Nice place to stop at for Asian-fusion snacks and tea. The customer service has always been great here. Fusion Tea Lounge is located in an old strip mall in Tempe that I used to hang out at during my college days. I have tried a variety of items here and found the food quality to be great. You can't go wrong with any of the noodle dishes or the sushi. I like personally like the Spring Rolls and the Fried Chicken. The menu has a little bit of everything for everyone. The music can be a little loud for my taste. But other than that, this is a solid place to grab a bite at.
We have been to fusion tea lounge many times and continue to come back for their solid items and great customer service. Their DQ honey wings are our favorite, they have the perfect crunch and tossed in their delicious spicy honey sauce. Their crab flatbread is also our go to. It's a California roll on a scallion pancake, it's amazing and I love the crunch from the pancake underneath. We have had some other items like sushi rolls, Dan xiao mien, and some boba teas. The only lack luster item I have had are their teas, they often use powder and were underwhelming. Definitely a solid 4 for the items we do enjoy and the owner is always super nice when we come in. It will continue to be a staple in our house.
AMAZING! It was exactly what I wanted and more! I don't make it to Tempe very often these days, so when I have an excuse to grab dinner over here I'm always excited to try something new! But there are A LOT of options to choose from and always new places popping up! So after spending a ton of time looking, I picked this place because of the crab. I saw some of their pictures of crab fries and crab nachos, crab on other things...it really didn't matter at that point. Pretty much anything with crab on it is an instant yes for me! The restaurant is simple on the inside with some cool chalk walls. They have so many dishes and drinks to choose from, and their prices are really good! My friend and I both got taro milk teas with boba, you can choose your milk and sweetness level. For food we shared Nacho Crab, Scallion Pancake, Rolling Avocado, and Crunchy Spicy Tuna Roll. It was ALL DELICIOUS! I would order it all again but double the Rolling Avocado! I haven't had anything like this before and it was heaven! I want to go back just for it...and to try so many other things! I'm not sure how popular Fusion Tea Lounge is but it deserves to be famous! In my world it is! I'll be back as soon as I can!
Amazing food and fantastic prices. We must continue to frequent this place. The owner came around and chatted with me. So sweet and relatable. I'm from out of town where fish is just as fresh but prices almost twice the price. I will be back when I am in town next time.
Saw some good reviews from fellow Yelper's who I trust their judgement and gave this spot a try. Overall it's great. They have large menu so it can be helpful to look at it before going. The people working there are friendly and everything came out freshly prepared as each dish was ready. The price points are awesome. I'd come back just for that alone. The only reason I give 4 stars vs my standard 5 for places that meet or exceed my criteria (meaning everything was just right), is that the music was blasting pretty loud and there was this dude in there talking SO LOUD! It was like he was yelling the entire time. I didn't enjoy that ambiance lol. Also, and this might be on us, I have to stop ordering things with "traditional Sichuan flavors". I would have loved the Dan Xiao Mien if it had a different flavor profile. I thought I liked sichuan spiced items but twice now at 2 different places I hated it. Could be difference in preparations from place to place but it's better if I just avoid it since it's happened twice now. Otherwise food was tasty and price for 2 ppl with 1 cold foam tea & 3 entrees was like $40. That's awesome. I look forward to trying some other items on the menu. See photos for what we ordered.
There are very few places that can get both good food and good bubble tea right and this is one of your best options in the area for a tasty meal and a delicious drink all in one shop. You can order both at the cashier register or on a large screen off to the side, and I love that they have the option to sub monkfruit in any boba drink for those looking to reduce their sugar intake. The meals I've gotten here have been really good and there's a good mix of different dishes for any appetite. On our latest outing we got a few sides, meals, sushi rolls and bubble tea of course. Everything tasted excellent and the gentleman here who is the chef was really nice and made sure we were all enjoying our food. I've enjoyed the bubble tea as well and I got a winter wonderland at the last visit at 30% sweetness. It's basically a creamy wintermelon tea and was delicious and just the right amount of sweetness at 30%. I'd get it again for sure if I need a non-caffeinated drink. There are plenty of tables for dine in and we had no problem as a larger group getting enough table space for everyone to sit and eat on our last dining adventure.
Love this place!!! One of my go to spots for boba and snacks. The owner is always so gracious and generous as well with the food. I definitely would need to try the other rolls next time
I have been seeing this place pop up on Instagram, so I had to put it on my list to eat. So for my birthday lunch, I told my brother this place is where I want to go. We got the the fries and poutine with gravy, chicken fried rice, and pork stir fried udon. Everything was delicious. Their customer service was great. You can order at the front or use the kiosk. We used the kiosk because I wanted to see everything and you can specialize your team. Their green latte and passion fruit tea was amazing !
This is my favorite Happy place!!! The owner Yao is one of the best human beings I've ever met!! He and his father are true magicians of their craft! Don't let their restaurant name fool u! No doubt these guys make the best milk teas in town, and they're the ONLY place in town that I know of that has ALMOND milk tea, but their FOOD is equally yabba dabba doo delicious!!! Their sushi rolls are made fresh to order, and they cater to gluten free restrictive diets! They've made some amazing gluten free rolls for my husband and me! Their Sailor rolls are spectacular!! Although the Dragon fire roll is not gluten free, if u need it to be gluten free, just ask Yao, and he will make ur wish come true!! They have an easy convenient-kiosk ordering system, and pure good restaurant vibes!! Come in for a taste and u'll be hooked!!

