The pedicure spa packages start around $30 and go up from there. We got the deluxe package for $50. I treated my mom for our mother daughter day of relaxation. We had the gel nail polish so they charge a bit more on top of the spa package. So it was a total of $122 for two deluxe spa with gel/shellac. I used to enjoy coming into this place but the last several times I've had to wait longer 20-30 minutes, even though I've made an appointment at a certain time. They get upset if I run a few minutes late, but they run late many times. The clear polish also don't last long as they used to. One of the main employees, I believe her name was Jasmine, she went on vacation so another lady was in charge. I do not recall her name. Shorter lady with glasses. The last time I was in there, there were 2 elderly men both at separate times that day. One of the elderly men said he didn't have enough money for tip and only had enough money for his pedicure and Lift Money. The employee said "YOU HAVE TO TIP!!" in a very loud voice. He once again said he didn't have enough money to tip and she looked at this cash and said that he had enough money in which it didn't look like he did. The other elderly man that I had seen was also there for a pedicure. He had given the employee cash (This place only takes cash) and she started to count out the money for the pedicure. The she started to count out money for her tip. She gave back his change and he was confused with the missing change and asked where was all his money. She replied to him "TIP". I see some negative reviews and it makes me bummed because that's not the experience I have here at all! This is the only place I come to get my pedicures, and have been loyal for a few years now. I tell everyone to go here! As with any business, I believe if you put nice and friendly energy out to the people who work there, they will take great care of you. So maybe the people who had bad experiences with the staff weren't exactly being the friendliest customer either. Anyway, Jasmine is my go-to gal. She is so meticulous and pays close attention to the tiniest details, so my nails always turn out PERFECT and the shellac pedicure lasts me a full month or more! She even remembers exactly what I want every time I call, and asks how things are going and seems to really care and treat me like a friend when I'm there. That, TO ME, is great customer service. Plus, this salon goes above and beyond with their pedicures and have a crazy buffing tool that no other salon I've ever been to has, that makes your feet extra smooth and beautiful. I have been going to Galaxy Nails for at least 10 years and the customer service has fluctuated and is never consistent. The lack of customer service really starts with Jasmine who is the owner. She is rude to customers and argumentative often. I have come in and been greeted and I have come in and had the silent treatment from Jasmine and her right hand person Cathy. I have also witnessed the poor treatment they give customers which makes one feel very uncomfortable. I continue to go to Galaxy because I like the product and a few of the employees are actually nice (Ivy ). I recently made an appointment and had not written it down so I missed. I have NEVER missed an appointment there so this was a first. Jasmine called me and asked where I was and I was very apologetic and embarrassed that I had missed. An honest mistake. I made an appointment about a month and a half later and when I arrived jasmine was rude. She looked at me and than looked away without saying anything then ivy looked up and said hi in which I said hi back as it was so nice to see her! I overheard Jasmine say to Ivy that I had not shown up for an appointment right in front of me! I was embarrassed and I went and sat down. I waited about 20 minutes and could see that Jasmine was not with a customer and felt she was ignoring me intentionally so I left. I went to V and V in Beaverton and had an Amazing experience. I was greeted warmly and taken care of so moral of this long story is that I will NEVER go back to Galaxy. They are rude and it's obnoxious. Jasmine did an awesome job, perfect shape, perfect colour and she pays great attention to detail. I was greeted straight away when I walked in and was seated within minutes, she matched the colour of my pre existing pedicure to my manicure perfectly. Throughout the whole process she kept checking in with me: what shape I'd like etc. I love the fact that she is so meticulous with her work, every nail is exactly the same length and my cuticles look fantastic. In addition to the pristine gel manicure she is such a sweet lady; you can tell that clients really love her and she has built solid relationships with regular clients. Every one wants to feel like a brand new baby after a pedicure, well with Galaxy Nail and Spa they will have you feeling just like that. Walk-ins and appointments welcome but you will have to wait either way. They are also a cash only location which means bring cash or pay the atm fee and get cash from their on-site ATM machine. They offer a multitude of pedicures but my favorite is the one with the calluses remover. They use a high powered drill with a sanding bit attached to the end. After a foot soak and calluses creamer they go at your feet, collecting all of the dead skin. At the end you can see about 1/8 of a pound of dead skin from the bottom of my feet. The rest of the pedicure is just the same. Nails always look good. I'd love to tell you my favorite nail tech but they are all good. read more

