We enjoyed Funnox the first time we attended on opening day. It was really crowded and as the day went on it was really loud. I couldnt help but notice that the place appears to have been very quickly put together. The wallpaper along the walls has bubbles underneath and the edges aren't coming together. The tables still have the plastic wrap partially ripped off on the feet. The floors also look like wallpaper was put down. It seems they got this place up and running very quick. That being said the second time we came they were very strict about us entering. We paid from 11-1230 and got there before, but they said we couldn't get in until 11, or if we wanted to go in now, we would get a different wrist band that would essentially shorten our total time to 75 minutes instead of the purchased 90. I feel like SkyZone is way better when it comes to this. Moving on, we had to leave and walk back 10 minutes later before we could go in. While I get it, I kind of feel a little flexibility makes sense. Also, they called out 6 minutes early for my childrens colored band. They said "your time is up" instead of "You have 6 minutes left". The rigidity is really not my thing. That being said, my children do love it and they are having special pricing right now to enter, as well as special birthday pricing. They do not have food. They have a water fountain and a vending machine, but nothing else. I also asked about annual memberships and shockingly they do not have them. She said they will offer 6 visits at a 25% discount each, which brings it to $89. I think they will have a problem staying open not offering annual or at least monthly memberships.

I took my two boys 9 and 6 here for the first time and they had the best time! The area is clean and well staffed. I was having technical difficulties with the vending machine and the manager came by quickly and was beyond nice in helping out. I've been to a lot of kids play areas in north county and I truly appreciate it when the staff is helpful and nice. We will definitely be back!

A friend told me about this new indoor inflatable playground opening up in Escondido and we decided to try it out. Overall it was a fun experience. It was crazy packed because they just opened up. You enter the inflatable zone and there's various characters, hide out spots, jumping areas, and a climbing/slide area in the back. Anyone can jump but must have a paid admission ticket. Kids 5 years and under must have a paid adult accompanying them. Each admission includes 90 mins of jumping time. They have a filtered water station in front of the restrooms which is nice because the kids were definitely thirsty running around. There's a lot of tables and chairs set up for parents to hang out. I recommend you bring some snacks and drinks as there is no cafe or food service inside. The reason for 3 stars: - they do not have rolling timed entries, just 90 min blocks (11am, 1230, 2, 330, etc) which sucks if there's a long line and you check in past your designed time, your time gets prematurely cut down. - they need to have more workers supervising the kids inside the inflatable. There was a lot of kids coming out crying, saying someone hit or pushed them, or someone got jumped on. Having kids 6 and up in the same area is a wide age range. - the area for the little ones (5 and under) was really small - they are running a promotion for $4 admission (plus a mandatory $4 sock fee) the first 10 days they are open. Definitely worth the $8 fee but not sure I would come here on a regular basis for $22 per kid plus a sock fee which gets pricey if you have multiple kids. Maybe consider a discount for parents with 2 or more kids?

I saw this place on instagram and thought to try it out despite the negative reviews. We came on a Saturday around 1pm and there was no line at all. Parking was easy and free. Price was $22 for 90 minutes which is pretty good. They have an area with tables and chairs where parents can relax while the kids jump away! There is no cafeteria onsite so plan accordingly for snacks. We saw the area for birthday parties and it looks like a great option. Kids had a blast!

Very impressive and fun indoor bounce house playground. We came here with their special new open discount, the price is amazing and kids under 2 is free! They have all sorts of fun stuffs here and it is good for all ages, even for adults! There's a cute small area for kids under 5, my baby enjoyed it and has a lot of fun. We will definitely come back or check out their other locations.

Went in their second weekend with my 9 year old. We had a total blast. Nice staff, totally fun vibe. I get others who had younger younger kids there and worrying the could get trampled. When we went (about 10:30 on Sunday, it was busy but not hectic, so all I saw were happy kids and parents. The main area is huge, so if you are a nervous parent (or have a runner) you might be stressed because it's easy to lose sight of them. But I love there is only one way in and out, so when I weren't in there with him, I wasn't worried about him sneaking out.

Okay! I've been waiting to bring my 2 year old here and we had a BLAST! It was opening day, so yes, lots of kids and a little chaos (totally expected when you go right at open on day one ). But beyond that, the atmosphere was amazing for kids. This is definitely the new go-to spot to bring your little ones. Escondido really needed this! The staff were great, super courteous, and intentional about making sure everyone followed the rules. I really appreciated that, especially with a 2 year old who insists on running with the big kids and doing everything they're doing. I also have to say, this is the first place I've been where the older kids were genuinely aware of the little ones and so courteous to them. That meant a lot. We will definitely be back again and again. Now we're just hoping they offer a membership soon!

My kid loved this experience! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. The interior decor is very vibrant and happy. Lots of places for parents to sit. You could even plug into an outlet if you needed to get some work done. We'll definitely be back!

