What a big mistake coming here! Now I'm hooked I loved this place! Lunch was $21.99 Buffett. The food was like eating a more expensive meal at any other restaurant for a great price. They had plenty of seafood to eat, salmon scallop crawfish, shrimp bass, chicken. So much to choose from! Even a variety of sushi! Great service fr the cashier to the lady cleaning our plates from the table. Bathrooms were very clean too!

I went in with pretty low expectations since it's a buffet and I heard it can get crowded, but this place completely surprised me. It turned out to be one of the best buffet experiences I have had. My family and I visited on a weekday around 12:30 PM. While it wasn't packed, most of the tables were already occupied. Just a heads-up: kids are charged based on height. You pay upfront, and the staff helps you find a table, which keeps things organized. The food selection is impressive, and they are quick to refill dishes, so everything stays fresh and hot--almost like ordering à la carte. There's a great variety, but my personal favorites were the crab in shell, all the chicken dishes, sesame balls, and the desserts. Drinks and ice cream are included, which is a nice bonus. Overall, it's a great spot to try a wide range of dishes and discover new favorites. Definitely worth a visit.

I got my crew all together now, on our way to SF, but I wanted to wait awhile and let this stupid traffic die down some, so we decided to have dinner here or I decided. I know what keep everyone on the crew happy and a Chinese buffet lets everyone have what they want. This Fusion Buffet is located at the Sun Valley Mall. I think this location used to be a BBQ joint or something, it's right near the BJ;s Brewhouse. I like that place too! Lots of parking and easy to find. The buffet is pretty standard I think. We get seated and rink orders taken. Service is the usual Asian buffet, just get the drinks out and clear the plates, no reason to be friends. There's a big selection of food including all the normal American Chinese stuff, like orange chicken and egg rolls. There did seem to be a few more authentic Chinese dishes I didn't recognize, but no chicken feet! There's also a sushi selection. The buffet did it's job and got everyone fed. The quality I'd say was decent, cause the trays got refilled quickly. There were a lot of customers in here. Decent buffet I'd say.

I had the pleasure of eating at Fusion Buffet for the first time. I love the variety of foods. Everything from a sushi station, seafood area, meats of all kinds, a Mongolian bbq stir fry section, soups, desserts and much more. The nice thing is that drinks are also included in the $29.99 price. My favorite items were definitely the Mongolian station and the pork and beef ribs. The staff were all very friendly. The dining area is very large. They can accommodate large groups and the huge crowds of people that come to enjoy the food here. I highly recommend for those wanting to try a seafood Asian buffet.

The place feels modern and there is a good amount of seating available. The chairs are super comfortable. Please note you will have to pay in advance. They do offer a free birthday meal with 6 paying adults. The food selection is quite extensive and everything was quite good for a buffet. They even have a Mongolian bbq station as well. The drinks are included. The $21.99 for lunch is an amazing deal. The servers stopped by the tables often to clear the used dishes and were very pleasant. I would highly recommend this place.

Another place we have been meaning to try for a while and glad we did. You pay at the front before you are seated. Servers regularly cleared plates off the table. Ambiance is modern and fun.We came for late lunch Saturday afternoon. It was busy but not overwhelming. We were seated within 5 minutes of checking in. The food was great. A good variety of Asian selections including seafood with variety of shrimp and crab options. There was a limited selection of dessert but we didn't mind considering tge variety of other food. The quality of everything from the sushi, dim sum, to the oysters were all amazing. The beef ribs fell off the bones. Even the fries were crispy and well seasoned. We are giving it the 5 stars for quality compared to other buffets. Even had real ice cream. Drinks were also included in buffet price. There was the 3 of us and was weekend price so a little over $100 for all of us with tip and tax. Definitely will be back.

On a cold, rainy NYE night I made it my mission to try Fusion Buffett. i read a suggestion on Yelp and then read several reviews. I was all in. I asked my buddy if he was down with some Asian buffet and he was all in. We arrived and let the hostesses know we were there to eat. Interesting note, you pay at the beginning. Great idea, this way when you are done you can leave without having to wait for the check. FB has a great selection of Chinese, Japanese, Korean and American (mostly dessert) dishes. Once we got sat it was time for Round 1. I like to walk the aisles to get a sense of the offerings. With FB there was alot. I immediately went with some dumplings, skewers and egg rolls. For Round 2, beef ribs (nice), stir-fried veggies and fried rice. For Round 3, more ribs, kung pao chicken, pork buns and fried shrimp. For Round 4, a few more dumplings, bbq pork and a little more fried rice. It was as that point I was almost ready to hang up the gloves. But, they had red Jello. Of course, I had to balance it out with some fresh cut oranges. Oh, yeah. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. These folks do a fantastic job with buffet. I ate like it was my last meal on Earth and it was heaven. This place is definitely on my Return List. I am more than happy to make the drive out to the East Bay. Although next time I will wear stretchy pants. And now for your viewing pleasure.