I was in the neighborhood and suddenly hit with a serious craving for boba tea. This place had good reviews, so I thought--why not check it out? It's a mid-sized tea shop with an open kitchen, and it gave off major family-owned vibes--like a solid 2-3 generation operation. Everyone was super friendly, which made the visit even better. The menu? Massive! I was honestly surprised they could fit that many food and drink options into a place this size. From rolls and tapas to desserts, teas, and milk teas--they've got it all. Props to them for pulling it off without turning it into chaos. I went with the strawberry banana milk tea with boba, and they asked about sweetness level--25%, 50%, or 75%. I picked 50%, and let me tell you... it was chef's kiss perfect. I didn't ask for light ice, but the guy made it that way anyway (bless him), and later I was super grateful for it. Who knows, maybe I'll find myself in that neighborhood again. And if I do, I'm definitely stopping by for round two!
To know me is to know I absolutely adore Asian cuisine and this place hit the spot! I found this gem while on a layover and chose to bypass the hotel lobby restaurant and take a Lyft to try Fusion instead. Zero regrets! I was pretty hungry when I got here so I immediately ordered based off of some Yelp reviews. I had the scallion pancakes, shrimp tempura roll, and a coconut milk boba tea. Literally everything was fresh and tasted absolutely amazing. The scallion pancakes are 100% worth the hype. The sushi roll was fresh and the shrimp was warm, indicating they make everything to order. Huge plus to me. The service was quick and efficient. My food was hot and fresh. This is a no frills kind of restaurant. Good and quality food without all the extra. It's simply decorated inside (holiday decor on my visit today--so can't speak to its usual state). But I'll definitely be back next time I'm in AZ! I also ordered lo mein to go. Will update once h try it!
This is a hidden gem. Delicious sushi and Asian food. Service is fast. I am surprised the restaurant is not packed at all time. Restaurant decoration and seating are set up to be more like grab and go kind of vibe. Not really like sit down and eat vibe. I think if the restaurant has a better atmosphere with more comfy seats, this will be a big hit.
New favorite spot in Tempe. I've been here a handful of times now, the service and food are consistently good. The people behind the counters are accommodating and courteous. I'm not a big sweets person when it comes to my drink so I was glad they could be flexible with the sugar level. I keep wanting to try new menu items but I keep ordering the same thing!! I get the OG Sweet and the Crabbie Fries. OG Sweet is interesting in the fact that the flavor changes if you take your time drinking it. It's got limes so that the more it soaks up the more tart it gets. I like the refreshing taste(s) of it. I haven't given their boba a chance yet because I'm too stuck on getting the same thing which isn't like me. Their crabbie fries are pretty good too. My boyfriend and I decided to try this place out after I read my friend Joyce's review and I was excited when I saw the picture of the Sesame Balls because it's my childhood snack that my mom used to buy for me back home when I was little. The place is clean and spacious but you have to order the food at the counter, not on the table. The employees are so friendly and nice! We ordered Finger Lickers, Rolling Avo, DC Ramlet Battered Wings, Sesame Balls, Mango boba tea and my bf did ask if they could mix the flavor, and he asked for Mango&Peach boba tea. - Finger Lickers, this is so good! They gave us sweet & sour sauce and I enjoyed every bite of this popcorn chicken, so delicious! - Rolling Avo, they also gave a special sauce for this. I don't know how to feel about this one, I don't hate it