While doing physical therapy for my most recent shoulder surgery at the VA, I noticed their sign across the street and made the call. They saw me immediately. From that moment, everything changed. I've had countless massages over the years, none of which delivered the depth of relief I truly needed. As with other massage therapists in the past, I asked the therapist not to hold back--and unlike those in the past that approached me timidly, she didn't. What followed was the most effective, deeply therapeutic bodywork I've ever experienced. Her expert use of elbows and forearms targeted deep muscle layers with unmatched precision. For the first time in years, I felt my upper back and neck begin to release. When she reached the tension in my neck, I nearly wept--from sheer relief. And that's not something I say lightly.