Yummy food options for the price. Took my dad for his birthday with my siblings. First time there and it was delish. Can't beat the food and price. A little crammed in there, but we there to eat and that's what we did. Service was great! Quick and attentive and the ambiance was family oriented, loud and bus. I'll be back, but not sure when. It's a little out of the way for me. Sorry didn't take much photos, was busy grubbing.

Thsi buffet is newly opened. Opened several months ago.Staff very friendly. Food was decent and well above qulity from other buffets around the bay area. Soda and drink are self fillable. Great selection of food. Lots of fish an shrimp and other sweafood provided on the hot line. I would say my only gripe with the location is the narrow pathways between the drink station and the hot food line. Primarily attended by the elderly in the lunch hour on the weekday, they stand around the hot food line and pase for a very long time deciding whether not to get the shrimp or kun pao chicken on the line. Blocking way for those who know what they want. Had tried most of the food items, the item fresh and moist. The item I didnt like was the fish, been sitting in the heat lamp too long, forming a dry skin on the fish and making it chewy. Desserts are few and lacklaster.Susdhi was decent. Bathroom clean. rerasonable pricing for the buffet. Adults are $19.99/for lunch. staff quick to clear tables. I wouls come back to try some of the items i mimssed and try dinner

Be careful with the 10% service charge for parties over 8. We didn't realize it was already added, so we ended up paying more than 20% in tips. Also, they ask you to pay before being seated, which makes it harder to double-check the charges. We actually had to go back and ask for a receipt to understand the breakdown. The food and experience were good overall, and we would have given 4 stars if this hadn't happened.

Fusion Buffet is located on the north side of Sun Valley Mall, occupying the space vacated by Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ. My buddy George F. and I came check out this spot on 05/23/2025. It was pretty busy when we walked in at around 11:30am. We were greeted by the front counter staff, and payment was made on the spot. After the transaction was completed, one of the staff seated us at a booth. The interior was spacious and clean, but the booth we were in was kind of tight. If I was 20 lbs heavier, I would have trouble getting in and out. Their buffet featured the usual fare - sushi, cooked seafood, Chinese dishes, dim sum, Mongolian BBQ, American food, soups and salad, desserts, etc. I tried many items and thought the overall quality range from average to decent. The Chinese dishes were probably the best part. Options were plentiful and tasted like they were freshly made. The cooked seafood section had clams, crayfish, shrimp, fried and steamed fish, squid, etc. I tried some of them and they were so-so. The sushi selection was limited to low-end rolls and nigiris. Service was very good. The front counter staff were friendly and welcoming, and the floor staff worked hard to clear our table of plates. All in all, I thought the experience was decent. Although the food was a mixed bag (more on the positive side), the excellent service, ambiance, and value overshadowed the lackluster aspects. I will return. 3.5 stars rounding up to 4.

We were really impressed with the variety at Fusion Buffet. They truly have something for everyone. From fresh seafood like crab legs and sushi, fun appetizers such as salmon ragoons, a wide selection of Chinese dishes, and even a chocolate fountain. Every dish we tried tasted fresh, and we kept going back for more. The service was great as well. Even on a Friday night, we were seated quickly. The atmosphere and decor gave off a modern, almost Las Vegas-style vibe, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we loved this place and highly recommend it. Fusion Buffet definitely exceeded our expectations.

If you love seafood & 'Chinese' food I would definitely recommend this buffet. It is very affordable for $30 pp for dinner. It's very clean inside and the waiter staff are very attentive and nice when they clear off your empty plates. We went for my bf's birthday & he had a great time. He love's Chinese American food and everything on the menu was up his ally. I focused more on seafood to get the most out of my $ and also so that I could eat more. I love how they have cold and warm seafood options. My fav part was the chocolate fountain and we had unlimited amount of ice cream scoops w chocolate on top lol. Definitely a cute spot to take family or friends but if you haven't tried it yet I would definitely recommend!

