The chef adds in generic soy that is diluted, oil and water to flavor your food. Cost of meal includes your beverages, hot and cold. Went on Sunday for lunch and place got packed within a half hour of opening at 11 AM. Very clean restaurant and impressed they even keep their restrooms clean. My husband and I went on Memorial Day for lunch. It was pretty busy but the sign in said that we would wait around 23 to 36 minutes. I believe it was about 30 minutes we waited. The place was really nice and clean too. The service was very good. I did not like the crab or the crawfish it was mushy and bland. I didn't think the sushi was going to be good, but it surprisingly was. There was even sashimi, but when they put it out it soon disappeared because everybody wanted some, it also was good. The crab raccoon was the best I've ever had in my life. It was perfect. As we were leaving we were taking a selfie with that big bear in the entrance and one of the staff members stopped what they were doing to come take a picture for us and we didn't even ask so I thought that was really great customer service. The sushi is what is to be expected for a buffet, nothing special. They had pretty good dessert options, ice cream fresh fruit and chocolate fondue fountain too. Wife had the clam chowder and while flavorful, it was pretty thin without much body. The highlight to me was the Mongolian grill. A buffet's signature is providing tasty options and variety, and this one provides. If you like Chinese fusion and seafood, this place has something yummy for everyone! Even on a busy weekend, workers made sure empty plates didn't sit on your table long. It was such a bargain trying different sushi rolls, American Chinese dishes (think Kung Pao Chicken), and different seafood (mussels, crab legs, steamed oysters). They make sure each buffet selection is a reasonable size so when it's empty, it can be replenished and taste fresh/hot. I also love the help yourself soda machines, tea, and ice cream. I got to eat a bit of everything at my own pace and then narrow down what I wanted for seconds. We found Fusion Buffet on Apple Maps. We're I. Town for a couple days and was looking for a buffet close to us. We were greeted warmly by the host and taken to our table right away. There is a great assortment of sushi. The hibachi grill was well stocked with chicken, beef, shrimp, and sausage with fresh veggies. The guy working the grill was on it! We didn't wait that long, HOWEVER, there was already a long line to get food. they ARE a pay first then get sat down buffet so be aware. I had to give 3/5 stars bc they gave an HOUR-eating time frame for everyone. I know some buffets and restaurants give 90mins. but an hour? not even enough time to properly inhale my food. suffice to say, we had to snarf our food down bc there was apparently a bajillion other people waiting to eat for an hour as well. food was good. great food choices. saw a familiar face from another buffet place working. other than that... Lone Tree Buffet is still a little bit better. However, Fusion is good if you're in the area and don't feel like trekking out to Brentwood direction (with horrible traffic and all). There was a large chandelier in the lobby, along with a very large bear made of glass (I think), a few feet away. I really like the dangling lights and the neon lights. We came in on a Monday during lunch, but it wasn't too busy yet. We were greeted as we walked in, then seated right away after we paid. The food was delicious, but my only minor complaint was the aftertaste of the clam chowder. I'm glad that beverages are included; it was my first time seeing coffee, tea packets, and hot chocolate at a buffet. I was excited for the ice cream and chocolate fondue, The service is great; finished plates were cleared right away, and the friendly hosts at the front were smiling while saying thank you as we left. My family came here for my sons birthday and the food was good. I had the crab, sushi, and the coconut shrimp. They were all very good. The crab was decent, they had butter sauce and cocktail sauce which was a great addition. I also tried their fried shrimp and it was great. My husband liked their Chinese food section and he's pretty picky. No one liked the chocolate fountain but I saw a lot of people having it. I even liked the hot and sour soup. I was pleasantly surprised with the food because usually buffets can be mediocre, but this place was definitely a treat. The ambiance was nice too. Bathrooms were clean. Workers were friendly. Price was great, around $30 per person for an hour and a half and everyone got to try food that they enjoyed instead of having to eat at different restaurants for different foods. We will be back. Foodwise had no flavor at all to them. They were all lacking salt or msg in the Chinese dishes. The tuna sushi tasted all rubbery and the sushi rice was super mushy and watery. The salt and pepper crab were small and had barely any meat in them. Even the ice cream that you have to scoop yourself had no flavor either. Stopped by for lunch today. Ambiance: the interior is very nice and clean. Price: $18 for adult lunch. Food: at around 11ish, most of the foods seems to be "pre-heated" from dinner before, except for a couple items. The food that served during lunch time reminds me of Panda Express (mushroom chicken, kung pao chicken, pineapple chicken, broccoli beef, fried rice, chow mein). As for seafood, they only served Clams and crawdad. I love clams, but what I had today was TOOOO SALTY!!! I added hot water to try to dilute the saltiness, and that didn't help. Sushi selection was not that big, and it was pretty simple (disappointing). Drinks: is priced with the meal. With that being said, you can get a decent lunch for under $20 versus to Panda Express. Services: everyone were friendly and attentive to cleaning up the dishes, once we were done with it. We'll try again for dinner to see what selections they have and the flavor. When I saw this new buffet I got excited because I remember Todai Buffet across the mall I used to frequent. The place look very nice and clean. The service is good. That's the good news. The bad news is the food is not that great. And the selection is limited. Not enough salad and soup selection. The seafood didn't have the favorites like clams. Service was good, all are very polite and welcoming. You have to pay before getting to be seated. I saw lot of reviews saying they have food poisoning so I was very cautious on the food choice. TBH, the plates were extremely dirty, I saw lot of food residues in most of the "new" plates and utensils, so no wonder. So make sure you bring wipes to clean; and I saw a lady was handling ALL raw fish sashimi with bare hands(no gloves) and she was flipping the whole slice of raw tuna around and around, that was so gross so I didn't eat sushi at all. For the foods, $20, what do you expect? All buffets are super dirty, so it's new, good to have a try, but just be cautious of the cleanliness. BUT, good thing is, besides soda machines, they have hot tea bags and chocolate, to people who can't have icy drink Overall, I didn't enjoy the soups (clam chowder, hot&sour soup, nor sago), but out of all the foods, I like the plain red jelly and cooked clams.
