What impressed me the most was the way they were able to accommodate both a keto and vegetarian diet. The Keto fried chicken sandwich is better than stuff I've made at home. Baklava Cheesecake (Not Keto) was delicious mix of flavors.

The baklava cheesecake was my favorite dessert I've ever had... crumbly, soft, delicious. This place gets better every time.

Ordered from here using grub hub through Yelp and it was really Good and everything was Keto friendly. The food came fast and on time as quoted and was hot and fresh and well-packaged. I'm not sure how they're able to make the tres leches both delicious and keto friendly, but I heard they use monk fruit sugar (highly recommend for use in the kitchen when you want to sweeten without added carbs). I still can't figure out how the cake part is so good or how they manage to get a decent consistency on the icing, but their dedication to quality shows in the food they put out. The fried chicken was moist inside and crispy outside with a blend of herbs that gave the chicken a wonderful flavor. The cherry tomatoes and ricotta aren't something I'd typically pair with my fried chicken but they definitely knew what they were doing because I found myself wanting to get a little bit of each in every bite. Would love to dine on location next time so I can't speak to the ambiance of the place but I definitely enjoyed what I ate and will order from them again in the future. FTK all day!

First time coming to this food truck, and I can say that I will be coming back! The fried chicken was delicious and the veggies complimented it perfectly. The ricotta cheese and sauce pulled the dish together. The pork shoulder was also delicious! Service was quick as I was the only one waiting!

I got the vegan zab and the lions Maine steak. Both were to die for! Great location and awesome staff. They have a projector and are normally playing something cool. I really appreciate the friendly nature of the staff. They literally added another vegan option because my roommate and I loved the food so much. It's a great location and the food is always fresh. I can't wait to come back to this hidden vegan gem! Ps. You can't miss the fire pit when it gets a bit cooler out.

Former chef of Emmer Rye co-opens an all keto food truck. Aka Keto Bros. It's essentially fine dining in casual takeaway boxes. So far, the best keto option I've stumbled upon given the cooks are pro trained (obviously) knowing the right blends and techniques to make the food as if it's not a keto diet at all. Chicken Liver Butternut Squash salad was creamy and nicely sweetened by the squash. Broken up by the spicy arugula. It wasn't offensive but it also wasn't so creamed down that you don't recognize that it's liver. Fried Chicken was moist and tender on the inside with a dusty batter on the outside made with parmesan, chicharones with a blend of five spice. Reminds me of Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken with bursting all red cherry tomatoes in a cream sauce Tres Leches was made with a keto flour that strategically soaked up the milk beautifully. Could drink it all. Made with monk fruit.

We didn't expect to be blown away by keto food from a freakin food truck, but boy did we get our minds blown by how goooood the food is? U betcha! This is what you get when one of the owners used to work for Intero, Eberly and Emmer & Rye. Right when the plated dishes came out, I said out loud, "I see Eberly, Emmer & Rye and Intero plating" and immediately dug in (after taking pictures, of course!) Their meat supplier is the same as Jeffrey's and Josephine's restaurants that should be enough to convince you - the quality is legit! We had: Filet mignon - rutabaga, caramelized onions, bacon, oyster mushrooms, glazed carrots and arugala Pork belly lettuce wraps with kimchi Chicken liver mousse with butternut squash, cranberries, goat cheese, chicken skin granola (read that again) and arugala The zab - green beans, broccoli, lamuse gouda, picked beets and cauli, plus (added new york strip) Pork shoulder with chimichurri with brussel sprouts, mushroom and cheese purée Chocolate pudding, tres leches, tiramisu and house-made kombucha Don't wait too long to visit them, it's really very very good!

Chicken curry is the first thing you need to try!

This food truck is one of those places where you didn't think anything worth it would be coming out of it if you passed by, but you would be very wrong. It seems that they are still a bit experimental with their menu, but the flavor and presentation is absolutely there. I ordered for 4, and although the menu UX was a bit difficult to traverse and there were certain things out of stock, I was happy with everything I tried. The prices definitely gave you bang for your buck. First, the chicken curry is the #1 thing you should try. They added rice in my curry which made it feel really substantial. Although a bit salty, the flavor was the best out of everything I had. I highly recommend everyone trying this one out first. You won't regret it. Their bbq beef sandwich was on sale and it tasted much more expensive than they were selling it for. I had a few bites and it was nice and sweet with good umami, but I had to save it for later. Their chicken wings were difficult to order because of their UI, but they were both affordable and pretty good! Their ranch has a Greek yogurt like texture, which I didn't prefer but the taste was good. However, I would still recommend the chicken curry over this. Because we had picked up food way too late (we are sorry!!!), I can't give a proper opinion on the fried chicken since the fried texture and temperature was compromised. We had to substitute an OOS item for this, so I would love to try the pork belly and biscuits next. This place is open late night in a somewhat sketchy looking place with whimsical team members. They even threw in free desserts even though we were so late picking up. They're the type of people you'd want to order from after a night out and won't regret. Fun, yummy, and affordable. Really all I can ask for from a food truck. If you're taking away anything from this review, just make sure you're trying the chicken curry if you come by!

