I've had a LOT of massages and therapists like Avi are a special and RARE breed- he knows the ins and outs of anatomy in a way that gains him access to places you didn't even know existed let alone were responsible for holding tension. I am not even from Miami Beach and know I will go back to him every time I visit read more

Wow just wow! He is amazing at what he does! I was in Miami for vacation and was very stressed out . Emotionally drained. My body was stiff and hurting. He made me feel a brand new person! Avi is truly amazing. He's very professional and knowledgeable. He's also very great to talk to. He's engaging and funny. Besides that he's an amazing massage therapist. This was my first time getting a deep tissue massage, and he walked me through what he was doing and what areas were extremely tense. He also provided advice and tips on what I should do to help with my knots. Afterwards, I felt so energized and motivated. I immediately felt like my range of motion increased. read more

First time meeting Avi, great massage, was attentive to my needs and adapted the session to my body's limitations. Highly recommend and will be going back soon. read more

If you are looking for a fast paced, deep tissue experience, Avi is for you. I could hardly walk on my way in, and I could have skipped on the way out. Vacationers, he is conveniently located on Lincoln Road in a cozy, tiny room. Come at the time of your appointment because there is no where to wait except in the hallway. Avi is friendly and warm. And very good at deep tissue massage. But the pain now will be worth it in the end So get out of your hotel where you get an over priced "fluff n buff" and get a real massage. read more

Holy smokes! First of all, Avi is ridiculously good at giving therapeutic massages. As someone who is constantly in the gym and overworking their body, I get massages quite often as part of the recovery process and man, Avi's massage was by far, one of the best I've received in my life. His techniques were really well received and I left feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. If you are visiting Miami, please be sure to make an effort to get a treatment from him. You won't regret it. Aside from the massage, Avi and I had a great conversation and his personality is very warm, welcoming, and comfortable. Will definitely be back next time I'm back visiting Miami! read more

Avi is an incredible body worker! Found him here on Yelp. I'm a cameraman with very tight shoulders and I was having lower back pain. He truly got knots out I didn't know I had! He is not for the faint of heart and really worked through muscles that were rock. He feels into where you are tight and breaks it down. Post massage was definitely feeling it but after tons of water and a good nights rest, I've never felt better. read more

Great and effective massage that targeted my tightest spots. Avi did a great job and really knew how to dig in to tense muscles. I highly recommend for an effective deep tissue massage! read more

One of the most therapeutic massages I've ever had. His hands are healing. Avi, was able to loosen areas in my back that were very tight for many years. This was my first deep tissue massage. It was very uncomfortable for the first couple of minutes. But once my body started getting used to the pressure. I was able to relax. My body feel absolutely amazing. Avi, is passionate about his craft. I will highly recommend his services. Every time I visit Miami, I will book an appointment with him. read more

Very accommodating for travelers last minute booking a massage! I called wanting a couples massage and the owner went out of his way to arrange for staff to come in to accommodate my time frame. The massage itself was amazing! Mine was very relaxing just like I like it, my boyfriend did his with the owner since his back is always messed up from martial arts and the owner really knew his stuff when it came to sports massage. My boyfriend usually complains they never use enough pressure and finally had a massage that worked out all his knots. Highly recommend. read more

My massage therapist Alejandro was excellent, friendly, and super professional. He kindly walked me in from the lobby (it can be a bit hard to find) -- and with 20+ years of experience he expertly worked out the knots in my shoulders and back. Loved the minty lotion that was used. I've been to so many deep tissue massage places and have to say this is one of the best I had! Plus the price is so reasonable too. Felt so relaxed and happy. Definitely recommend - I'd love to come back! read more

I had been craving a good strong massage for quite a while, my back and shoulders were now in pain, and most of the time every masseur would not put enough pressure for me and end up feeling like just a rubdown... then I ran into Avi!! Absolutely amazing! Strong, on point and really listening to my body. He kept checking on me and ensured the pressure was right and I that was pleased. In addition, very nice guy, convenient location, nice clean place, ambiance was great. I will be coming back for sure! read more

Avi is an absolute magician. My muscles are basically knotted hardwood and most massage therapists don't stand a chance, but Avi is on a different level - he gave me a REAL massage, probably the best I've ever had. Will have to come back to Miami just to see my man again. read more