but I don't like it lol, it's basically what it says, avocados in tortilla and they fried it. But my bf enjoyed it though. - DC Ramlet Battered Wings, the batter is absolutely delicious but when I went in to the meat part, it was bland. They have to find a way to marinate/seasoned the wings and it'd be a perfect menu! I keep saying this, everyone has different taste buds, and to me, I love it when the chicken has some flavor to it as well, not just the outside part, I hope it makes sense! But we ate this with ranch so it was still good! - Sesame Balls. Oh hello, childhood. The only difference is, back home we use Mung Bean filling instead of black sesame filling. I still love it regardless! - Mango boba tea. Say no more, LOVE IT!!! - Mango & Peach boba tea. My bf tried it and he said it's weird that it tasted more like Coconut instead of mango or peach. He didn't want to bother them so he didn't say a thing. And before we left, the guy asked us how was everything? Did you guys enjoy it? We finally told him about this drink, my bf didn't lie because I tried it as well and I could also taste coconut and he made another one for us! And the new one, it tasted definitely a combination of mango & peach, thank you so much! We really appreciate it! Are you wondering if you should try this place? The answer is a definite YES!! It's refreshing, delicious and addicting, I've tried a lot of the items from the menu and so far I have not been disappointed. So, a while back my friends recommended Fusion Tea when they first opened, it was only when I saw they kept coming back that I decided to finally try it. Yes I'm a fool for not coming sooner lol, they have great drinks and yummy food to pair them with. From the L.I.T. I've tried the OG Sweet E, Honey Lemon and The Fuzz. The Fuzz is my favorite from these, it's very refreshing and I like how the key lime foam compliments the tea, it's a must try! From the C.R.E.A.M. teas I've tried Taipei Oolong, Matcha Milk tea, Quick kick, Iced Coffee and Cream Coffee. My favorite is the Quick kick, if you like coffee as much as I do you will get addicted to this one. It's topped with cream foam, then another layer of chocolate cream foam and golden flakes, I think 30-50% sweet will do, another must try! Oh and I had the KéKé Black tea as well, minty, light and good, but I prefer the cream and lit ones. Now the eats: I've had the Spicy BTS, Shao Kao fries, Crabbie fries, Poutine fries, Rolling Avo, Fish tacos, Fiery cold noodles, Spicy honey DQ wings, D.C. Ramlet Battered Wings and Cauliflower Fried Rice. I enjoyed them all but I highly recommend the Ramlet wings, these ramen crusted wings are so delicious! The fish tacos were very good and they come with mango salsa (personal taste I wish that salsa was spicy, maybe some serrano and it would've been perfect!). The rolling Avo had a sweet cilantro sauce that I really enjoyed! I can keep going on but honestly I would just try whatever you are craving at the moment, everything is yummy believe me. Staff is very nice and friendly, the place is very clean and there's plenty of parking. So stop reading and head out to Fusion Tea Lounge now! Tea for two and two for tea! Pfft, more like two teas for me! Came here with my fine ass girlfriend and the crew and it was a non-stop parade of food and tea! I had the Matcha Milk Tea which even my matcha-hating girlfriend liked. The cheese topping was foamy and I loved it. The girlfriend got a gold flake speckled coffee called, "Quick Kick." Very fitting for my ass-kicking golden crown-wearing queen! Her name is Priscila A. here n the Yelp-verse if you wanna marvel at her beauty. Also to be stolen was my BFF Joyce W.'s favorite drink, The Fuzz. We all shared a buttload of food from the Spicy BTS, Cauliflower Rice, Fish Tacos (please add some serranos to the mango salsa), the D.C. Ramlet Battered