This was a cute spot, and I recommend it if you need to do work or study. Their options are vast as I was stuck between getting gelato or boba. Nice boba spot! I came on a Sunday night and it was very quiet. The owner was very friendly and told me about their offerings and they were out of some boba due to a supply issue. They also serve gelato here. I stuck with my usual boba order and got a taro milk tea with brown sugar boba at 50% sweetness. 0 stars if I could. Went here after going to Bobazona in Goodyear a couple months ago and having a wonderful experience out there. The staff member alerted us that they were going through some changes and that their menu was reduced. Seeing it on the board, it was only maybe 10 items. I asked further clarification and the staff member was incredibly rude and became extremely defensive after I stated that I was going to pass since I didn't like anything. I was simply stating I was going to pass and he took it personally, then sarcastically shouting after me as I was leaving "thanks for the business advice though, I'm not going to cater my business to the likes of one person!". I happened to spot this boba joint as I made my way to the nearby Trader Joe's. Of course I HAD TO stop in because a.) I'm overdue, and b.) who am I to refuse a boba spot?! No one was in there when I walked in. There was a young man working behind the counter and he greeted me as I walked in. As I browsed their lengthy menu of sweet delights, he let me know I could choose one of their standard menu drinks or create my own. He then pointed to the menu that gives you options to make your own drink. I opted for their Mango Prickly Pear with Lychee popping boba. The drink was right on the money! Delicious and refreshing, it hit the spot for me. It was reasonably priced, too. They do have the Dubai Chocolate Strawberry cup, which I wanted so badly, but I didn't have anyone to share it with and it looked huge, so I passed on it this time. My friend from Cali is in town and she was craving this strawberry dessert last night so I picked her up and we tried this place out! She saw that they had Dubai chocolate. I've been seeing the craze about it but have not tried it yet. We both ordered the Dubai Chocolate Strawberry cups ($20 each). I felt that was super pricey but I guess Dubai chocolate is pricey normally. The cups were really good though but wish it had more of the green crunchy stuff. The cups were filled with strawberries, then topped with the green crunchy stuff and chocolate syrup. It would be good if they did it in layers. I got mine topped with a light whip and my friend did no whip. I ate the whole cup! Staff here were really friendly and even checked back in on us to see if we liked it. I found Bobazona through a video on TikTok and I AM BEYOND SATISFIED. Their Dubai chocolate strawberries were extremely tasty. I was worried that the strawberries wouldn't be sweet but they were ripe and delicious. The Dubai cream paired with strawberries were so good. I highly recommend. For those who may say that it is overpriced for a cup of strawberries with chocolate and pistachio cream (Dubai) probably do not understand or know that Dubai chocolate is already expensive on its own. My first visit to Bobazona was a hit! My jasmine tea Hawaiian Pog was pog-lish! So refreshing and a needed rescue from the heat! I've been to many boba shops, and Bobazona is the only shop that allows me to get my POG on! So glad I found you, Bobazona! Our server was super knowledgeable and sweet. Hard no. Don't be deceived by the clean sitting area. I was craving gelato and wanted to check out this place. I usually go to Zoyo across the street but I wanted to try something new. The gelato looked like it had been seating out for DAYS and there was a film on the top layer. So I skipped the gelato and went for a boba tea, it was pure sugar. We did dinner at Il Bosco pizza which was great, and as we walked up we saw the Gelato case which immediately became the dessert plan. Friendly staff encouraged sampling that brought me to the perfect strawberry cheesecake option. But they also had a variety of baked goods that were exciting as well. Arrived late and was surprised the shop close until 10PM! Got a refresher for the summer heat-I for the lemon kumquat refresher with 75% sugar adjustment which was actually just right! My mom got the the cantaloupe refresher with cantaloupe boba-which was also a delicious drink! I'll have to come back next time to try their milk teas. 5/12/24: stopped in this particular Saturday, on the way home from dinner. We both had a craving and we love trying new boba places. It's in the strip mall with Trader Joe's so the parking is plentiful. As some other reviewers have mentioned, it can be more pricey but that's because they have 32 oz drinks -- which I have never seen at any other boba location (and I have been to many!). They had a pretty good crowd when we walked in, and I only saw two workers behind the counter. The young man who took our order was very nice, as was the gal when she gave us our drinks. They had a couple cookies for sale at the counter so yeah, we had to buy them (choc chip and a raspberry sugar cookie). The guy asked us how the cookie was, and I was shoving the last crumb into my mouth, I said "it's horrible". He laughed, so the workers def have a sense of humor. :-) The store was very clean, and they had some interesting pictures on the walls. My fav is the one of Mona Lisa holding a bubble cup. Love it! Their boba was nice and chewy. We have a Bobazona opening up soon in our area so hopefully its staff is just as pleasant as this location. I saw a post about a 12 ounce chocolate strawberry cup with pistachios, along with two other variations. It's only available in one size and costs $20 plus tax, which seems pretty steep for a cup of strawberries and chocolate--especially when you could just melt chocolate at home and drizzle it over strawberries yourself. After taking in the menu, I had made up my mind - I wanted a Vanilla Passionfruit Black Tea (my own creation) with a sweet cream topper. I ordered it with l25% ice and 25% sweetness. It was amazing! The cashier was super friendly and informative, but I don't think she thought my creation was going to be very good. She initially hinted that "no one had ever ordered that drink before" and then offered to make me something else if I didn't like my drink.... and then she made a small sample of it for me to try before she actually made my drink. I love the consideration and compassion that she exhibited.. and I truly loved that drink! I have returned and ordered it again... and it's still awesome! Alas a place that has plump, chewy boba! So many combinations and flavors to choose from! I had been craving boba tea for sometime and had hard time choosing flavor as they were all unique. Customer service was awesome - friendly and helpful. I had an opportunity to meet the owner; after I chose my refreshing drink, he had me try one of his favorites...honeydew milk tea which was sublime! I actually enjoyed it more than the mango prickly pear drink. Both drinks were refreshing and not overly sweet. I love the fact they can customize your drink - not too sweet, no dairy, less ice, more boba and different flavors of jelly & boba. I had the Gelato the first time which was the maple syrup and brown sugar pecan. It was actually quite good, but the price was a bit much for what you pay for. Today I had a medium Thai Tea and it wasn't good. Very watered down, and the boba had most of the flavor besides the odd after taste at the end. The prices for the tea are quite expensive as well it could be the location but for 8 dollars w/Tip it's a bit too much since the tea was meh.