Avi was a fantastic masseuse and super personable. I felt so much more relaxed and on less pain than when I walked in. He combines techniques for a perfect massage with excellent pressure! I wish I wasn't on vacation so I could make use of his skill on a regular basis! Highly recommend!! read more

I was in Miami for a quick get away and wanted to treat myself to a massage and I was fortunate to find Ari through a quick internet search of the area and he was so kind, gracious and courteous. Given the short notice and his own schedule was booked for the day, Ari promptly connected me with a couple of his team members to schedule an appointment for me. I made an appointment with Chelsea for an hour and it was pure heaven. Her pressure and techniques were just perfect for my tight and sore muscles. I play a lot of tennis and have to sit a lot at times due to my job, so she got to all the right spots. My only regret was that my session wasn't longer! Merci Ari and team! I hope to be back in your beautiful city soon and would love to book again with you! read more

Avi is absolutely amazing! He is professional with great knowledge of how to work on muscles. He has truly helped me feel relieved from my tight shoulders and sour backs. Even though I tried to book the appointment in a last minute situation, Avi was very friendly, and kindly helped me booked one on his first available schedule, I truly appreciate it. If you have tried a lot of masseurs that has disappointed you before, you have to give Avi a try, I promise you, he will make you feel great and relaxed! read more

Avi is the best in town. The healing of his massage goes above the body talking about the soul. His use of essential oil's makes the experience extraordinary. I gave myself a massage with him which by the way is very reasonably priced on my birthday and it made the day better. I like the tissue massage but sometimes the therapists are too strong. In his case, he was careful to apply the pressure that worked for me. Pighly recommended A++++ read more

All around amazing! If I could give 6 stars I would! Ari has worked magic on my body. Very professional and super talented. He does exactly what your body needs. He also uses cbd lotion to help relax your muscles further. read more

Great massage! I came in with muscle pain and now I'm feeling a lot better. Very thorough.

INCREDIBLE!! Just wow, avi is amazing at what he does. Truly a gem of a person, Avi is very skilled and professional. I have been getting massages for years due to my chronic upper back & neck pain from spending too much time focusing on the computer screen. In the first 5 minutes he cracked my back in a way that it has never been cracked, thus releasing years of tension and making me far less stiff/brick-like. My range of motion improved greatly from his deep-tissue massage. Prices are extremely reasonable (especially reasonable massage price for miami beach) and I did not hesitate to purchase a package after my first massage. Truly a worthy investment. I recommend getting the package to save on massages. He also does stretching & wastes no time finding and addressing problem areas. Thanks Avi for being the very best! read more

Came to Miami with lots of knots and achy muscle pains and Avi saved me! This is a strong therapeutic massage to loosen things up and not for the weak. Been to many therapists that are not able to get to the root of the problem. Felt so much better afterwards. I wish I had a therapist like Avi back home! Will be back to Avi when I come to Miami! read more

Thought I was signing up for a simple deep tissue massage and wound up with the an exorcism to my muscles. Avi is a pro through and through. I work out a lot and spend a lot of time on the computer like many others. Although i practice plenty of yoga and consider myself to be flexible and well stretched i learned otherwise in my session. I highly recommend the 90 min session so you don't miss out on what your body needs. Every second is worth it. Cannot stress this enough to make a visit to get your massage and really let him free to do his work. It might be painful, but he makes you very comfortable as he works through your knots and uses natural products to help calm your nerves. Also very funny and generally great dude. Do not miss out on Avi!!! read more

Seriously. The answer to my prayers. I've been so stressed out and in angst that I thought that I needed a "relaxing" time and would treat myself to a massage. I found Avi here on Yelp and his top-to-bottom 5-stars reviews convinced me to schedule an appt. Ok, done. I come in today and the session starts with me feeling some pain in my tight, beat up muscles and fascia adhesions. This session was more powerful than any other talk therapy session I've had in a long time. A lot of "junk" was released together with my muscles aches and pains. I'm feeling so light and happy right now, one hour after the session with this gifted therapist. Even so that I've scheduled the 6 sessions package with him. Will take care of myself so I can care for others. read more
