From the ambiance to the service to the food, everything was absolutely impeccable. We opted for the seasonal 7-course tasting menu: 1. Local corn and onion snacks - Loved the corn soup and the sweet potato crisp. The polenta was good, but if I'm being honest, I could've used a few more of those sweet potato crisps because they were dangerously delicious. 2. Bread with blistered shishito pepper cream, garlic butter, and tarragon chermoula - All were great, but the blistered shishito pepper cream stole the show. I quite literally licked the plate clean. 3. Glazed carrots with carrot cream - Refreshing with a subtle kick of Asian-inspired flavors that really elevated the dish. 4. Cauliflower and white grape soup - Hearty, comforting, and perfect for the cold weather. I was skeptical about the grapes at first, but they worked beautifully, adding just enough sweetness to balance the saltiness. 5. Squash cappelletti - The pasta was cooked to perfection with the ideal amount of filling. I was already getting full at this point, but there was no way I was leaving this unfinished. 6. Cranberry & ginger popsicle - A fantastic palate cleanser that actually helped reset my appetite for dessert. 7. Concord grape sorbet - I neither loved nor disliked it, but it was refreshing and surprisingly nostalgic. It instantly reminded me of PB&Js with grape jelly that my mom used to pack for me as a kid. 8. Burnt butter apple cake with maple ice cream - I'm a sucker for anything apple, and this combination was next-level. The perfect way to end the tasting. Overall, I had an amazing experience. The service was outstanding, the space was intimate and ideal for a date night, and the food was thoughtful and creative. I'll definitely be back for the spring menu. You don't have to be vegan to love this spot!

I've been wanting to go back, but it's always fully booked. Honestly, I'm happy they're so busy, and I know I'll get my chance to experience it again. In the meantime, I love that more people are getting to enjoy it!

Apr 8, 2026 review:…read more I've been at Nori two times in person and recently tried their to-go order. We got one Austin roll ($22), volcano roll ($15), creamy spicy tan tan ramen ($20), teriyaki sesame tofu yakisoba ($20). I have had their sushi and yakisoba but tried their ramen for first time. I was impressed with their packaging. As you can see in picture, veggies and noodles box was on top and soup at bottom. The only thing I didn't like how noodles became very sticky because of how tight they were packed. So I got it as cold (because I live 30 mins away) and sticky. Ramen came with all the veggies like grilled Chinese broccoli, tofu, sweet corn, marinated shiitake mushrooms, red onions and negi. Yakisoba noodles had the Stir-fried noodles tossed with cabbage, scallion, carrot, marinated shiitake mushrooms, and fragrant negi in a savory house sauce. It was good if you like this type of noodles. Austin roll had Smoked tempeh, tempura tofu, jalapeño, pickles. And on the to Avocado, roasted garlic oil, tempura flakes, smoked paprika, teriyaki. Volcano roll was a deep fried roll which had spinach, avocado, sweet potato. On top: spicy mayo, sweet soy sauce, chili sauce, Caviart and tempura onion. I would say this is the best vegetarian sushi place I've found in Austin. So if you're in search, this wouldn't disappoint you.

I'll start by stating the obvious: everything on the menu is plant based! It's rare for me to go to a restaraunt and be able to eat everything on the many and its unheard of when it comes to sushi which is why I so excited to try the place out. IM OBSESSED! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We tried the chick'n karaage, impossible gyoza, and a few different speciality roles (austin, manhattan, and another that I can't recall). While the food was really yummy, the drinks were somehow even better. I had an early grey martini that blew me away. Probably in the top 2 best cocktails I've ever had in my life. The best part is all of their drinks (or nearly all of their cocktails) come in three variations which allows you to get them with alchohol, thc, or make it complelely non-alcoholic. Love the inclustivity. I cant' wait to come back!

I moved to Austin about a month ago, and I've already lost count on how many times I've eaten here…read more It is SO GOOD!! I've also already brought friends and family to try it! The breakfast tacos have a flavor I've never been able to get at home. I don't know how they cook everything! The 3am is by far my favorite taco with that breakfast sausage that tastes like real meat. I've also gotten the "beef" nachos maybe three times. I'm constantly craving those. The food truck park is a cute area with lots of tables and fans. The staff is always friendly and the food comes out fast even when they're busy.

Service The guy working the truck seemed to be high while taking our orders and making food. That must explain why tacos are $7, they were decently large and that runny age was good. It also took ages to make and get our food. I know vegan food does tend to take longer because of the care process, but this was another level. They did not call our names when the food was ready and it took ages. We even came to check on our food a few times and it was not ready. Ambiance Food truck in the middle of an empty lot. There are quite a few other trucks, but they were all pretty expensive. Bathrooms are decent onsite and there area few tables around the here you can eat. Honestly meh on the location and truck food.

The best thing we had were the veggie samosas, really liked those. The dal soup was alright, lacking flavor and watery. The onion pakoda was exactly what you'd think, fried onion strings. I've had way better Shahi korma, tikka masala and chicken biryai and the jalapeño naan was interesting. It was just plain bread with jalapeños on it, no garlic or butter or anything else. Maybe I'm missing something and this is just part of the fusion, but it was not doing it for me. They do have a good happy hour if you want to come try them out!

We had our choice of outdoor or indoor seats, and chose a spot outside on their wrap around patio. Tables were a bit wobbly and cement was cracked/uneven, but there was a charm to it. Our order was taken promptly! We got a lamb samosa (half off appetizers M-F from 4-7pm!), a couple of curries, a garlic naan, and a mango lassi. The curries were a little under-spiced and the lassi was a touch over sweet, but the garlic naan was amazing and the basmati rice was as perfectly cooked as any I've ever had! Portions were a touch small, but prices were fair. Our server was also incredibly kind and warm. I will definitely come back to try some other items off their expansive menu!