I ordered the lunch Mongolian beef as with steam rice, beef chow mein, and their fried prawns! The meal comes with a small hot and sour soup but when I asked if they could leave that out he offered me wonton soup instead which was so nice and unexpected since I know they don't usually allow substitutions. Now on to the taste of everything: Beef Chow Mein - 10000/10 this is one of the few Chinese restaurants I order beef from because their beef is so silky and tender not chewy at all Mongolian Beef - 8/10 super yummy with a nice Mongolian flavor but a little to spicy to eat a lot of. It's a lot better with the noodles or steam rice. Fried Prawn - 8/10 super light and crispy and the shrimp are never fishy or bland, I love the batter it's like a beer batter/ tempura and it comes with a sweet and sour sauce Overall I give Shan Shan Low a 9/10 this place is a staple for me when I want good quality consist Chinese food perfect for a low pressure date or even just meeting with a bunch of friend or family since the inside is so large! Oh also my total was about $43 for all this and me and my partner at the leftovers for dinner :)

I've heard of Yi Ji Chang Fen but only tried it today. I've eaten so much dim sum in my lifetime, so my standard for dim sum may be higher. We came around 5PM on a Saturday and there wasn't anyone really there. It could be because dim sum feels more like a morning or lunch thing, or it could just be because we were there for a very early dinner. Between our party, we shared: - Marinated Chicken and Mushroom Rice Roll - Stuffed Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf - Steamed Chicken Feet w/ Black Bean Sauce - Black Gold Egg Custard Buns - Chicken Feet with Herbs - Dry Style Beef Chow Fun And one Honey Lemon Tea for me. The honey lemon tea was a comfort for the cold day. Maybe a bit too much honey, but still good for the throat during the dry season. The chow fun came first and surprisingly it was not bad. There was a bit of 'wok hey' there and it stands out as one of the better dishes we had. As for the rice roll - I wanted to try something less conventional and I've never seen chicken in rice rolls, so I thought it would be interesting to try. It was quite disappointing though. Their rice roll was bigger than normal in width so with rice rolls being a struggle to pick up already, the bigger size made it an even bigger struggle. Everything just slipped out of the rice roll and it wasn't evenly wrapped. There were some bunched up layers on the edges. I think the chicken just didn't pair that well either and it was lacking in ingredients. Maybe the more conventional rice rolls would be better. For the two types of chicken feet, I normally like the one in herbal soup. If made well, the chicken feet has a nice flavor to it. For Yi Fen's herbal chicken feet, their portion was pretty good, but flavor was less prominent. I enjoyed the chicken feet in black bean sauce more because the flavor was better. Lastly, for the stuffed sticky rice and black gold egg custard buns, I suspect that these are not made in-house, but rather store-bought. The sticky rice lacked ingredients and the rice was a little harder than if made fresh. And the perfectly shaped black buns with a golden brush stroke on top (which I've seen all over the internet) seemed too elevated-looking compared to everything else. I'm not the biggest fan of molten lava buns, but they came out nicely. I didn't have any, but the molten lava custard was pretty runny. All in all, an okay experience. Service was a bit lacking. I don't recommend the dim sum dishes, but if I happen to want congee, I may give this place another go. Apart from the dim sum and rice rolls, the noodles I glimpsed from other customers looked not bad. I wonder if other locations are better.

Service is slow and must be prompted to get any attention which is fine but different from other…read morelocations. The food is better than Berkeley and congee was the right consistency and my kids liked the food. Would be a great location if service is better. Still prefer the San Lorenzo store but wouldn't hesitate coming back when in the area.

The flavors are mouthwatering every time, and somehow the broccoli is always cooked perfectly. Crisp, tender, vibrant, and never overdone, which honestly says a lot. What really keeps us coming back, though, is the service. It goes above and beyond in a way that still catches me off guard. Here, they really try to work around your schedule, and that small detail says a lot. One small note, just to be fair... when ordering for pickup, and even once during pickup, my wife felt the person at the door was a little brisk with her. She jokingly compared it to dealing with a car dealership, in regards to their "attitude" with her. I've never personally had that experience, so apparently I'm the designated pickup person now. And they always give my daughter an extra fortune cookie IF/while we're waiting so... that's a plus, for my daughter lol!! Even with that, we keep coming back because the food is just that good. Delicious, thoughtful, and consistently satisfying. We really love this place!! :D