Cabbage special appetizer

This was by far my favorite meal on my trip to Austin. I saw a review saying it was the best and I agree. This is high-quality fresh, sophisticated food. I also love the irony of it being behind the Texaco. The vibe though is great, there are some picnic tables, string lights, and the guys making the food in the truck are enthusiastic and happy to help you choose from a list where everything looks good. We had the "steak and zab" and cabbage special appetizer which included queso and bacon? and fresh herbs. Anyway, I've been daydreaming about that appetizer for a week now. My friend who ordered the chicken sandwich also said "whoa, this is the best chicken sandwich I've ever had." That's pretty epic. We bought some beers down the street and ate like queens. Will come back soon!

Butternut salad with chicken live mousse, 44 farms steak and zab & chicken curry

Stumbled upon this place and was dumbfounded to find out it was a food truck after seeing photos of the food they were churning out. Decided to give it a whirl on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised when, after we ordered, the estimated pick up time was only 20 minutes later. Both of the gentlemen were super friendly and had the food ready as soon as I arrived (which I feel almost never happens at food trucks). Got the food home and WOW. Each dish was plated up nicely, with a clear knack for presentation. We started with the butternut squash with chicken liver mousse. The mousse was delightfully whipped and the squash, goat cheese & cranberries provided a great medley of textures & flavors. Next up was the perfectly seared steak. The chimichurri was absolutely lights out and the perfect accompaniment. Pairing with the steak were some delicious potatoes and a medley of vegetables, both cooked well & tasty. The encore was the chicken curry. Tender stewed chicken danced in the flavor packed curry and it was yet another home run. Cannot recommend this place enough. The best take out we have had in years (and we had a lot, like others, during Covid). A MUST GO!!!

Holy Moly! Ryan and Ryan are both amazing Chefs! Super down to earth, and stoked to be Chefs! You can tell this is their passion! If you want truly amazing fine dining food, but are on a budget go ASAP to their food truck!!! I would actually recommend running their to eat their food because I feel like they will be getting a proper restaurant very soon, and then they won't be in the budget friendly realm of fine dinning! I am going back tomorrow to eat more food and try more things!!! Come join me!!!! Bring, friends, family, dogs, cats, birds ! Bring whomever, and enjoy the good food and positive vibes at Ryan and Ryan's food truck!!!

This food truck is in a slightly odd location - a large parking lot by St. Elmo's - but definitely worth visiting. It has well priced delicious and inventive meals that are keto and incorporate organic ingredients. I almost want to keep this one to myself, it's so good!

What kind of oil is the gluten free fried chicken cooked in? What about your other food?

Do you have any gluten free options?

Our entire menu is gluten free aside from our buns, gnocchi, chocolate tart and banana pudding(the fried chicken is even gluten free).

Will you take requests for my food to be cooked in olive/avocado oil or butter?

We can for some items, but if its fried in the fryer(fried chicken) we won't be able to.

What oils are used in the food?

The fried chicken is cooked in canola oil(avocado is ten times the price) everything else is cooked in butter or avocado oil.

For my breakfast entree I ordered the Shrimp and Grits, gulf shrimp, smoked gouda grits, tabasco shallot butter sauce, bacon crumbles, sunny side vital farms egg. I got the Tabasco sauce on the side and the grits had a great flavor and texture for a very savory and flavorful dish. I also came during the social hour and took advantage of $7 cocktails and ordered the spicy strawberry margarita with socorro tequila, paula's orange, jalapeño, strawberry, tajin. I used my free bday entree coupon from the app to order the Citrus glazed salmon to go. The sound and TVs were all pretty great for watching the game, and they had a ton of space. It was nice having the fake grass and picnic tables in the outdoor areas because it really added to the vibe while still being well shaded throughout. The food was good. During the game we shared the Fried Pickles, which were crispy and well breaded with good pickle chips, as well as their Green Chili Queso, which was also excellent. The chips had good seasoning and the queso was thick. For a main entrée, I ordered the patty melt. It was melty with good flavor, but I would have preferred chopped onions over sliced onions. The Sriracha mayo was great and added a kick I was not expecting. The drinks were decently priced for East 6th all things considered. I was not drinking that night and ordered a mocktail variation of their Lavender Haze using zero proof Empress gin instead of the regular Empress gin. They still charged the same price, which felt a little unfair, but it is what it is. Overall, it was a great experience and a solid bar for games. I could see myself coming back for another event since they handled a large crowd well. Aesthetically, the spot is really nice too, which adds to the positives. Not bad for a last minute decision.
