My mom and I have been doing our nails here since I was a teenager back in high school and I'm 23 now! We would always enjoy our time here and our nails. I have over 100 pictures of designs and colors I've done with both Tom and lieu and I've always loved them. We always get treated like family by both Tom and lieu and till this day we keep in touch via social media. They watched me grow up from a teenager to young adult to even getting married! I haven't been able to go back as I live so far away from Hialeah but I hope to one day visit back and do my nails just like old times. First Time coming here & Not Happy!!! The 2 ladies working there were very nice but the salon lacked in hygiene. There were no liners on the pedicure bowls, the massage was not relaxing, no scrub, no hot towels and it was $45 for a gel pedicure. I'm kind of regretting the gel polish though the nails were perfect but the gel polish made it look a little thick. Update** I called about it and told me to come in to get it fixed for free! My nail lady where I usually go cancelled my appointment and I had to find a last-minute resort for my nails within the hour. I almost didn't find it because the sign was not very legible, but FYI it's on the right of the CHURROS place and if you call, the owner will direct you. WALK IN ONLY-first come, first served. If you are not physically present, you cannot be "in line," so beware that you cannot make the line for others, even if they drop you off. I went on a Friday around 5 p.m. and there were 3 people working there with about 5-6 people in line waiting and I was the third person in line. I waited about 15-20 min. SERVICE: This is not a spa or classy luxurious resort-style place with high standards, so don't expect professional and top-of-the line service. You're in and out. I was not able to communicate with the older Vietnamese lady who did my feet because she did not speak English or Spanish. She didn't do a great job polishing my toes, and I had to ask someone else to let her know I wanted another coat. HOWEVER, Lieu saved the day. She speaks English well and did a GREAT job fixing the polish on my feet and gave me a beautiful gel manicure. Lieu was fast! She also knew her colors well (which ones matched properly with the feet) and changed one of the colors in the set to make it right. I would definitely go back to have my nails done only by Lieu. (The 4-star rating is because of her, but if she wasn't there it would have earned 2). I went here because my normal place was booked. The Asian guy did my nails. I asked for square. They were crooked. I had to keep telling him how to fix it. He did not like it. Filing harsh. Horrible job. In days the gel was lifting. The hispanic woman did the regular pedicure. Very nice lady but work was messy. Nail polish split and peeled off my toe not even a week. I am assuming its old. The guy said $50 on phone then charged me $55. I gave the lady a tip for her personality. She tried fixing the messy toes but not well done. read more

I went to go get my nails done here last year, it wasn't my first time but I feel like writing a review because how talented she is, super nice. So I came in for a Gucci inspired nail design, which was 30$ for the design. I don't remember how much was the new set but it totaled around 90-100$ she did an amazing job. And for the price you get what you pay for, nails are NOT cheap so I was very satisfied about her performance and she did my eye brows and they were amazing. They overcharge me every time ago but since they normally do a good job I turn a blind eye. Today is where I draw the line. I've been going to this place for YEARS and today they completely lost me as a customer. I had two broken nails that I came to fix since they were just a few days old. Lieu started in a rush and cut me. Fine. Whatever. I get passed to her husband after the cut. Fine. Whatever. He starts on my nails while talking on the phone and I see him filing too much so I kept saying hey you're going too far youre doing coffin nails (WHICH I FUCKING HATE) and guess what? He kept going. After realizing what he did he goes uhhh why don't we just change all of your nails to coffin. Fine. Whatever. It's late. I wanna go home to my child. He then proceeds to file down all the other ones and rushes to put clear coat (which I had to tell him to do if not he would've left it looking crustier than what they already do). He completely fucks that up too. And the kicker?? They charged me $10 for all this shit. I'm so angry at how they tried me knowing I've been a loyal customer for over 6-7 years. I'm so disappointed. Came in here after I got my car washed since it was close by and had good yelp reviews. I walked in and they had a few customers. Thankfully I only had to wait ten minutes to be seen. I got a mani pedi for $30 which is a good price. They have the nice pedi stations with the massage stations and foot tubs, not like those other places where they just put a basin in front of you. The price is awesome considering the lady was really nice and did a great job on my nails and my pedicure. There's nothing better than getting a fresh manicure pedicure and I think I will be a regular from now on. They also offer waxing and gel manicures which I may try eventually. The only downside is that they are cash only so be prepared and bring cash or go next door to the atm. It would be so much better if they took credit cards though. read more

