Price is great. got a pedicure and a gel manicure. During my manicure, my nail tech cut my skin where it bled on both my thumbs while cutting my cuticle. I'm willing to go back but not with the same nail tech to give it another chance. read more

I was assisted by a young woman, and her service was good--very good, in fact. However, my daughter was treated terribly; they moved her to a different station and then passed her off to a man who treated her poorly and yanked her arm. Before that, a woman had been absolutely awful to her, paying her no attention when my daughter asked to use the restroom--the woman told her she had to wait 10 minutes--and after that, they all started giving my daughter dirty looks. read more

I went in feeling very happy to get my nails done, but honestly, I do not recommend it at all because I was treated terribly. First, a woman started doing my nails but then refused to finish them. When I asked to use the restroom, she told me to wait. Next, a man took over; he kept yanking my hands around and worked with a visibly annoyed attitude. The entire service was poor, and everyone working there kept giving me dirty looks. read more

This place is not bad as the nail techs take their time and do some massage no matter if it's a manicure or pedicure. I decided to do both with my mother as she recommended this location and she has been satisfied with their services. I had Ashely as my nail tech and she is gentle when cleaning nails and cutting the cuticles without making me bleed. I did the regular manicure and pedicure which I did have a few mishaps where I accidentally rubbed two of my fingers against their massage chair and Ashley was able to fix it nicely. Everyone there is friendly and nice and my mother would joke around with them and they join along. (P.S. My mother would go to Lee for her nails but he was busy so she had Kevin which she was still satisfied with his work) This place is small but great services. I do love that they have a massage chair while getting my pedicure done and they have an air dry table at the front if nails are still wet. read more

I've tried so many mail places and I live in brickell now and I drive across town just to go see Ty. I've met eveyone here and everyone is really nice. Some of the young guys are not so experienced which is understandable but all the women and almost everyone is very sweet and very accommodating if you want to have small changes or like your nails in a specific way. I love this place. They give me fresh coconuts, make me laugh, are super comfortable and I leave with awesome beautiful nails that last 3 weeks. But all in all Ty is my guy and I hate it when he can't do my nails lol. But I could easily pick anyone else here and they'll be fine just right. My nails have been done for three weeks and they still look amazing! read more

Came to this location to soak off my dipped nails, crazy because he literally had me soak my nails is acetone no foil wrapped but I saw them doing it for another lady. Then he filed off the dip on my nails and said ok done. I informed him I wanted them cut down, the cuticles done and a clear gel polish. He was too rough with my nails I could feel the heat from him filing it down. My cuticles were bleeding when I left. When I left I went to the store to get my own gel polish because the layer was too thin. You can tell this place is about numbers not actually taking their time. I couldn't make it to my nail tech so I came here but next time I'll find time To go. Avoid this place! read more

People at this salon are rude as hell! If you're going to talk about someone in another language at least try to be discreet about it. 0 stars, do not recommend. read more

I love ty he is my go to, i've been going to get my nails done here for years! Highly recommend this place and they are nice (:

I was skeptical about this nail salon since the last couple of reviews have not been favorable, but I'm glad I decided to check it out. Upon arrival I was greeted and directed immediately to a nail tech with no wait time. Although I didn't get the name of the girl that did my nails, I 10/10 recommend this nail salon. I did gel pedi, dip manicure and even stepped out of my comfort zone and got my eyebrows waxed with the same girl. She took her time, was extremely professional and did an amazing job all around. Will definitely be coming back! read more

If I can give this location zero stars I would. The disrespect of knowing I been sitting there for one hr acknowledging I was there. The manager asked what services I needed I informed him. Mind you I showed up with my sister at the same time and lady showed up after. My sister got called next and I was skipped while they called the lady next. To me that's extremely disrespectful I left work early to get there before it got packed waited and hour and still got skipped ? The manager still had the audacity to scream at me when I informed him that was disrespectful what he did. Lack of customer service and waste of Time Never again!! read more

First time and service was excellent. They are being COVID precautious. Honestly my tech took her time w/pedi & love the results

I moved to Miami a year ago and I have been trying to find a nail salon that does my nails exactly how I request them. Today I finally found one. I found this nail salon on Yelp and I made an appointment to give them a try. I went in told them I had an appointment no wait time. I sat with the sweetest girl named Nina. I told her how I wanted my nails done and she executed them exactly how I requested. I am so happy with my results that I told everyone I know to try them out. I can honestly say that they have found a loyal customer for years!!! Thank you thank you. Just as an fyi bring cash for tip. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Very rude, made my friend feel like trash after having a baby making rude comments with no apology and continuing to laugh throughout the entire appointment and trash talking to the coworkers about her. DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

