Oxtail Pho
Germanie J.

I randomly stopped by to grab some PHO...Although I had never been here before, I decided to check it out anyway. The lady at the counter was really nice and service was speedy. Despite this, the PHO was the worst I've ever had. I was so disappointed when I got home and saw the "oxtails"...I've had plenty of PHO and oxtails in my lifetime and this was a complete fail. The oxtails were beyond gelatinous and inedible. I ended up just throwing it away. I wanted to like this place but it fell short :-(

Tofu spring rolls, without the tofu...

If you like your spring rolls delivered with the same love and care as a wet sock stuffed with yard trimmings, then Pho NAM is your spot! I called 15 minutes ahead, only to have them give my order away like it was a community raffle. Then, in a last-minute panic, they threw together what I can only describe as an "emergency lettuce grenade" wrapped in sadness and rice paper. I ordered tofu spring rolls. What I got? A botanical mystery roll that exploded in my hand like it had a personal vendetta. Not a trace of tofu. Just a mountain of iceberg, bean sprouts, and disappointment. PHO "NAM" clearly stands for: "Not Always Made" or "No tofu, All lettuce, Mediocre rolls" Save your money. Eat your houseplants. They might be better wrapped...

Nice new Pho restaurant in spring texas. The people are very friendly especially the Chef, he seems very sincere and loves his customer. The Pho is delicious and the servings are big and service is very quick. This is a good addition to the spring area restaurant scene.

Pork Spring Rolls

Phō-M-G! Today was one of those days when the universe simply aligned. First, I was craving pho for lunch. Second, I only had a small window to step away from my home office. Third, this gem showed up Yelp! When I initially looked at the pictures, it was like finding that perfect pet or that perfect car online. I knew I had to go. I will start off by saying that I intentionally over ordered so I could sample some things. I began with the pork spring rolls. They were extremely loaded and flavorful. I pulled a piece of the pork out to try it without everything else and it had an awesome taste. For my main, I ordered a build your own bowl with brisket, meatballs, and a beef rib. It was a perfect meal for the moment. As I grabbed the meat on the rib with my chopstick, it simply melted off the bone. That made constructing each bite much easier. The combination of meets played very nicely together. Unfortunately, it was quite a bit of food and even though I wanted to, I could not finish. Everything tasted amazing in the food came out quickly. Zero complaints. The staff was very friendly. They routinely checked on me. I also watched them clean tables as soon as other people were leaving. The place was very clean. As I say, I continue to browse other pictures on Yelp at this restaurant. There's so much more that I want to try so I will definitely be back!

This place has a nice vibe. The decor is vibrant and the booths have dividers which give you a sense of a little more privacy than a traditional style booth. The service was good. Seat yourself and someone comes to take your order. The owner was walking around asking how everything was and working anything & everything that needed to be done in the restaurant. Now on to what we all came here for: The Food. I had the spring rolls, which were nice and full. Definitely made when ordered. Crispy veggies, fresh shrimp. I should've stopped there because they just about filled me up! I ordered the Pho Taí and O. M. GEEEE! It was so rich and full of flavor. The owner cooks the broth for hrs, the traditional way and man can you taste it!! The noodles were plentiful and I was upset I couldn't eat more! The side veggies were super fresh and crisp as well. I will DEFINITELY be stopping in again when I'm in the area! Want good Pho? Go here!

If you're looking for a place with a family friendly environment where the owner greets you with a big smile and genuine gratitude; a place that anything your order will fill your belly and leave you satisfied you came to the right Pho-king spot. Let's start off with the inside, very clean, modernly decorated with plenty of tables. Grab a menu at the door and head up to the counter for a delicious meal. The Brisket Bahn Mi is a straight 10/10 and get it with a fried egg, thank me later. The egg rolls and dumplings are fresh and flavorful, then we get to the Pho. A flavorful brothy explosion in your mouth. A nice dark color with hours and hours of cooking behind it and it shows. I hope you give it a try and repeat business. Locally owned and operated too!

Adventure time! I was in the mood to try something new when I spotted a new pho restaurant that recently opened in my neighborhood. After driving past it a few times, I finally decided to check out the menu--and I'm so glad I did. Little did I know, I was about to walk into a hearty serving of deliciousness! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was top-notch. I was greeted immediately and offered some fantastic recommendations. The menu is full of options--you really can't go wrong here. I ordered the three-meat pho with oxtail, brisket, and meatballs. Heads up: the oxtail is a $5 upcharge, but it's absolutely worth it. They also have an impressive drink menu and were even offering samples of their teas. I highly recommend the Thai tea--it was exceptional. I also tried the kumquat lemonade, which was super refreshing and delivered a perfect citrusy punch. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and well-maintained. The seating is comfortable, and you can tell the staff take pride in what they do. Big thanks to the team for a phenomenal experience--I'll definitely be back!