This location is more compact, still cool free video games to play. Their concession stand has ample supply of ice cream and other items. Great prices just like Carlsbad! I would say this is perfect for toddlers and younger children. When we went with my almost 10 year old there were armies of 5 and under. Probably closer to 3 and under. I wish I knew about this location when he was smaller. They even have a jungle gym good for the younger crowd and opened their Skytower while we were there. Would highly recommend this location for the younger Skyzone members it's perfect size to chase your child around and not have them get lost. Their toddler time was popping. The minimum jump time is now 2 hours instead of 1 hour, and the price has nearly doubled. To make things even worse, a monthly membership costs about the same as a single visit, which makes the pricing feel very misleading. Since I was there with 10-year-old kids, I thought buying the monthly memberships would be the smarter option because we could always come back. Unfortunately, after only 20 minutes, the kids were begging to leave. Most of the attractions now seem geared toward much younger children. It is nothing like it used to be. I went to the manager, explained the situation, and asked if they could refund the memberships since we had barely used them. I was simply told that memberships are non-refundable. There was no effort to help or make things right. Manager was extremely RUDE. This place feels like a cash grab under the new ownership. The value is gone, the experience is worse, and customer service is nonexistent. There are far better places to take your kids and spend your money. We will never be back, and I certainly can't recommend Sky Zone San Marcos to anyone.

When we pay to go play at the trampoline park, I don't want my kids to get distracted by all the blinking arcade games. So I prefer this one over the one in Miramar. We came for a birthday party and the host reserved a dedicated room for the party. That was nice to have our own space. This place is popular for birthday parties because that same day, there were at least five other birthday parties and they have multiple parties at the second floor open space. When we arrived, there was a sign saying parents could jump for $6.99 if tickets were purchased there, which was already frustrating. The second we walked in, the heat hit us like a brick. An employee told us that part of their air conditioning was not working. It was around 90 degrees outside, and it genuinely felt cooler outside than it did inside the building. We were sweating just sitting down. We tried to stay optimistic and headed toward the trampolines, but it was so crowded that it was nearly impossible to jump. There were maybe 10 small benches for approximately 50 parents. Where was everyone supposed to sit? I asked whether a manager was available and explained the situation to the employees at the front. They were understanding, took my phone number and said a manager would call me. No one ever did. I also emailed corporate and received no response. We stayed for less than 20 minutes despite paying for two hours for our child and one hour for both adults. Between the broken air conditioning, extreme heat, overcrowding, lack of seating, pricing difference and complete lack of follow-up, this was a terrible experience. Don't waste your time or money at this location.

Instead I emailed and did get a response (thankfully). I still think something needs to be done about their unnecessary automated system where you have to ask a bot to speak to someone...and then you still can't. If I call the location in San Marcos or Carlsbad, there is zero issue getting a hold of a person. I have attempted calling this location multiple times and today to get help for old gift cards we have and to see if I am able to use them. For the love of all things I cannot get a hold of anyone and no one returns my voicemail. I was honestly pretty disappointed with our experience…read more The first thing that stood out was being immediately greeted with a sales pitch for monthly/annual memberships upon checking in. I understand businesses wanting to promote memberships, but it felt like a high pressure upsell rather than a warm welcome. I also just wanted to bring my kids for a quick hour to burn off some energy, but the shortest option available was 90 minutes. We ended up leaving well before the 90 minutes were up because there simply wasn't enough to keep them entertained. I think we stayed less than 30 minutes. The price was also hard to justify. We spent around $70, making it one of the most expensive indoor play places we've visited. We've been to places like candeeland, coffee & kids, and Tiny Tiger that offer far more activities, better upkeep, and staff consistently cleaning throughout the facility. By comparison, this felt like a fairly basic and dirty trampoline park, and one of the larger trampoline areas was closed during our visit. The biggest frustration was the sock policy. I intentionally brought grip socks that my kids already owned from another trampoline park. They were in great condition and functioned exactly the same, but we were told we had to purchase Sky Zone branded socks. There was no meaningful difference in the grip, and it felt like an unnecessary extra charge rather than a genuine safety requirement. What made it even more frustrating was that parents aren't even allowed to step onto or sit near the trampoline area to watch or help their child unless they're wearing Sky Zone's bright orange socks. Even if you're not jumping, you still have to buy their branded socks just to be in that area. It came across as another unnecessary upsell rather than a policy that genuinely benefits customers. The staff also seemed to be constantly policing every little thing. I understand that safety rules are important, especially at a trampoline park, but it often felt like employees were hovering and correcting minor issues instead of creating a welcoming environment. Between the membership sales pitch, mandatory branded socks, limited play options, and the high cost, the value just wasn't there for us. Spending close to $100 after the extra purchases and leaving before even an hour had passed made this an experience we won't be repeating.