Wings, and some scallion pancakes. Everything was super good. It was so good that we even ordered some drinks for the road! So come here and get your grub on! I like this place so far...I think I need to try them a little more to give a really good review but they are not the best location to me so it will be occasional visits. I loved the fuzz! So unique with the lime cream on top! I also got the ooolong tea with salted cream on top, I'm not really sure what to think of that drink! I had thought ooolong was a lighter colored tea but this was dark and honestly it tasted like coffee. I honestly am unsure if I got the right drink...but I'm for sure no tea expert and do not know for sure what ooolong is supposed to taste like. Lol at first I didn't care for it but then I decided I did. The decor in this place is barren. You know how some places have too much and it feels cluttered? Well this is the opposite, it almost feels like they're half ready to move out, they definitely need to add a little something! Maybe an exotic Asian flare. Some bamboo plants and wall graffiti with fortune cookie sayings...something to go with the cool flair on the writing of their Fusion Tea lounge sign. The customer service was great, they were very nice and friendly and super helpful with my orders. They gave great advice on what went well together and how sweet to get a drink. Tried this place out for the first time and loved it. Recommending to everyone I know. We tried the fish tacos, dumplings, croquettes, honey hot wings, finger lickers, and some noodles. I took my mom and she's the pickiest eater and I was happily shocked when she agreed with me that everything was delicious. It was fresh and perfectly hot. Checked out this new spot after seeing so many people post about it on Yelp and I wasn't disappointed. We came after dinner nearby, but still grabbed a couple of snacks as we wanted to try some of the popular items. We ended up ordering most of what was recommended to us by the cashier (I believe he was the owner) and enjoyed it all. The standout for me was the finger lickers, which were Asian-style popcorn chicken bites. They came with a spicy mayo sauce and a chili sauce, and the chicken itself was super juicy inside and crispy and flavorful outside - reminiscent of a nugget from Chick-fil-A, but with a crispier and more flavorful batter. Because of the open kitchen area, we were able to see that everything was cooked up fresh and came out quickly and piping hot. We also had an array of drinks and everybody agreed that they were refreshing and unique. I had The Fuzz, which is topped with a key lime foam that was pretty good, but I'll definitely be back for some other lemon infused teas that have the lime slice crown. I didn't try them this time, but friends that did get them said they were a good choice. The inside decor is a little plain, but I doubt you're really going for that. It was a bit echo-y inside, which made it somewhat difficult to sit and chat even with just our table inside - I'm not sure how this is affected when it's busier. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the food, and I can see myself meeting up with friends here fairly often. Service was also great, as we got all of our questions answered and given recommendations on what to order in a very friendly environment. read more
Dropped by to try Fusion Tea. Ordered LIT Honey Green Tea & Oolong Tea, both were delicious. Customer service was outstanding, friendly & helpful with my questions. Also got a few plates - pork BTS dumpling, cauliflower fried rice & fiery cold noodles. Enjoyed the food, with the exception of the cauliflower rice. I did not like the taste and texture of the cauliflower rice...it may just be my personal preference as I don't eat it often. If not for the cauliflower rice I'd have given them 5 stars. read more

