We have been to this location a few minutes from our home and loved the concept, menu, staff, etc. We just walked in today and was told to stand up (by the host stand) here and we will take your order then seat you. It's about a 3x6ft space. There were us X2 and 2 other people trying to fit into this space and go over the lengthy menu. This just plain sucks! I want to sit down, have a drink, an appetizer, browse the menu and try different things like we used to. This was my second time trying pho and it was very redemptive! I hated my first experience at another place & was nervous to try again. We got such good service and took the server's suggestions! This place has a very interesting menu. I had trouble deciding what to eat! I ended up getting their Chicken Wings, Pho-rollies and Tom Yumme. The chicken wings were pretty good. The pho-rollies had dry pho fillings inside a spring roll. Wish they had a chicken option instead of beef filling but it was still good! We had friends from overseas visiting Houston and they stay in the area so after i looked up yelp reviews i decided to bring them here for lunch on the weekend. It was a big mistake. When we got inside the restaurant, the greeter told us we can stand there and look at the menu. I was like okay we are not at a panda express are we? It's very unorganized restaurant. We were asked what we wanted to drink right at the door while we were not sure if we can sit down and look at the menu to order or not. We then got seated. One of the waitresses heard us and said oh i can take your order and brought the tablet. I ordered a Pad Thai and it was just soaked in the sauce and the noodles were overcooked. They have made great accommodations to the dinning area. They have a seemly East take out process as well as ordering to dine In and take out. Stopped in for lunch after a busy morning. I had been meaning to try this place since its only couple minutes away- and finally decided "today is the day!" The only negative I have- is I didn't come sooner! Food: We ordered the crabby cream rolls (S2), curry dish (L7), and a vermicelli bowl (L4). I posted pictures of the menu with prices! The portions were great for the price. The food had lots of fresh flavor. My husband enjoyed his curry dish as well (had enough to bring some home for dinner). I love pho so I will have to force my self to try the vegetable pho since it sounds amazing! (And maybe make the husband get my vermicelli bowl so I can have both-- hey isn't that what true love is?!) Atmosphere: The place was very clean and I was really surprised how laid back the feel was. Definitely the best pho I've ever had! Their beef pho has a mix of chicken and beef broth and it is delicious! My husband and I dined in, and received great service. Being able to bring liquor in from the store next door was a bonus! We have since ordered takeout multiple times, and we enjoy various dishes like the Crabby Cream Rolls, and the Fu Fu Fries! Pro tip, you can reheat those in the oven if they get soggy by the time you bring them home.
