I'm usually not super into buffets but I was impressed with this one for the price and the quality of food. What stood out is the sushi selection. They used real sushi rice and it was well seasoned. The fish to rice ratio was close to getting sushi at your local restaurant. The other things they offered was good too like ribs, crab legs, oysters etc. Had a good time and they were attentive with our table. Kids eat free if they are less than three feet tall.

This buffet was typical lower end buffet quality but with a nice clean modern interior. I was between a 3 and 2 star until someone in my party started passing around the fruit salad as a game because the taste was unbearable and nobody could guess what it is (tasted like no joke fluoride from the dentist). Most of the plates had a lot of left overs just because majority of the food was not that good. I hate to be negative because everyone was friendly and it does taste like what I would have expected from a buffet.

While I still stand by what I wrote about coming here for weekend lunch and how hectic it can get, I think the food they offer on weekends is much better than what they serve during weekday lunch. I'm still generally not a big fan of visiting on weekends though. Because the place gets so crowded, you sometimes have to wait a while for certain items to be replenished. But my favorite food that they serve only on the weekend (or dinner) are the Steamed Oysters served in their gigantic shells, which look absolutely impressive, and the Grilled Sweet Shrimp. The Sweet Shrimp reminds me of Tiger Prawns, just much much bigger, and they taste amazing. They're incredibly juicy, and the meat is so tender too. They also offer sashimi on the weekends, although it's limited to Salmon and Tuna. Other than those though, the rest of the food is pretty much the same as the weekday lunch menu. I'm really glad to see they're doing so well. The place was packed when we came here for lunch yesterday. The service was fast and spot on as always. The servers were constantly making their rounds and clearing dirty plates from the tables as soon as they saw them. Great service. Also, they're currently giving 5% off if you pay in cash, just fyi.

This buffet was a disappointment overall. Most of the dishes were either too sweet or lacked flavor. The variety of food was decent, but the selection wasn't particularly extensive, and while the quality was acceptable, there wasn't a single dish that stood out or felt worth coming back for. The desserts appeared to be pre-made and brought in from outside rather than freshly prepared, and unfortunately, they didn't taste very good. Cleanliness was also an issue. Some of the plates, bowls, and especially the cups were not properly cleaned--I noticed coffee stains and even lipstick marks on a few cups. On the positive side, the service was fine. Staff were attentive in clearing used plates promptly. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and I left feeling disappointed.

What a big mistake coming here! Now I'm hooked I loved this place! Lunch was $21.99 Buffett. The food was like eating a more expensive meal at any other restaurant for a great price. They had plenty of seafood to eat, salmon scallop crawfish, shrimp bass, chicken. So much to choose from! Even a variety of sushi! Great service from the cashier to the lady cleaning our plates from the table. Bathrooms were very clean too!

I went in with pretty low expectations since it's a buffet and I heard it can get crowded, but this place completely surprised me. It turned out to be one of the best buffet experiences I have had. My family and I visited on a weekday around 12:30 PM. While it wasn't packed, most of the tables were already occupied. Just a heads-up: kids are charged based on height. You pay upfront, and the staff helps you find a table, which keeps things organized. The food selection is impressive, and they are quick to refill dishes, so everything stays fresh and hot--almost like ordering à la carte. There's a great variety, but my personal favorites were the crab in shell, all the chicken dishes, sesame balls, and the desserts. Drinks and ice cream are included, which is a nice bonus. Overall, it's a great spot to try a wide range of dishes and discover new favorites. Definitely worth a visit.

I got my crew all together now, on our way to SF, but I wanted to wait awhile and let this stupid traffic die down some, so we decided to have dinner here or I decided. I know what keep everyone on the crew happy and a Chinese buffet lets everyone have what they want. This Fusion Buffet is located at the Sun Valley Mall. I think this location used to be a BBQ joint or something, it's right near the BJ;s Brewhouse. I like that place too! Lots of parking and easy to find. The buffet is pretty standard I think. We get seated and rink orders taken. Service is the usual Asian buffet, just get the drinks out and clear the plates, no reason to be friends. There's a big selection of food including all the normal American Chinese stuff, like orange chicken and egg rolls. There did seem to be a few more authentic Chinese dishes I didn't recognize, but no chicken feet! There's also a sushi selection. The buffet did it's job and got everyone fed. The quality I'd say was decent, cause the trays got refilled quickly. There were a lot of customers in here. Decent buffet I'd say.

