We randomly stopped by while in the area and had a great time! It's not perfect but for a FREE activity, it's pretty good. What makes it 5 stars? - large park with both a little kids (ages 0-3) and big kids (ages 4-10) area. There's several activities including a climbing spider web, swings, rock climbing wall, zip line, several slides on the play structure - private parking lot with maybe 14 spots and plenty of street parking as well - restrooms on the premise - several tables available (some of them were dirty though) - large grass field for playing sports A great place to entertain the kids!

Highland Ranch Park is a nice neighborhood playground/park located between Carmel Mountain Road and Ted Williams Pkwy -- closed to the former. I've passed the park many times on Highland Ranch Road between the two. The playground equipment looks very nice, as does the green space and ball fields. It is clearly intended for the neighborhood. There's a small parking lot ... and restrooms

Huge slides!

This park has the tallest slides you will find at a public park in San Diego. My kids had a blast going down one of the three giant slides. My little dude enjoyed the smaller park in the back which had some shorter slides more to his liking. I'm surprised this park doesn't have a higher rating.

Beautiful scenery here!

My daughter wanted some play time and we found this park on Yelp. I definitely like how it's in a residential area. It's a small playground with lots of activities for the little ones. My daughter liked the mini zip line and the slides. She didn't want to leave. It was around 5:30 and it was windy and cold. I had a light sweater. It gets cold in the evenings. Bring a thick jacket coming here at night. There are plenty of tables and benches behind the play area. So many kids came here with their parents. The parking lot is small and has limited spaces but I found a great spot to park. I'm glad the play ground didn't have sand but wood chips instead. It's less messy. Great for kids. My daughter absolutely loved this park.

This play structure is huge! Check out those slides!

I wish we lived closer so we could come here everyday! This park had everything we needed for a perfect picnic and play time. Most importantly, it's very nice and clean.. the location felt very safe, nestled in a residential area, next to an elementary school. There are two main play structures: one for older kids (with the biggest playground slides we've ever seen!) and one for younger toddlers. In addition, there are swings, a rock wall, and this awesome spiderweb climbing structure. The play area has fences on each side, and then it is open on one side to the parking lot (think of the shape of a triangle). There is plenty of picnic tables covered with shades and clean bathrooms (no graffiti or mess here!). There's also a large grassy area with a baseball field. Overall we had a great time and would visit again if ever in the area! (Side note: the park was pretty much empty until about 4pm, or whenever school got out. The bigger kids still played nice with the little ones, so it was nothing to worry about)

This was a nice park for our three year olds. Separate area for smaller tots and shaded area was a plus.

Built with probably age 7+ in mind but my toddler was able to enjoy everything easily. The slides were metal but it didn't burn anyone going down. I was happy there was a good amount of shade! Bring your own food and snacks. Prices are ridiculous. The ice cream truck was $6 for an ice cream sandwich. Prices are not posted and I didn't have the heart to say nevermind and disappoint the kiddos. Great park!

There are four big pine trees with separate retaining walls around three of them for owners to sit down. With it being so close to the bay, there's often a nice breeze that goes through the park. There's no divide between small dogs and big dogs, so it's best to just keep an eye on your dog, and many owners around here are usually respectful. The street parking immediately adjacent to the park is free, however, it has a limit of 30 minutes, and the parking meter workers are strict on it if they're around. I bring my dog here around lunch time because those who live/ work in the area tend to bring their dogs during their break time and my dog gets his socialization time. They close 8am-11am MWF for maintenance/ cleaning. Currently, both gates are broken so it's not as secure as it should be, and who knows when the city will actually fix it. There're a few agility structures and a water dispenser. The children's park itself looks pretty cool for kids with a lot of structures with slides and swings. There's also another separate area with fixed exercise equipment that looks well- maintained. The water feature in the park is a water feature, not a pool.

After we were doing doing some basic tourist-y things, I hopped on Yelp in search of a few parks located withing the vicinity. Not only was the look and design very unique, you really couldn't ask for a better view. Seating was plentiful and again, the design of things were so cool. Shade is easily found and the play structure is great for children + adults of all ages. Lastly, there are restrooms and water fountain located not too far. Shout out to Ms. Maruta Gardner!! My daughter and I thank you because this place wouldn't have been possible without you. Your dedications and love for your community was undeniable. It offers street parking around all the condos and has 7 chairs to sit at under shade provided by the trees. There is a small trail to walk on with bicycle parking as well. The children park has 2 swings for toddler's and slides. It offers 3 bouncy springers along with ABC's and a planet universe chart for kids to learn and play at the same time. Tweet Street Park is great for smaller younger kids without always worrying about your kids safety since there always insight. Large chunks of the rubbery floor were missing. Leaves, needles and sticks were everywhere and plenty of moisture got built up on the structure so luckily we had a towel to wipe some of it off the slides. There's a path where we saw lots of dog owners and dogs walking and they used the trash can at the playground to drop off the dogs poop, so there was a pervasive feces smell at the playground. While the structure was appropriate for the 2-5 year age group, it didn't feel safe or sanitary given that kids could run into the street or accidentally step in or put dog poop in their mouths.