Be prepared to take a lot of verbal orders. The owner was bossy i.e. "sit here" " choose your polish" "no, I won't look for your existing color that's all we have." Polish colors are limited to glitter, neon, and off shades, there are no true classic high end reds, and no neutrals whites or pale pinks. I just had hip surgery and when I sat down to show the nice pearl color from my last pedicure there in order for them to see if they could match it I was reprimanded for not having found the color myself. I tried this business because of the $27 advertised price, but it really was about $35. They charge you for everything, and you should know they only accept cash. They do have an ATM but you are charged to use it, and then your bank, like mine charged me too. The fees were an additional $5.00. Galaxy does not let you bring your own nail kit to use so, you have to buy a new one from them. Another thing to keep in mind is that there is a fee/charge to take your existing polish off. The staff were not very friendly, and I felt more like a problem to them rather then a customer. I actually over heard one business worker being angry with a customer for how her nails looked. I was embarrassed for her and couldn't believe that a business would treat anyone like that. I did leave a tip, another several dollars on top of their fees and costs. I won't be back and I hope they read and will make it policy to inform clients/customers if all the fees and policies prior to starting their services. read more

Very unprofessional, sloppy work, I have given this place so many chances but more often than not the work is just not good, either the shape is uneven, or the acrylic is too thick or the polish is all over or has lost of bubbles most of the time I let it slide if it's not too noticeable but this time it was really bad and I went back the next day and was told I need to pay to have them fixed, after being a regular at this place for several years I was shocked at the way I was treated the mistake was very clearly on their end but they refused to take responsibility and just want to make more $$. Came here for my very first mani and pedi.. Cleanliness 4* - Overall, seemed like a very clean place. All the tools seemed to be in sterilized pouches which are opened for each new customer. Service 5* - For a first timer, no pain and no complaints. They did my mani and my pedi and we did paraffin for the feet (very interesting!). Excellent job with scrubbing off the deadskin on the feet with the dremel.. lol!! They even offer you a cup of hot tea to sip on while they work on you. Overall: I got my nails done for the very first time and they did quality work. This is also where I fell in love with color changing gel nail poilsh (I am hooked). I have been coming here for YEARS... I have also had a love/ hate relationship with them. Don't get me wrong they're the best that I have found here in Oregon so far and I have tried a lot of places. Cathy, Jasmine, Ivy and another tech I can't remember her name are the only ones I trust. They are the best. I always make an appointment now because you could end up waiting forever without one. Even with an appointment you wait 10-20 minutes (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE TIME AND ARE NOT IN A RUSH TO BE/GO ANYWHERE) You will not be disappointed if you got shellac done here its smooth, no bubbles and evenly spread. The shellac last a very long time and doesn't peel for a while. Mines usually last 2-3 weeks depending. However, I am constantly required to wash my hands for my occupation and I do a lot of gardening and dishes at home. The prices here are very reasonable and most likely the cheapest you will come across. I get the #2 pedicure ($20) , shellac manicure ($20), Lip & Brow waxing ($15). I have been here several times when I am running errands in the shopping Center. The staff dies a great job and I am always pleased with my nails and toes. They only take cash but there is an ATM inside for convenience. They offer waxes. This is the only thing that brings it down a star. I have gotten my underarms several times over the years and I feel I am pretty good at tolerating the pain of it. If this is your first time or you are still new, do not get waxed here. Upon reading the reviews here, I booked ahead and asked for the $25 "#3" Pedicure, which includes extensive callus removal and paraffin wax treatment. Considering I run a lot, and when I'm not running I tend to be wearing heeled shoes, I am really happy to have found a salon in Beaverton that does such thorough callus removal! I actually ended up showing up really early for my appointment and asking if they could fit me in earlier, and after about a 20 minute wait I was seated. This salon is definitely busy and they do prefer appointments, so call ahead! I went on a Thursday