If I could give this place a -10 I certainly would. The so called "manager" that dresses like a thug and seems to be like 17 years old is very rude. He would not allow me to speak to the actual manager or owner. He was very rude because I asked how much longer my food would be, he turned around and asked if I was in a hurry. My son went to pick up an order for a customer but before leaving asked to use the restroom. The "manager" who looks to be no older than 20 then tells him he is not allowed to use the restroom because "it's for paying customers and this ain't no gas station." My son went into the restroom anyway to check to make sure his hair was ok as he had taken off his hat (hat hair) and to wash his hands, didn't even use the toilet. I mean why would you deny someone a restroom? It's not like he was a random person just coming in specifically for a restroom. He was picking up an order that was already paid for. My son comes out to get the order to find that "the manager" moved the order back behind the counter and was told he wasn't getting the order anymore because he went into the restroom. So now inconvenience the "paying" customer and my son who is responsible for delivering the order. My son asked to speak to the owner who was indeed there and was told he wasn't speaking to the owner. That's just rude, petty and childish. What is the difference if the paying customer was outside waiting in the car and sent someone else in the get the order? They still wouldn't be able to use the restroom? My son felt so disrespected and I did too hearing about it. I then went to the restaurant to get a better understanding and I was told that people steal out of the bathroom and he gets in trouble for it and that no Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc is allowed in there. I was also told that my son didn't flush the toilet. Sorry he was mistaken because my son never even used the toilet. That nastiness was from one of your "paying customers." I don't believe any of his excuses one bit. Honestly it feels more like a racial issue than anything. Basically, he thought my son was going to steal out of their restroom I guess because he is a young black male. Please tell me what is it that people in Magnolia/The Woodlands steal out of a public restaurant restroom? My kids don't want for anything and damn sure don't have to steal. Stop judging people by how they look. You never know who they are or who they know. This is very upsetting because I love Pho but they will never see a dime of my money or anyone we know! I should've walked in and went straight to the restroom in my nursing uniform to see if he would've denied me. This is racial profiling at its finest and it is sad that people are still simple minded this way. This is a great way to loose business. This issue will be escalated because it's ridiculous, embarrassing and frustrating to have to deal with people in public places like this. The meats and tripe were good but unfortunately it didn't come with the meatballs that I always anticipate at Pho restaurants. The noodles and meats were of good proportion and the broth was not salty. The sprouts, basil, peppers and lemon that came with the Pho where fresh and crispy. I give this restaurant two thumbs up! I've been eating at Yummy Pho since I moved to Magnolia in 2018. I think they have changed ownership once or twice but the food has continued to be delicious. They have chicken broth for chicken pho, which I prefer. Many Vietnamese restaurants only offer beef broth. I've had several of their dishes and all were great. read more

So disappointed in our last visit which was a pick up order. We haven't picked up in about 2-3 years. We usually eat it there. We ordered 2 of the Pho Tai which is just ribeye steak- there was hardly a speck of it in there. It was all liquid and noodles.We couldn't believe it, especially after I tipped them 15% for a pick up order. There are too many other consistent restaurants around the Woodlands area to choose from that we won't pick up from there again. This place has always been a gem. Very nice staff and this far, really good food. I typically order the Pho Tai (small) and fresh spring rolls with fish sauce. The Pho is seasoned well, great tasting broth and warms the soul. The meat is tender and fresh. The spring rolls are always fresh and are cut in a way that makes them easier to dip in peanut sauce or my favorite, fish sauce. My sister introduced me to this place a few months ago and I have been a regular ever since! This little mom and pop restaurant is run by the sweetest couple. They serve the guests and cook everything homemade. I haven't had one thing here I don't like. They do not serve alcohol but have delicious boba teas, milk teas, coffees, etc. Today I tried the Wonton Soup for the first time and was blown away. The broth had such a strong and delicious flavor and the wontons were moist and perfectly balanced. This was BY FAR the best wonton soup I've ever had. My new go-to Vietnamese/Thai place for now on. I had chicken pho and my friend had Tom Kha. We shared house spring rolls, which were the best I ever had and were presented vertically. The peanut sauce was also the best. The Pho was tasty and the Tom Kha had a wonderful flavor. Nuff said. This place is really good! Really, really, really good. I will update my review after I've tried other items, especially the pho since it's in their name; however what's really great about this restaurant is that they not only offer Viet cuisine, but Thai as well. When I saw the Thai offerings on the menu, I was skeptical. But I loved the idea that I could get my two favorite cuisines in once place, so on my first experience, I decided to try several items to see how the execution went. Since I wasn't in the mood for pho, I ordered: Traditional Vietnamese Egg Rolls (Cha Gio) Pad Kee Mao Lemongrass Green Curry First, the eggrolls. There is actually an option for REAL rice paper wrapped egg rolls, not the typical packaged wrappers. This is a rarity in Vietnamese restaurants these days. They were good (not quite as crispy as I would've liked). Still, I probably would get them again just because they are more authentic and it's a good gluten-free option. My experience in the past at some Thai places is a Pad Kee Mao that is served and is completely devoid of color, and just a mass of brown noodles. Yummy's had LOTS of veggies and basil, which I prefer. The Lemongrass Stir-fried Vemicelli, is basically a vermicelli bowl (to clarify, the noodles are not fried). I ordered it without any protein. The lemongrass flavor was there. It was amazing. The green curry was flavorful and quite spicy (and it's supposed to be). The owner was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is clean. I can hardly wait to go back and sample their other menu options! Yummy is a great addition to the area, so I recommend that you treat your tastebuds, show them some love, and just GO! read more

Great Pho at an unbelievable price, they really load you up on beef (or whatever you add to it). However the way I judge a Phi place is by the broth, and they have an excellent broth. I was looking through Yelp for a Ramen Noodle house on Saturday for a quick lunch, when i ran accross Yummy Pho as hot and new. Even better, it was 5 minutes from my house. Bonus, it had a few great reviews already. I was greeted when i sat down. Its a small place, nothing fancy, but very nice. I started to look at the menu and they have the traditional Vietnamese food. My eyes stopped at the Pho. I have never seen Ox Tail Pho on any menu before. I love all forms of Ox Tail. Traditional, carribean what ever form. I love properly cooked ox tails. Some people are going to read this and think damn. Do you know where that has been? You don't know what your missing. It is the traditional Pho broth, which is the most flavorful i have ever had. Seriously, i usually load up on hoisin sauce and chili paste, etc. This time, i used them, but very sparingly. The broth is that good. They give you all of the traditional sides like the sprouts, thai basil, jalepeno and cilantro. The one thing that was missing was the lime, but i did not miss it. GREAT BROTH!!! Really it is. I got four nice size ox tails and one tiny one. I also ordered tendons too. The tendons were generous and cooked perfect. Tender, gelatinous goodness. Now the ox tails. I will say, that i was hesitant at first, not because they sound funky, but the reality is, there is no nice way to eat them. Since i was in a resteraunt, i felt a little bad, but really, you just need to pick them up with your fingers and eat the meat off the bone. I tried using the chop sticks and the spoon combo, and it was mostly effective. Just pick em up and suck the meat of the bone. Cooked perfect, i would say more meat than a traditional Pho. They were very good. Have I said they have really good broth? Nice place, nice people running it, good price. I thought it was a very generous portion in the bowl overall. I left over stuffed just because the broth was so good. I will be back and look forward to trying other menu items. read more
