It's in a strip shopping center, so the parking was tight and I had to park around the corner. No biggie. We walked in and were seated right away. Our waitress was SUPER friendly and even more helpful. We couldn't decide on an appitizer, so we got 3! One was a sampler platter that had 6 different fried egg rolls. I don't remember what they had, except 2 were stuffed with Mac & cheese. They brought out 2 types of sauces, but the were too sweet for me. Luckily, they have siracha at the table. The next appitizer was spring rolls for my wife. She LOVED them. Then some more rolls. Also very good. It's have to go and look at the menu too remember the name. Their staff is amazing, so kind and courteous, and the food is amazing! The cream cheese egg rolls are the bomb, they have keto noodles that are fabulous so I can feel I am eating noodles! The cloud had a silver lining, as it revealed this little gem of a suburban Asian restaurant. We were first intrigued by the funny, edgy dish names that appealed to our very dry sense of humor. The chef is a risk-taker, melding standard American favorites (spaghetti, wings, ribs, macaroni) with southeast Asian cuisine. Our first venture revealed that his fusion gamble is paying off, hitting the high notes of both Eastern and Western flavors and textures. The establishment is very clean with contemporary decor. All waitstaff were prompt and courteous. When was the last time that a server supplied you with extra napkins without needing to ask, or refilled your teapot at the first request? Yes, they are that on-point! Prices are not super-cheap, but reasonable for fresh, made-to-order dishes. We love crispy Vietnamese egg rolls with veg/shrimp/chicken filling, but were surprised that this standard was not on the menu. Working around our dietary restrictions (never pork nor mac'n'cheese), we tried the Crabby Cream Rolls which were delicious in a generous six-piece serving. The Pho-My Veggies was outstanding, featuring a savory broth of both fruits and vegetables. Its side of lightly breaded fried tofu was the best among many I've tasted. Veggie Fried Rice was equally delicious, with large slices of a variety of fresh vegetables. After being a little disappointed at rival "hot & new" Asian restaurants in the Spring area due to their rising prices and cold entrees, we have a new loyalty to Fu Manchung. My family and I have ordered from here several times. For a appetizer we love the Grohman sampler with flying egg rolls, crabby cream rolls, and the macarolles. We have had their Pho several times which is AMAZING and so refreshing. The broke ass ramen is delicious and we always get their Eloisa house fried rice combination which is delicious too.