I've gone to J&J nails since I was a teenager (I'm 37 now) and even though I've since moved away from Miami, I still get my nail done here when I come to visit. I came in with a broken big toe nail. They immediately took care of me, despite being a walk in, they advised me on the proper care for my nail going forward, and completely fixed my ugly big broken toenail. I could not be happier. Ashley is the one who took care of me. She's a perfectionist with an eye for detail. So happy I came here. read more

So many nail places and I mean BAD ones! These bad ones are usually packed with people, reeking of acrylic and you leave there wondering why you paid 20 dollars for a nail polish change? Thankfully, this is not the case at J & J, the staff here are exceptionally polite and friendly and the services are pretty good. Did I mention they're clean too?! I know, what a shock, no fungus here ladies! The offer acrylic nails, regular mani's and pedi's as well as a full wax menu. They are also reasonably priced, a pedicure runs 18$. read more

Contact and make all of your appointments with Ty! I've gone to several nail salons with different people and I didn't like anyone that has done my nails until three years ago when I met Ty from a friend who has gotten her nails done by him. He is amazing! He does all types of shapes for acrylic beautifully, is great with art on nails, is hilarious to speak with, great with dipping powder and natural nails. He could do everything! I drive all the way from Cutler Bay to go to him. That says a lot since driving in Miami os my least favorite thing to do but I do it for my nails! Call and ask for Th today! He books up quickly :) read more

Never come here!!!! I used to come here all the time with mom and slowly throughout the years the quality of this nails salon has gone down hill. I did my acrylics a young boy which should of been the first mistake. This looked horrible! When I told the manager he began to yell at me and became hostile. This place is really good at acrylics I really like the ones that I got done, the lady that attended me was very quick and each nail came out well shaped. My nails hurt a little bit even tho it has never hurt when I got acrylics and since my cuticles are sensitive I bled on one nail but that just me. I got too get used to them I guess. I didn't make an appointment because I called earlier and they said that I could just walk in. I was charge $25, for a regular straight acrylics it's $20 but since I wanted it coffin shaped she charged me $5 extra. All in all it was nice and I would come back and recommend it read more

this salon is so bad. I've never left a place so unhappy in my life. Never come here I had an "appointment" and didn't leave the salon til 8:30. I basically had to micromanage and fight the lady the whole time she was doing my nails because it was so bad and I asked her multiple times to remove them and she refused. The owner fixed them and made them "perfect" but they look like shit. He's so ducking rude and didn't even offer a discount. They didn't deserve my money and they hire people who don't know what the fuck they're doing. Everyone at the salon was in shock of how ugly these nails were. I'm so pissed off read more

Came last minute to do my nails. They take walk ins and I waited maybe 20 minutes. Thai was extremely accommodating, funny and did an excellent job with my French manicure. My favorite part of J&J nails is the pedicure. The pedicure provided puts me practically to sleep. It's relaxing and they give you a deep muscle and foot massage that is better than any other pedicure massage I've had in Miami. Their price is very competitive and comprable to the service provided. read more

My experience at J&J Nails exceeded my expectations. By far the best experience I've ever had, I wasn't able to catch the nail tech's name, however he was attentive, time-efficient, detail-oriented and absolutely skilled in his profession. The quality of service here depends highly on the person you get. It's either really good or horribly bad. I am forced to give them one star due to the fact that they even dare employ people with no experience or skill (probably no license either). If you have to get a mani/full set I recommend the younger girls but for pedicures I highly recommend the older ladies. NEVER get them done with a male, you'll be so disappointed and angry! As for the the actual salon.... They aren't very clean and there's dust on everything but hey, what do you expect from a cheap Asian nail salon. read more

This is my 3rd time getting a full set and a gel pedi done here. The place is convenient because they're always available for walk ins, but consider getting something simple rather than some cute, crazy design. It's not gonna happen. So I chose to do a solid color today (out of the very limited and similar colors they have), and it was cute, except the shaping was rushed and not precise, plus my left nails were butchered. Four of my fingers are BURNING right now . I hesitated coming back because last time my soak off was brutal, and it took me forever to heal, but the french tips I had gotten previously were done decent and the shape wasnt as bad. This time they look like blocks. I just did them yesterday, and am getting them removed tomorrow at a different spot. The pedicure is decent, but I'd say it's pretty hard to mess a pedi up anywhere anyways. The customer service kinda sucks. They usually forget to say hello, welcome, or have any kind of greeting at first. They literally stare at you and ask what do you want. But they get the job done quick, if you just need to fix your nails to seem presentable somewhere on short notice. It's the last time I come here though. Hope it helps! read more

This is my second time here and the quality of the work is pretty decent. Not the absolute best but not the worst either, for $25 gel mani and $20 regular pedi I really can't complain. They have a good amount of gel colors but not a lot or regular polish. I think I'll be coming back here because of the price. Update! A good majority of my gel nails have peeled off and it hasn't even been a week. Idk if I'll come back. read more