I had the pleasure of eating at Fusion Buffet for the first time. I love the variety of foods. Everything from a sushi station, seafood area, meats of all kinds, a Mongolian bbq stir fry section, soups, desserts and much more. The nice thing is that drinks are also included in the $29.99 price. My favorite items were definitely the Mongolian station and the pork and beef ribs. The staff were all very friendly. The dining area is very large. They can accommodate large groups and the huge crowds of people that come to enjoy the food here. I highly recommend for those wanting to try a seafood Asian buffet.

The place feels modern and there is a good amount of seating available. The chairs are super comfortable. Please note you will have to pay in advance. They do offer a free birthday meal with 6 paying adults. The food selection is quite extensive and everything was quite good for a buffet. They even have a Mongolian bbq station as well. The drinks are included. The $21.99 for lunch is an amazing deal. The servers stopped by the tables often to clear the used dishes and were very pleasant. I would highly recommend this place.

Located inside Sunvalley Shopping Center in Concord, this buffet is easy to find and has plenty of parking, which is always a plus. As buffets have become less common these days, I'm glad to see a this one open in the area. The pricing is all-inclusive. You pay first, get seated, and then you're free to enjoy as much food as you'd like. There is a good variety of food options available, including sushi, stir-fried dishes, seafood, and much more. The drink selection includes fountain drinks, hot chocolate, tea, and coffee. They even have a chocolate fountain, which was a fun touch. The dessert selection was decent, but I think it could be improved. I would love to see a soft-serve ice cream machine added instead of only offering the pre-packaged ice cream cups. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean, and well-lit, with plenty of seating for both small and large groups. One thing to note is that all members of your party must be present before being seated. The service was pleasant throughout our visit. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and very helpful with our large party. Overall, not bad at all! While there are a few areas that could be improved, there is plenty of variety, a comfortable dining space, and a welcoming staff. I'd definitely come back when I'm in the mood for a buffet.

Another place we have been meaning to try for a while and glad we did. You pay at the front before you are seated. Servers regularly cleared plates off the table. Ambiance is modern and fun.We came for late lunch Saturday afternoon. It was busy but not overwhelming. We were seated within 5 minutes of checking in. The food was great. A good variety of Asian selections including seafood with variety of shrimp and crab options. There was a limited selection of dessert but we didn't mind considering tge variety of other food. The quality of everything from the sushi, dim sum, to the oysters were all amazing. The beef ribs fell off the bones. Even the fries were crispy and well seasoned. We are giving it the 5 stars for quality compared to other buffets. Even had real ice cream. Drinks were also included in buffet price. There was the 3 of us and was weekend price so a little over $100 for all of us with tip and tax. Definitely will be back.

The only time I go to a buffet is when I take my parents out for special occasions & this place did not disappoint! Everything was so good, there wasn't one thing I didn't complain about! The 2 stars I've left is only for the quality of food & the ambiance, which were good for the price you pay. However, my family & I were highly disappointed after dinner tonight. My son spit out a clipped FINGERNAIL from the clam chowder he was eating. It was most definitely, clearly a fingernail & not a seafood shell of any kind. I failed to get a photo of it because, at first, I didn't intend on making a public statement about it. I immediately brought the nail up to the man working at the host desk & told him I wasn't going to make a scene about the fingernail in the food but it was in the clam chowder and something needed to be done. He claimed he couldn't recognize what the item was & that he would get back to me. But he never made any contact nor did they bother to remove the pot of soup it was in. They knew and continued to allow patrons to keep eating from it. Such a shame that a new, nice establishment has poor food handling and even worst management when unsanitary items are found in the food. & to top it off, instead of doing anything they could to fix the situation and stop people from further consuming the soup, they greeted us as we were leaving saying "have a great night". This mishandling of the situation ruined any future visits for us. read more