A boba spot from the east coast has joined the AZ list. It's a spacious cafe with a large menu of drinks and snacks. The popcorn chicken is seasoned with "ramen" - not sure what that meant but that's what I was told lol. They serve a signature honey drink that can be found only at Fusion and I tried it, it wasn't too bad. Definitely something I don't order often when I do get drinks though. I'll probably be back to try their food again. read more

Fusion Tea Lounge will be added to my favorites list. The cauliflower rice was perfect and I added the popcorn chicken on top with the sweet chili sauce...perfecto. Also the quantity is enough for two at a really great price. If you want casual dining without all the crap, this is your place. read more

We stopped in for a bite and drink. We got black lemon tea, but with lime and Spicy BTS. Both excellent! The restaurant was clean, quick and great service as well! Henry was very helpful explaining all their dishes and giving help with our choice. We needed the help as this was a new place for us. We will definitely be back! read more

Came in for takeout after trying their boba last night. First off, the mocha milk tea with boba will keep you up all night, haha. We wanted to try this place for lunch as their tapas looked really yummy. We came in for takeout and ordered just a couple of things that seemed to be taking a while. Not to worry, we weren't in a super rush or anything, but they were kind enough to acknowledge that we had been waiting quite a while and made us an extra tapa to take home with us. 10/10 on customer service even with doing takeout! read more

Our first time here and YES, our experience is consistent with the other reviews. Everything we ordered was delicious! Yao took his time explaining and describing the menu. Well, once we ate what we ordered, we tasted the love and care behind it. I can't wait to come back to try more!! read more

words can do no justice in trying to explain just how good Fusion Tea Lounge really is. This place has it all! The breakdown: Menu: -loads of entrees and sides to choose from, in which all are cooked in front of you fresh -boba menu is just as incredible, they've got really any traditional boba+their own flavors -it's affordable!! For the quality of the food, I'm surprised they don't charge more. Food: -the food is definitely fresh and yummy, some of the best chicken I've eaten has originated from here -I recommend the General entree -boba is just as good, and you have a lot of options so you can find really anything that sounds good to you Location: -has a nice cozy lounge you can eat your food in -plays relatively good music on the speakers -very clean and looks nice Service: -absolutely outstanding. The guy running the kitchen/register (he's usually a 1 man band) is friendly and can answer any questions regarding the menu -pretty fast for a small business, typically no longer than 7-8 minute wait for your food -with the recent COVID-19 outbreak many businesses are closing, yet they're still open for takeout orders -they threw in this complimentary roll of toilet paper because my order was over $10 (turned out to be a life saver cause I was on my last roll) All in all, it's safe to say I'll be coming here a lot, and you should too. They are a smaller business (maybe family owned?) but boy do they pack a punch to your tastebuds. I strongly recommend you take a trip to Fusion Tea, you won't regret it! read more
Alert-The hours of operation and dine-in option have been modified due to the current "Stay At Home" State mandate. Today they were open until 6:00 PM. If you are looking for good food, I have to continue to praise this place. I wanted to try some new dishes and a classic go to. I tried the Fish Tacos and Crab Nachos. The fish was lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. The breading even held up when I got home and was still crispy. The tacos came with avocado, lettuce with a pick de gallo and spicy mayo sauce. The crab nachos base are fried wonton triangles. The crab topping is diced with a light cream/mayo sauce with a little kick (not over powering). The wontons remained crispy as well. Again, i had to have my chicken wings made with a ramen/panko breading which comes with 2 sauces. They have expanded their menu, so i will continue to check out new items. If you want, you may call your order in and just pick up and ask about their current payment options. There was a sign up that says they were moving towards cashless payments due to the current climate to safeguard their guests and employees. But definitely support this local small business. The owner is very friendly, professional and creative with his dishes. read more

If you love trying new drinks and finding a new fun place to buy teas or boba teas of all varieties, look no further. I am sick of the cookie cutter every corner places, and while this was a drive for us it is so worth it that my best friend and I try to come back at least once a week. I even bring any friends or family that visit from out of town to this place as a fun place to go. I was tired of the same ol same ol, so when I come here I can say I really feel like a drink with almond flavoring, and they make suggestions. Thomas is the best at it but they are all very helpful. 12/10 recommend giving them a try. Oh and the food i haven't tried many dishes but it was good the chicken and rice ones i tried. And yes the wait can be a bit but it's because it is ALL made from scratch and worth the wait! Patience is rewarded!! read more

Ever since Fusion opened up I was definitely excited to try it. I've been here about five times now and have never been disappointed. This is definitely one of my boyfriends favorite places to go. Their drinks are super yummy and very refreshing, I would suggest 70% sweetness but that's just cause I like sweet dirnks. The owner is so nice, makes good recommendations, and will always bring your drinks and food to you. I really love their c.r.e.a.m. teas and their honey green tea. My boyfriend is obsessed with their almond milk tea. We tried their food for the first time, although it did take a while to wait it was worth it. The spicy bts and rolling avocado were delicious, the popcorn chicken was also great. read more
