She did a nice job, but not thorough. I just got a plain manicure. My nails looked better, but I had to clean a bit more of the dead cutical off after leaving the shop and getting in sunlight. When she was trimming my nails she slightly cut into skin on one finger. No blood though. I have 3 fingers that get a lot of use so sides of those get a lot of buildup of dead dry skin. Even if you're getting artificial nails I feel you should have a really good manicure in beginning of appointment as part of the process. Decent prices, but the whole pedicure felt very rushed. Like we were in and out within 10 minutes. The massage was 10 seconds tops.. And to compensate for time he really massaged too hard. Sharp and painful! Anyway the pedicure turned out nice. For my sister, her tech was another man who rushed at the same pace. He used some sort of electric drill to take her cuticles off instead of the usual oil and clippers. That seemed a bit overkill. Anyway, the entire thing felt like all they cared about was going as quick as possible. No frills. I guess we couldve just painted our own nails and saved the $50. read more

Sometimes it's unfortunate that two people have much different experiences at a place. Today is my girlfriends birthday. We decided to try this place for a pedicure. The place was your standard nail salon. Massage chairs and manicure tables set up. Good atmosphere. Very welcoming and friendly staff. I ended up with Linda and Debby had Tom. My experience with Linda was excellent. I would personally give her 4-4.5 stars. She was friendly, attentive and very detailed with her service. It was very relaxing. However, Debby's experience was not so good. He was rough, made her toe bleed unfortunately. He was obviously upset about something, as he shouted through the salon at another employee while he was on the phone. As someone that does not frequent nail salons, I could say obviously, that he did a very bad job on her toes. The paint job was not good and her toe. Sis are actually rough. If we were to go again, we would ask for Linda and highly recommend her. read more

I went in yesterday for a gel manicure. Tom worked on my nails. While removing the old polish, he used an electric file and went too far into my natural nail beds. My nails are extremely thin now. During my manicure, a lady came in to complain about one of her acrylics and this annoyed Tom apparently. He became more rough and kept looking over at the lady. My nails look really bad. They are so thin and have dents in them. I'm so disappointed. I'd been there only once before, and that wasn't very good either. I won't return. $30 for a gel manicure btw. read more

This is the only nail place I went to for nearly a year and a few months ago I got nail fungus from there. I've never had it before and thought my nails were just getting weird white lines. Every time after it started I went there more to get a pedi to hide the way my toes were looking. They would always smile when they see it and said "don't worry about it" and did my nails. Once I figured out what was going on and that it was a fungus I can see how nail fungus spreads there. Great business strategy though. I got so many pedis to cover it. read more

I have been a customer with Lynn for at least 6 years and I have never had a bad experience with her until today! I went in to get my nails done today for my wedding (which she knew) and she rushed through my nails not doing what I wanted but doing what she wanted to do. I have rhinestones on my ring finger and there is a gap which she refuse to fix, which pissed me off, but to top it all off her husband came into the conversation which escalated everything. After going to Lynn every two weeks for 6+ years I cannot believe I was treated this way and then to be charged $90 for something that I didn't want! I know my $65 every two weeks probably won't hurt her pocket, but I will never go back to G-nails again! read more

I have been going here for years and usually the experience is very enjoyable but last week I went and brought a friend with. We walked inside and there was one women getting a pedicure and about 4 people who work there just sitting around talking and one of the guys turned us away saying they were "busy" with only one customer. I called about 5 minutes later and he said they weren't busy at all. Overall this experience was very odd compared to all the other times I've been there but the staff was rude and I will not be going back. Another reason I won't be going back is a dipping manicure I had gotten about 2 weeks before this incident was falling apart, the edges were chipping off. A dipping manicure is meant to last up to a month. After the incident my friend and I went to a different nail salon, One Day Nails and Spa. This salon is only about 10 minutes away I suggest going here instead. They were very welcoming, the quality of my manicure is much better and they're prices are better. read more

Got a gel mani pedi. Was pretty expensive. The gel pedi turned out really well. The mani was not well done and lasted about a week before the polish started chipping and peeling up all around the edges. The cuticles lasted about a day before they started flaking. read more

I am so happy that my tech at my regular shop was on vacation--otherwise I never would have checked my yelp reviews and found GNails! I have 'challenging' toe nails with ingrown nails, so I asked the gentleman answering the phone for an appointment with an experienced tech who would be able to work with them. My pedicure appointment with Linda was wonderful!! She worked quickly and comprehensively on my problem spots, alleviating much discomfort. Their deluxe pedicure included a choice of an extra 10 min massage or a paraffin wax treatment, also a hot stone massage treatment on the feet. I had the paraffin and was very happy with it (each foot in a bag. Who knew?!) I also opted for a quick manicure (Lynn was great) on the spot-- no pestering for add on services. The ladies who worked on our feet did great jobs! Never had a pedicure so detailed. They did the sugar scrub, thorough massages and took their time while doing everything. They offered masks right away and had us wash our hands. They also were wearing masks the entire time and had someone wiping some surfaces and chairs to disinfect the areas. I was very satisfied and they charged the basic $27 for the pedicure. I was honestly thinking they were gonna overcharge due to all the work they put in. Definitely coming back! read more

It's adequate, seems clean with comfy chairs. But in my book, three strikes and you're out. The first pedicure left my nails misshapen, the second was too sharp at the corners after numerous requests, and this final one by Linda didn't last. After 10 days, my big toe polish has already started to chip on the corner and the cuticle on the other one looks like a four week pedicure. A decent quality pedicure should last from 3-4 weeks, not 2 weeks. Lastly, they're not the cheapest in town: sure $35 gets you a sugar scrub and a hot stone massage but again, durability and beauty are essential. I went for a gel manicure, made an appointment, and when I arrived they told me I made an appointment for the wrong time. They painted my nails white and added the gold stars I asked for. They did not stick the stars down all the way and when I was finished they were sticking out still. The gel instantly peeled off. I would not recommend and I will not be going back.