Bun Bo hue with pork blood and oxtail

Pork spring rolls

The pork spring rolls are delicious and have a nice char flavor from the meat. The pho broth is very flavorful and you can taste the aromatics. The decor is very nice and clean but the seats and tables aren't the most comfortable. Overall a great place to get your pho fix.

Their pho is the best i've ever had! The broth is soooo flavorful and not salty. I will say the only downside is sometimes they skimp on the meat even tho it's a 3 protein pho, but that just depends who's making your food to be honest. Nonetheless everything is delicious! oh and their egg rolls are soo GAS!!!

Great food & good prices! The staff were very friendly & attentive. There weren't that many people when I came, this place deserves so much more recognition!

I was happy to get a booth dining alone. There were a few customers there but it was not super busy. It was a clean and calm environment. I ordered the spring rolls and beef Pho. The spring tops were fresh and crispy just the way I like it. Although it was fried it wasn't greasy. My large Pho came out and it had nice flavor on its own. I asked for some chilli oil and the waitress promptly bought some out. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach because I had to take more than half to go. It's a win for me because I love left over Pho! I will say my entire dining experience was excellent. The price aligned with the quality food and service. I will definitely be back.

Searching for a banh mi sandwich with tofu for a quick lunch takeout, I was pleased to see that the restaurant was close to interstate 45 for a quick stop on the way back to Houston (timing is everything to beat the traffic in this area - IYKYK). I ended up ordering both the tofu vermicelli and a tofu banh mi because obviously, you need to try more than one thing. It was fine. Out of the two dishes, the vermicelli was my favorite. It came with a generous portion of noodles, a small lettuce and shredded carrot salad, several large wedges of tofu in a kind of curry sauce, and the classic vermicelli sauce to drizzle over the whole dish. The flavor was good, although what I would consider a slight deviation from traditional flavors, and overall filling. Vermicelli is always a dependable choice and I was satisfied with this dish. The tofu banh mi, however was nothing special. I prefer the bread to be a bit more crispy on the outside with a soft interior and this one was fairly soft all over. Inside, the tofu really needed more seasoning, seemingly cooked without any added flavors except for the fried finish. I added some hoisin sauce but still it needed something more. I'm always eager to try new places but not sure that this one will be a repeat for me.

The food was very good!…read more I was hesitant at first because some of the menu seemed to be fusion items. In a place like Houston, where you can get authentic Vietnamese food, this can be a luck draw if the fusion pays off. However, when I tried the food, it was a very flavorful and worth every cent I spent. Everything was very tasty. The wings were flavorful and crisp. It had a combination of crispy skin seasoned with a rich sauce. The meat was also moist. For a party of two, it was also very shareable because they gave six pieces -both drums and wings. I will say that you really gotta to get in there get your hands and face dirty though! (They did provide a hand wipe!) For the main dishes, the won tonic soup was very flavorful with sweet-and-sour elements with egg noodles that soaked up all this good flavor. The wontons inside were very standard. And the onion was added to provide some balance. Everything was very hardy and filling. My friend had gotten the vermicelli. Which came with crunchy egg rolls, shredded veggies, noodles, and shrimp topped with a fish sauce. It felt very light and refreshing with a balance of textures and savory elements'. Highly recommend as the number one and two selling dishes - it would just depend on if you're in a soup or dry noodle sort of mood. Service was overall fast and friendly. You have to pay by going to the counter. We had a newer waiter though, and it took him a long time to get our orders correctly and he had to get some help. Hopefully they're doing well, but overall, it's a very cute Homie little establishment. Seating fits around 30 around booths and tables.

There was nothing small about it though. Both dishes were delicious, but the pho is my favorite. It was flavorful and remained hot the entire time. The Bo ne was also great, but I will admit I was already full when I tried to work on my way through the plate. The staff was very friendly, and the food came out in a decent amount of time. The restaurant also seemed pretty empty on a Saturday early evening. I can't wait to go back and try more options at this restaurant!

The weather warmed up so it wasn't the day for pho. The service was good. Although it was good news to have yet another Vietnamese place, I felt the dishes ordered were mediocre. Although the pork was flavorful, it was thin, stringy, chewy and unlike the juicy chargrilled pork we were used to. The noodles tasted fine but lacked a crunch. It just didn't hit the spot. It tasted fine and if you haven't had this dish before, you may perhaps like it quite a lot. However, I really liked the generous quantity of shrimp in my grilled shrimp Vermicelli. I was able to share the shrimp as there were so many. It's high protein. The shrimp was nicely peeled, crunchy, sauteed and slightly better quality than many Vietnamese restaurants. I don't recommend the soft shrimp spring rolls; Although I liked the standalone shrimp without the typical boiled pork slices, the sauce wasn't the peanut sauce but hoisin sauce. The ambiance was good and relaxing. Restrooms were average. There was a wash sink outside so you could wash hands without using the restrooms. After reading the reviews, I was hoping to like this more.