afternoon when it was relatively slower, so be careful if you go during a popular day or time. The only weird thing I didn't see mentioned here is that they require that you purchase a pedicure kit (which includes a nail file, buffing block, callus remover, and toe separators) for $2 that you can always bring back on subsequent purchases. I have never heard of a salon doing this before and found it really unusual. Although I was thankful that this would mean more hygienic tools, it was a very odd additional charge. I didn't mind purchasing it though because they allow you to re-use them on subsequent visits! I also overheard other visitors just sharing one set of tools between friends so they can split the charge. I only ordered a basic manicure with simple polish since I like to change my nail colour very frequently and was really pleased they didn't have me get up and waddle over to a manicure table with wet toenails. I got to enjoy the massage chair for longer and Tony gives AMAZING hand/arm massages. So for a breakdown: PROS: -Extensive callus removal -Great nail colour selection -Incredible hand massage -Free drinks (the black mango tea is delicious) -Price is right! I usually do a shellac french manicure and a regular french pedicure and it typically takes a couple of hours. I find their shellac manicures last longer than other salons I've been to, perhaps it is the technique or the actual polish. The prices are very reasonable as well. Their baseline pedicure is $17. Everything before tip for me is usually a little over $50, what a deal! Don't expect relaxing service as you'd get at a higher end nail spa though as the women here tend to gossip a bit. read more

This place is busy so I would recommend calling a head and making sure they have room or making a appointment. We came in for pedicures everything was amazing. We had hot tea while we relaxed. They did everything we wanted/ needed in a timely manner. They did get busy in the end and instead of drying in the spa chair we had to go to the front to dry but oh well. Just ok service both times I have come. they say walk-in's welcome however never have the staff for it. Today was the last time...I called yesterday and made an appointment for today. When we arrived I was told we were down for tomorrow not today. I have a conflict tomorrow so there is no way I would have made an appointment at that time. I also wrote it down when I made the appointment in my on my desk calendar as I was on the phone. No we're sorry, nothing. Went in, asked for a full set. They had me wait 30 minutes for my nail tech to show up as she was running late. Not the best experience, but things happen. Once she got there (clearly flustered) she sat down and asked what I wanted. I said I would like to remove me current nails that were barely hanging on (I had 6 lifting due to my job being hard on them) and said I'd like some stilettos with nail art. She told me my nails were not long enough for stilettos, and it being my first time asking for stilettos I decided to just take her word for it and assumed they must need more support or something. She went to file down my nails and I assumed this was to remove them, as again I was clearly there for a full new set. She ended up pulling out acrylic to do a backfill and when I commented that I had nails lifting and needed a new set, she aggressively told me I didn't need new ones and that I needed to keep my tips on for 4 more weeks at least. She rushed through the backfill and went to add art (I declined) and she got upset about that. She said I was done and I commented that no repairs had been done on the 6 lifted nails. She asked which ones were bad. She then proceeded to just file the length of my nail out from underneath the acrylic. I left upset, and paying more for a fill and many repairs than I would've paid for a new set. But the worst is what happened the next day. While walking my dog my nails were pushed against the leashed and when my dog lightly pulled away I had multiple nails severely lift and pull off to the point where my hands heavily dripped blood. This all could have been avoided with a new set. I removed them at home and am never going back. read more

I'm so disappointed by my recent experience at this nail salon. I was a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding. We scheduled an appointment for 6 adults and 2 children weeks in advance. The experience while we were in the salon was okay, but they seemed understaffed. I think it took longer than we would have preferred. Many of us had to wait around for our turn. They don't have much of a set-up for children, despite telling my friend they could give them a pedicure. I'm most upset about my shellac nails chipping less than one week later! When I asked the other girls in our group if the same had happened to them, it had! I went back to get them fixed and the women in the salon were quite rude to me. I got them fixed on Monday, they only fixed the 2 chipped nails, and now another nail is chipping, less that 2 weeks later. I've gone to other salons and shellac nails have lasted 1+ months. I'm disappointed and don't plan to return to this salon ever again. read more