I've been coming here a while now for my nails and eyebrows, and while the shop is small and quiet, Lieu and Tom are so fun to talk to while getting whatever it is you're getting done. Sometimes, they'll even offer colada or hot churros from the churro place next door. They're both so talented and open to different styles, and the prices are fair. they have A SIGN OVER THE DESK THAT SAYS "CASH ONLY", but they have an atm and Lieu also takes Cashapp which is so convenient! Aside from being unprofessional, they lack hygiene. I rarely leave reviews especially if they're not positive, but this was the worst nail experience I've ever had in my life. I'm continuing this review from google. He said, well, we've never had that happen to someone before either and she takes pride in her artistry. He asked me what I would have him do. I explained that I have no problem paying for good artistry but the issue was that not only were these not the nails I wanted in the first place but that they didn't even hold up for a full week! I asked if he wouldn't mind just taking the nails off and doing just regular ombré manicure with zero acrylic. At first he said we would be able to fix it but then he said he would have to charge me in full because he doesn't know what I've been doing during the funeral and that I could just be trying to get money out of them. I was taken aback by that statement and kindly asked if I could speak with his wife. I showed her my nails and explained what had happened and she immediately started going off on me saying it was my fault my nails looked that way and that this is the second time I returned to their shop, all because I just want free services. I calmly said, that is not true, you are the one who told me to return in the first place bc you didn't properly fulfill my request the first time and did the color you wanted. They both began to berate me and say I probably broke them on purpose and created a story just to come back here because I don't want to pay. I was completely disgusted and shocked they were yelling at me this way in front of their customer. I said, you're not going to pull this on me. I am a servant of the public (I'm a local court reporter) and this is my community. When I saw your shop, I decided to try it out bc I saw it had decent reviews and I am not someone who needs to take advantage of people. I am 27 years old, a small business owner myself, and I want to put money INTO my community, not take money out of it. I told them, I have nothing but respect for small business owners and would like nothing more than to civilly, calmly resolve the situation, go on to write them a nice review for their effort, and even return when it's time to get my next mani pedi. They said well we're NOT doing your nails today unless you pay in full. I said that's fine, all I want instead is just for you to take these broken nails off. No color no nothing just take off. He said fine but it's $10 to take them off. I asked why? He said because that's going to be the price and you have to pay now, not after. I was totally turned off by that as well, I said that's really unprofessional but I said fine. The wife obliged and told me to sit down and began to pull out her tools. Then the husband randomly interjected and said actually no we're not doing anything for her today! Stand up, you can leave. I said why?? He said because at this point you're harassing us, saying we're not good business owners. I said how am I harassing anyone? He said just leave now or I'll call the police! I looked over at the other customer in the shop in total bewilderment and she stared back at me nervously, and shocked. I said honestly you're taking it to another level but do what you have to do. He then took a picture of me on his cell phone on the spot without my consent (illegal by the way) while he began calling the police. He said I have a crazy customer here she won't leave and she is harassing us. He said she looks very unstable, probably in her 30's and I heard him pause awkwardly and go she's...BLACK, and looked at me like he was scared for his safety (trying to paint me as the angry black woman stereotype- again a disgusting immature display) as I just stood there and watched calmly. He said I'm going to take a picture of your license plate too! I said go right ahead, I know it by heart actually, would you like me to write it down for you? I asked the woman in the shop if she could believe what is happening right now and she said no I've never had this experience before (she was white), you're not wrong but don't stay and give them a reason to have the police called on you. I instead sat down calmly and waited for the police to arrive. After about 7 minutes I said you know what, you all are completely unprofessional, and do not treat your customers with respect. I'm taking my business next door. I left and decided not to give them the satisfaction of going back and forth with them with cops involved no less, as I've never had to interact with police domestically in my entire life. Unfortunately the salon next door does not do take off. I left the plaza and never looked back. I know that was long to read, but this injustice cannot go unreported. Once again I urge you, take your business elsewhere! They do not honor "artistry" nor do they have a modicum of human dignity and respect. The fact that they each chose to point out my skin color on two separate occasions speaks volumes. read more

This nail shop is one of the best! They work fast without compromising quality and they offer exceptional customer service. I am very rough with my nails, I even had a 50 lb suitcase fall on one of my finger, the nail didn't even loosen. After 2 weeks with them on, it only looked like a week had passed, compared to other nail shops. Unfortunately, I had to remove them after 2 weeks because I was starting an internship in healthcare and wanted to appear as professional as possible, it took me so long to take them off!! Normally, a simple 30 min soak allows removal, this required hours, just goes to show the quality of materials used and level of skill. As far as customer service goes, whenever I have to take my son with me, David the owner puts on cartoons and offers him candy, my son loves coming here too! David has a lot of experience working with nails, I have been following him to different shops for about 8 years now!
