I am very picky about my manicures/ nails and toes and Yuni was incredible in doing exactly what I wanted. She is very detailed and took her time with every aspect of my gel manicure and regular pedicure. The prices seem affordable and fair given that everything has gone up in price these days. The salon itself is small but it is the perfect size. They have a good selection of colors to choose from ranging from OPI to DND and more. I enjoyed the massage chair while I got my feet done and Yuni was very gentle with my pedicure. Overall, Royal Salon was great and you should definitely check them out :)

I got an appointment for a pedicure on December 31st because the place is close by where I was staying and it seemed legit but I forgot to look at the reviews. I don't want to get into details, that is not the intention of this review, the place looks nice on the outside but is a living hazard. No lining on the bowls, tools not sanitized or sterilized, I can go on and on. Today is January 6th and I have set an appointment with a podriatrist and considering following with legal advice because the emotional and physical pain I have been experiencing has been excruciating. I've had sleepless nights, I can't walk, I had to take days off from work and I live in seasonal weather therefore can't wear open toe shoes. I'm literally suffering. My job requires me to be on my feet and I'm unable to do so for extended periods. Please hire experienced people, this young lady had no idea what she was doing, she kept talking from corner to corner to another woman about becoming influencers and not focusing on the job that was being presented, she went too deep with the cuticle cutter, made me bleed, didn't clean the wound and it got extremely infected. I still left her a tip but little did I know it was going to cost me a trip to the hospital. Worst experience ever.

I think the whole salon is pretty much all Cuban. I can speak to my girl in English, but pretty much no one else in their is speaking English which I could careless about. That is not to say they can't obviously. I only care that my hair looks fab when I leave which is why I drive 45 minutes each way to see her. There are several other hair ladies, and technicians available to do nails or pedicures. I don't know any of them or have had services done by them but the salon never stops! Get cultured and go have a Cuban coffee or pastel from a couple doors down at the Latin place. Do it!!!!

Expecting me to hear a "detailed explanation" shouted from another station while my assigned technician was looking at their cell phone is not an accommodation; it is a lack of respect. Security footage also cannot record the snickering I encountered when seeking clarification on whether the service was complete. Furthermore, your staff provided three different price points during my visit ($40, then $65, then $30). Pointing to a posted list does not excuse the confusion caused by your staff's inability or unwillingness to communicate clearly. Kindness and accessibility matter. The nail techs are all sooo amazing and the place is extremely well priced compared to other spots I've been to. They do it all from hard gel, acrylics, apres, to gorgeous nail art. I have over 100 pictures of designs and colors I've done with both Tom and lieu and I've always loved them. We always get treated like family by both Tom and lieu and till this day we keep in touch via social media. They watched me grow up from a teenager to young adult to even getting married! I haven't been able to go back as I live so far away from Hialeah but I hope to one day visit back and do my nails just like old times. I have nothing but good things and love for these two and for their business which they manage amazingly. Tom is know for his jokes and laughs and lieu is known for her amazing skills in designs. I walked in with no appointment and they were able to accommodate me and remove my dip powder. The removal was gentle and they used pure acetone. I did not like that the woman who removed my dip left the skin around my nails full of chunks of dip. Since I was there I decided to try their deluxe spa pedicure since so many people were getting pedicures while I removed my dip. The deluxe pedicure was more expensive and included a scrub, mud mask, warm towel, cooling lotion, and extra massage. I quickly was dissatisfied with my pedicure because the woman who was doing it did not take her time with the cuticle care. She simply pushed them back and did not take the time to remove all the dead skin. Then when it came to the extras, I found that they were all packets of masks that you can purchase yourself. I did not get extra massage and found the deluxe spa to be underwhelming. The icing on the cake was the nail polish. The lady who painted my toes left so many gaps on the edges of my nails with no nail polish. It's like she did the bare minimum. She was really kind and helped me find the perfect nude for my toes but I would not pay for another pedicure from this place.