The worst place ever!! Do not go here!! Came in with a group of 13 peoples and they would not let my 11 yrs old daughter pass because she was just slightly over about 1/2 inch over the 5ft mark. we waited over an hour to get into this place and the hosts didn't have a plan where to seat us and did not tell us drinks were also self serve. the table they sat us at wasn't even wiped down. the table still had a toothpick and sauce from the previous person's meal! the ice cream is self serve so i saw a bunch of kids putting their hands into the ice cream while scooping. the pathway to walk is also extremely claustrophobic and crowded with little guidance on where to walk. the chocolate fountain was a mess and the drink fountain was expelling a dirty wet mop smell. also the hosts came to our table to say "your 90 minutes is almost up" with no sign or verbal policy about the time limit when we came in. i asked her "how much longer do we have?" and she just said "thanks for understanding" and walked away. hello? never coming back here. inside decor is pretty but this place needs better organization and the food is mid. read more

Honestly, I was really surprised by how much we enjoyed our meal here. The sushi (by buffet standards) was great, the cooked selection was delicious, seafood was fresh and cooked noodle bar was tasty. The only thing that was a bit of a miss was one of the soups but besides that everyone in my family (including the picky eaters) loved everything we had. The only thing we wished for was more selection but there's more than enough that you can't really try everything without getting full. Best buffet I've been to in a long time, the quality and flavor in the food was very impressive. The variety of selection was huge and everything I tried was so very good. Even the quality in the ice cream, I'm use to cheap not good ice cream at buffets but not at this 1. I gave this place a second chance after my first visit and the selection is still very limited compared to other buffets. The service is very good both times. Food is honestly lacking flavor and taste again. I wish they would let me know 90 mins limit before seating not 10 mins before asked to leave. They ask you pay before eating and offer you 10% off bill after you pay to review on yelp. Ice cream has 4 flavors now this time instead of last time only had one flavor. read more

The variety of dishes is impressive ! there's truly something for everyone, from fresh sushi and flavorful stir-fries to perfectly seasoned meats and crisp salads. First time trying this place with my husband yesterday we arrived at 3pm paid for lunch... so much food, we got full with just 2 plates each... what I noticed was that dinner service starts at 3:30 so they start putting dinner dishes like the more expensive stuff.. next to our booth there was an old couple.. the elder lady went to grab more food a small plate of maybe like 3 pieces of some sort of dinner appetizer.. since she didn't pay for dinner the hostess came and took away her plate and told her she had to pay for dinner if she wanted to eat it, the elder lady declined... I fell so bad for her... honestly after seeing what they did it got us upset and we left... they rather throw away a fresh plate of food than letting her eat it and just tell her not to grab dinner options after that... we also felt very watched made it hard to enjoy the food when all the workers are staring at your every move read more

Overall an excellent lunch. All of the items I ate were fresh and flavorful. Despite being mostly full I had no trouble getting my food promptly. I might try to get a table along the outside of the dining area in the future. The middle of the area feels crowded and I don't like having other people so close to me that I have to listen to every word of their conversation. But otherwise the experience was great. This had no pork and very little of the proteins. It also had no bok choy and was incredibly flavorless. To be quite honest, both soups were this way. By far, the best thing were the pot stickers. The lemon chicken lunch special left a lot to be desired. The flavor of the lemon glaze was good, but the chicken had a lot of super chewy bits. There was a lot of gristle and fat. I was really disappointed. The portions were very disappointing. It did not match the price point. With so many other Asian restaurants to enjoy, I'm not sure I'll be back to this one. I figured I'd give it a shot, and I did.

One star but if there is zero it will be . I am not writing my review based on one time visit or one situation management is not good. They also had bad manners to speak with customers regardless any situation. we were two people in waiting for more than 20 minutes and when we asked them there are so many empty seats which is good for two people if the party size only two people. Eventually they said no will go per group reservation number. So when I explained that section can fit so many people even two or four if the group was up to four they said no still you have to wait because we go by numbers of your reservation not by anything else. That doesn't make sense at all.one more thing there is handicap person were seating on chair waiting. The attendance asked her to stand up because they have to take that chair. We were really looking forward to trying this new restaurant. The beautiful decor gave us high expectations, but unfortunately, the overall experience was quite disappointing. We won't be returning, and here's why: 1. Not Kid-Friendly - Their policy for children is confusing and unfair. Instead of charging by age, they charge based on height, which doesn't make sense--especially for younger kids who are naturally taller. It felt unreasonable. 2. Poor Food Quality - The food didn't seem fresh, which is surprising for a newly opened restaurant. Even worse, it made my entire family sick with stomachaches and diarrhea later that night. 3. Unprofessional Service - While the staff seemed friendly, they lacked proper training. The service felt disorganized and unprepared, and it was clear they didn't know how to deliver a good customer experience. read more

Let me start by saying I don't al understand the bad reviews. Fusion Buffet truly impressed me! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance set the tone -- modern, spacious, and beautifully lit with a clean, upscale feel. The food selection was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh and flavorful options that catered to every craving. Everything I tried was delicious and well-prepared, from the sushi to the hot entrees and desserts. The service was equally exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and quick to clear plates without being intrusive. It really made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I really wanted to enjoy my visit to this buffet, but unfortunately, my experience was soured by the owner's rude attitude. The food itself was decent nothing extraordinary, but it had a good variety. However, the way the owner interacted with customers was unprofessional and off-putting. When I asked a simple question about one of the dishes, the owner responded curtly and made me feel like I was being a bother. I also noticed him speaking dismissively to other guests, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere overall. I believe customer service is just as important as the food, and sadly, that's where this place really fell short. I hope the owner takes this feedback to heart and makes some changes. I recently visited this buffet and had a good experience overall! The Mongolian noodle bar was definitely a highlight -- tasty and customizable. Most of the food was average buffet-style, but the vermicelli clam served in the shell stood out as above average and surprisingly flavorful. I also ate way more crab legs than I planned (no regrets!), and the fried rice was solid too. For dessert, the self-serve ice cream station is simple but fun, and the tea and coffee being self-serve is convenient. We were seated during the last few hours before closing, and I appreciated seeing the staff constantly cleaning and wiping down the buffet area. For $30 a person and $20 a kid, the value just isn't there. Salt and pepper crab was all black inside, the fresh crab looked a little better but sat empty for at least an hour while we were there so didn't get to try much. The layout is a little strange with desserts in the middle. Ice cream selection was mostly empty. Chocolate fountain was unusable and pretty gross so I'm not sure why they didn't just put it away. The inside looks nice enough and the staff who clear dishes were fast and friendly however you go to a buffet for tasty food, and I just didn't find much of that here. My experience here was great. The customer service, the host were lovely. They led me to my table greeted me when I got there. They even open the door for me which I found very respectful. Ambience was calm and nice. Everyone knew what they were doing and the bussers are constantly clearing my table. I eat a LOT so I found that very nice while I was eating. The place itself is very clean and the food gets refilled very frequently. The bathrooms were not trashed at ALL and they were very busy. read more

The food was satisfactory, but there are better alternatives available. As a new establishment, it is attracting attention, but its popularity may wane over time. One concern I have is that the management posted on TikTok, claiming to have removed height requirements for children, only to revert to an age-based requirement after customer complaints. In reality, no such change was implemented. Overall, the experience was decent, but there are superior options elsewhere. read more

Wow, what an absolute feast! The spread at this fusion buffet was totally next-level. I headed straight for the sushi station--delicious! Then, I made my way over to the seafood section to grab some walnut prawns and oysters. The blend of Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese flavors all in one place was honestly a dream come true. Sorry I can stand their charging different bu different person. Not fair to the kid. I will be ok with they charge all time same on kid. But not different. I dont mind paying the extra $5 , but you can tell me you charge different for just 3 days different. Bad service. If you kid wear high heels shoes and they close to 4ft. They charge you different everytime. I am reg customer. I came here every single week. But I wont be anymore. read more

The weight was around 45 minutes. The food was not hot. All items were mostly lukewarm the swarm of people and the direction of which you serve yourself and walk in is rather confusing creating a lot of congestion. Maybe they're set up could be made differently to steer clear of running into others with full plates for the price, totally not happy with the food quality. read more

Had lunch here, selections offered were disappointing, no fusion whatsoever, just the name of the place. Expect the usual food selections offered at thousands other Asian buffets, only with quality of food at above average quality. If you like this type of food, you will not be disappointed, as the typical food quality at Asian Buffet is horrible. read more

The food is delicious, especially the fried chicken wings. They also offer free drinks, sushi, and ice cream. I've been here more than ten times in the past three months. I do wish they would change the menu every week. Prices are $20.99 for weekday lunch and $29.99 on weekends. read more
